On Friday, the U.N. Security Council approved on a 14-0 vote a badly flawed resolution calling for a cease-fire in Gaza. Instead of vetoing the measure, as it should have done, the United States abstained, even though the resolution failed to mention Hamas‘ practice of launching missiles into Israel.

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Monday referred to the US decision to abstain from Thursday’s UN Security Council resolution vote calling for a Gaza cease-fire, saying US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice “was left quite embarrassed, not voting for a resolution that she herself had prepared and organized.”

“Globalize the Intifada.” This is the fundamental message underlying all of these anti-Israel rallies organized by far-left radical groups: They see the Palestinian Intifada as the first wave of attack in a global revolution. Which, in their delusional fantasies, will usher in a secular communist utopia. This goes a long way toward explaining how left-wing groups can possibly give their support to Hamas, which is after all a repressive theocratic regime.

FOX news is reporting that a Hamas leader has declared: “WE WILL FIGHT UNTIL WE FREE JERUSALEM”. They said they will keep fighting until they free Yerushalayim. The truth about Islam.

So Hamas plainly states its objective, knowing their Islamic armies have been dispatchedand are scattered about the Western world, conducting a low grade civil war.

From the outset of Operation Cast Lead, a narrative that is highly disturbing for Israelis and Jews has emerged in the Arab world. “Israel carries out mass extermination,” Hamas and Islamic Brotherhood spokesmen scream out on Arab satellite networks, and especially on al-Jazeera. “Collective punishment, genocide, Holocaust,” these same spokesmen cry out, with photos of dismembered bodies in the wake of Air Force attacks posted in the backdrop. These are charged words, yet it is precisely what speakers are trying to achieve: They wish to show the world that Israel has replaced Nazi Germany. Those are not slips of the tongue, but rather, a deliberate argument that is repeated time and again.
