Israeli Arab Shoots Daughter Because She "Violated the Tenets of Islam…"

‘Honor’ Murder in Beit Jan

* Killing your daughter to protect your familiy honor,  as we all know,is totally un-Islamic. Can’t blame the acts of a tiny minority of extremists on  the religion of one and a half gazillion peaceful Muslims, or can we? 

(IsraelNN.com) A resident of Beit Jan arrived at the Carmiel police station on Saturday night with his badly wounded daughter, aged 23. The man told police he had shot the young woman in an “honor” attack, because her behavior violated the tenets of Islam.

Paramedics rushed to the scene, but were unable to save the young woman, who died of her wounds before reaching the nearest hospital. The father has been arrested.

Archbishops Urge Public Not To Vote BNP

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York are urging voters not to let the expenses scandal lead to protest votes for the British National Party at next month’s elections.

Rowan Williams and John Sentamu said people’s anger and disillusionment are “understandable.”

But they added it would be “tragic” if people chose to vote for the BNP at the European Parliamentary and local elections on June the fourth.

In a joint statement, issued on behalf of the Church of England House of Bishops, they said the elections come “at a time of extraordinary turbulence in our democratic system”.

“The temptation to stay away or register a protest vote in order to send a negative signal to the parties represented at Westminster will be strong,” they insisted.

“In our view, however, it would be tragic if the understandable sense of anger and disillusionment with some MPs over recent revelations led voters to shun the ballot box.”

Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the prison system. About 30,000 to 40,000 conversions among federal prisoners take place each year, according to a study for the Justice Department

Imams Reject Talk That Islam Radicalizes Inmates

Salahuddin Mustafa Muhammad, the imam at the Masjid al-Ikhlas, a mosque in Newburgh, N.Y., has spent more than two decades ministering to the Muslim faithful in prisons, serving as a chaplain at the nearby Fishkill Correctional Facility. There, he leads prayers and offers counseling.

“Most people are searching,” he said of the men he encounters in prison. “So they decide on Islam and that becomes their life.”

Yet, authorities refuse to do anything to this guy. And they continue to refuse to overhaul the Muslim prison chaplain system and who controls it. Instead, we continue to hear that these men were “not tied to any terrorist group” or that they were “lone crazy men.” Uh, sorry, no, they were Muslims. But last week, Mr. Muhammad found himself an accidental actor of sorts in the latest case of what the authorities call a homegrown terror plot, one in which four ex-convicts were accused of trying to blow up two Bronx synagogues and attack military aircraft. The plot, the authorities say, began when one of the men met a government informant at Mr. Muhammad’s mosque roughly a year ago.With at least two of the men appearing to be prison converts to Islam, the case has in certain circles evoked an old debate about the role prison might play as an incubator of extremist ideas among Muslims, and it put Mr. Muhammad in the position of confronting that debate in a very personal way.

Mr. Muhammad said his years working with Muslims in prison had turned up little actual evidence that many or any of them became radicalized behind bars.

“I don’t hear any of that wild stuff,” he said. “And if I did hear it, I would stomp it out. It is totally un-Islamic.”

The Palestinian Authority has unleashed an “unprecedented barrage of lies” negating Judaism’s connection to Jerusalem, as part of a ongoing campaign to undermine the Jewish connection to the capital, an Israeli media watchdog group said on Thursday.”Jerusalem is presented as a Muslim city, with no regard for historical reality,” the Palestinian Media Watch report said. “Mention is made of the importance of Jerusalem for Christians, but Judaism has no place in the city.”

The report, which was made public as Israel celebrated the 42nd anniversary of the reunification of the capital, cites top Muslim religious leaders in the city, ministers from the Fatah-run PA government in the West Bank as well as official Palestinian television denying any Jewish connection to Jerusalem.

Recently, Palestinian leaders have been defining all of Israel, and particularly Jerusalem, as land which Muslims have a religious obligation to hold on to, and which must be liberated for Islam, the report found.

In addition, the PA is continuing to pursue an “alarmist” campaign of “denunciation and demonization” by presenting as fact the “incendiary libel” that Israel is trying to destroy the Aksa Mosque as part of a “Judaization” of the city, the report said….

And the UN, to its everlasting shame, abets this demonization.

To give this man a soapbox at Newsweek, Time or CNN is the same as allowing Joseph Goebbles during WWII to pump Nazi propaganda into American living rooms. It never ceases to amaze me that 8 years after 9/11 America is still so ignorant and naive. To allow this enemy agent to make a good living behind enemy lines while obfuscating, minimizing and denying the threat from Islam is as fantastic and unreal as the Marxist Muslim POTUS. Zakaria is engaging claissic taqiyya and spins Islamic fairy tales all the while telling us there is nothing to worry about. Is the whole nation on crack?

Everything you know about Iran is wrong, or at least more complicated than you think. Take the bomb. The regime wants to be a nuclear power but could well be happy with a peaceful civilian program (which could make the challenge it poses more complex). What’s the evidence? Well, over the last five years, senior Iranian officials at every level have repeatedly asserted that they do not intend to build nuclear weapons. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has quoted the regime’s founding father, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, who asserted that such weapons were “un-Islamic.” The country’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, issued a fatwa in 2004 describing the use of nuclear weapons as immoral. In a subsequent sermon, he declared that “developing, producing or stockpiling nuclear weapons is forbidden under Islam.” Last year Khamenei reiterated all these points after meeting with the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Mohamed ElBaradei. Now, of course, they could all be lying. But it seems odd for a regime that derives its legitimacy from its fidelity to Islam to declare constantly that these weapons are un-Islamic if it intends to develop them. It would be far shrewder to stop reminding people of Khomeini’s statements and stop issuing new fatwas against nukes.

  • I think we have more than enough evidence that the Iranians are lying. So does Zakaria and Mohamed El Baradei. Could it be that they have an agenda?

For years UK victims of overseas terror attacks and their families have battled to get compensation.

Now a man whose son was killed in the Sharm al-Sheikh bombings in July 2005 is calling for campaign groups to join together to lobby the government.

Four years ago Trevor Lakin’s life was torn apart when his son was killed in a terrorist attack in Egypt.

Jeremy Lakin, 28, and his girlfriend Annalie Vickers were among 11 Brits killed in the bomb blasts, while they were on holiday in the resort of Sharm al-Sheikh.

Since then Mr Lakin, from south Lincolnshire, has actively campaigned for better treatment of victims of international terrorism.

Currently the UK government does not guarantee compensation for people injured in attacks abroad.

Victims of the 7 July bomb attacks in London received money from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority. But those hurt outside the UK are not eligible.

It is a situation which angers many, as other countries such as Australia, France and Israel have schemes in place offering financial support for their citizens.

Mr Lakin, 60, says he is not interested in gaining money for his family, but wants to raise awareness of the plight of people affected by terror attacks.

Muslim protesters claim police brutality in Athens

At least three people were hospitalized in Athens on Saturday morning after a firebomb attack on a shop used as a Muslim prayer center for immigrants  the invading soldiers of Allah.

Police said unknown assailants smashed the shop’s windows and poured gasoline inside before igniting it.

The attack came a day after clashes between more than 1,000 Muslim protesters and Greek police in central Athens, after the police allegedly desecrated a copy of the Koran.

The march was organized by leftist, immigrant and anti-racism groups. Violence broke out after the rally when a group of protesters began throwing projectiles at police.

Belgrade, 20 May (AKI) — The spiritual leader of Bosnia’s Muslim majority on Wednesday sparked controversy by stating that nothing could separate Muslims in Serbia from those in Bosnia. Reiss-ul-Ulema Mustafa Ceric made the comments during a visit to a Muslim community in Serbia’s Muslim-majority Sandzak region bordering Montenegro.

“We are one, and there is no force that could separate us,” Ceric told Muslims in the Sandzak town of Tutin.

“Sarajevo has been and will remain a spiritual centre for all Bosnian Muslims, wherever they live,” he said as he ended a three-day visit on Wednesday.

The four men accused of plotting to blow up synagogues and shoot down a plane all did stretches in state prisons – a major breeding ground for Islamic radicalization. 

At least two of the suspects, James Cromitie and Onta Williams, entered the system as Baptists and were paroled as Muslims.

The concern about prisons incubating jihadists has been heightened in the debate over releasing Guantanamo terror suspects to facilities across the U.S.

FBI Director Robert Mueller has called America’s prisons “fertile ground for extremists.”

A 2006 study called “Out of the Shadows” found “tight-knit communities of Muslims in prison are ripe for radicalization, and could easily become terrorist cells.”…

In the featured article at Human Events this morning, I discuss jihadist recruitment in prisons, which should be a chief concern of law enforcement officials in the wake of the Bronx synagogue jihad plot, and the implications of all this for the Gitmo inmates.

Should we bring Guantanamo inmates to U.S. prisons, as the Obama administration has proposed? FBI Director Robert Mueller doesn’t think that it would be wise to house such prisoners even in the ultra-high security Supermax facility: “The concerns we have about individuals who may support terrorism being in the United States run from concerns about providing financing, radicalizing others.” Radicalizing others is a real possibility: two of the four Muslims, James “Abdul Rahman” Cromitie and Onta “Hamza” Williams, who were arrested last week for plotting to blow up synagogues in the Bronx and shoot down an airplane, converted to Islam while in prison. When they went to prison, both were Baptists.This really shouldn’t be surprising to anyone. Mueller sounded the warning some time ago, saying that America’s prisons were “fertile ground for extremists.” And a new Rand Corporation study, released just this month, has found that Islamic jihad groups have long targeted prisons as key centers for recruitment.
