Shkupolli’s former Finnish girlfriend had won a restraining order against Shkupolli, who allegedly had stalked her for years.

Shkupolli had a criminal record for firearms offences and was thought to have used a 9mm handgun in the attacks, which instantly brought calls for more restrictions on gun ownership from the usual nutroots.   But what has legal gun ownership got to do with this? This “ethnic Albanian immigrant”  was a known criminal with a record of illegal weapon ownership.  So now the dhimmies in charge want to use this to restrict legal gun ownership?  Can you ban illegal ownership? More restrictions makes no difference to criminals. In the end, it will only be crims who have weapons….

An ethnic Albanian from Kosovo, he had left as Yugoslavia began to break apart, but it is not clear why. His relationship with the woman lasted for 18 years, but it was not a monogamous one. Shkupolli was also married to a woman of Albanian background, with whom he had a family, according to Finnish media reports.

(CNN) — A Somali man was shot as he allegedly tried to enter the home of Danish political cartoonist Kurt Westergaard — known for his controversial depictions of the Muslim prophet Mohammad — on Saturday, police said.

The 27-year-old man, who was not identified, wielded an ax and a knife and cracked a window at Westergaard’s home in Aarhus, said police spokesman Morten Jensen. A home alarm alerted police to the scene at 10 p.m., and they were attacked by the man, he said.

The officers shot the man in the right leg and left hand. He was hospitalized, but was not seriously injured, police said.

A friend of mine told me that wearing the modern under wear is not sunnah. Is this true?

Praise be to Allaah.

Our shaykh ‘Abd al-Rahmaan al-Barraak answered this question as follows:

“Underwear and other types of clothing have to do with habits based on people’s traditions (‘urf), so long as they do not contradict the sharee’ah. The wearing of pants (sirwaal) was known at the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) because of the hadeeth of Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with them both) concerning what the muhrim (person in a state of ihraam for Hajj or ‘Umrah) is forbidden to wear: ‘The muhrim should not wear a shirt or turban or pants…’ (Agreed upon).”

There is nothing wrong with wearing underwear so long as it does not involve anything that is haraam, such as crosses or pictures of animate beings, or women wearing men’s clothes and vice versa.
