(Canada) Following hot on the heels of the Uks ban on Indian Muslim televangelist Dr.Zakir Naik. Ottawa has refused him permission to enter the country in which to spread his message of hate at an Islamic symposium to be held over the first weekend in July at the Toronto Convention Centre. It seems the man who fronts ‘Peace TV’ and preaches that women should be hit in which to keep them in line, that apostates as traitors must be killed and that Gays must be put to the sword. (Which is a double entendre if ever there was one) will have to find something else to do over the summer as his so called world tour hits more buffers that Hitler’s did when his manager signed him up for Russia.

A top Syrian businessman at the weekend insisted that the Middle East peace process is a farce, and that there will never be peace or coexistence between average Arabs and the Jews of Israel.

“Don’t let the moderate Arab leaders delude you,” Yasser Kashlak, who is of Palestinian descent, said on Hizballah’s al-Manar television, “[you] cannot make peace with us.”

“Our children will return to Palestine, you have no reason for coexistence,” he continued. “Even if our leaders will sign a peace agreement, we will not sign.” (continued below the fold)

Apparently, he is not the only one who gets his peaceful religion all wrong:

When Adolf Hitler was building up the Nazi movement in the 1920s, leading up to his taking power in the 1930s, he deliberately sought to activate people who did not normally pay much attention to politics. Such people were a valuable addition to his political base, since they were particularly susceptible to Hitler’s rhetoric and had far less basis for questioning his assumptions or his conclusions.

“Useful idiots” was the term supposedly coined by V.I. Lenin to describe similarly unthinking supporters of his dictatorship in the Soviet Union.

Put differently, a democracy needs informed citizens if it is to thrive, or ultimately even survive. In our times, American democracy is being dismantled, piece by piece, before our very eyes by the current administration in Washington, and few people seem to be concerned about it.

The president’s poll numbers are going down because increasing numbers of people disagree with particular policies of his, but the damage being done to the fundamental structure of this nation goes far beyond particular counterproductive policies.

Just where in the Constitution of the United States does it say that a president has the authority to extract vast sums of money from a private enterprise and distribute it as he sees fit to whomever he deems worthy of compensation? Nowhere.

UN Calls Censorship a “Human Right”

The United Nations believes that the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has a “human right” to impose censorship on the media to “promote (Muslim) religious tolerance.” UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will even hand over funds for the OIC to ensure that strict censorship on the media will be enforced when reporters shed a negative light on radical Islamic militants that include, Osama bin-Laden, al-Qaeda, the Taliban, al-Shabaab (Somalia) and Abu Shayaff (the Philippines).

According to Fox News, “concerns about censorship were raised after the 56-nation Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), which has tremendous sway in the United Nations, successfully pushed through a resolution that creates a watchdog to monitor how religion is portrayed in the media.”

The OIC claims it will enforce religious tolerance by ensuring that the (Muslim) religion is not mocked. An incident occurred when Danish cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed instigated Islamic riots. Yet, the United States and the European Union members on the council voted against the resolution, worrying that it will censor the press and assault freedom of expression.

As reported by Fox, “the resolution now opens the way for the Human Rights Council to select a special investigation on religious freedom to “work closely with mass media organizations to ensure that they create and promote an atmosphere of respect and tolerance for religious and cultural diversity.”

The UN loves to use irony whe implementing new policies. Mr. Ban appointed a so-called “Human Rights Council,” to be the media watchdog to impose censorship. Meanwhile, the UN hires and appoints investigators to seek and punish whistle-blowers and aid in cover-ups of corruption by initiating “sham” investigation inquiries. The UN also hosts “Transparency Summits,” even though Mr. Ban is notorious for hiding internal UN documents from public scrutiny.

Oklahoma State Rep. Rex Duncan (R) is worried that “dangerous fools in black robes” are going to impose sharia law on the U.S. court system.

Sharia law is sometimes used to justify cruel punishments like amputations, like stoning, as well as unequal treatment of women. And did you know it’s on its way to American courts?

Razi Hashmi, the executive director of CAIR-Oklahoma, has said the measure is “promoting division and bigotry instead of promoting unity and understanding of other faiths and cultures,” according to the Edmond Sun.

(Islam promotes  division and bigotry. We don’t need “More understanding of other faiths and cultures”, what we need is stiff resistance to Mohammedan advances)
