What’s been an obvious rort for months – even to outside observers – is finally news to the gullible Gillard Government:

Almost half the boat people who claim to be minors may be lying about their age to gain favourable treatment while in detention on Christmas Island, immigration officials fear, prompting tougher checks of birth dates.

But refugee advocates are worried the crackdown on ages is “bordering on paranoia” and harming asylum seekers’ chances of staying here.

A former member of Chancellor Merkel’s Christian Democrats has formed a party to attract voters enthralled by Thilo Sarrazin and disappointed by Germany’s existing parties. Berlin politician René Stadkewitz’s new Freedom Party aims to leverage fear of Islam for political ends.

The 52 men and women meeting in a conference room at the Hotel Maritim in Berlin’s Tiergarten district were determined to remain undisturbed. No one else was privy to the location and time of the meeting, in a deliberate attempt to prevent protestors and journalists from showing up at the scene. The only outsider present was Daniel Pipes, an American author, critic of Islam and advisor to former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, who happened to be in the city.

Yeah, but don’t expect the learned anal-ysts  in the West or their media lapdogs to tell you that. The prosecutor ruled out seeking the death penalty because he wanted to give “no appearance that a Christian is seeking to execute a Muslim for racial, political, religious or cultural beliefs.”

Yes, you read that right.  Read the whole thing below the fold!

State prosecutor Stephanie Low said Almaleki admitted purposefully running down his daughter.” — ” ‘By his own admission, this was an intentional act and the reason was that his daughter had brought shame on him and his family,’ Low said. ‘This was an attempt at an honor killing.’ ”

Noor Almaleki was the murder victim in an Islamic honor killing. In November 2009, her Muslim father deliberately ran her over with his car, backed up, then ran her over again. She hung on for weeks. She succumbed. She did not submit.

Honor killing should be a capital crime. Islamic honor killing is on the rise in the West, a gruesome gallery. Honor killings in the West should be stamped out, not sanctioned. They should be dealt with in the harshest terms.

A plea deal.

Is the prosecution afraid they may insult Islam if they bring this honor killing case to trial? Is this more sharia enforcement in American courts? (More from Pamela Geller)

MUSLIM teachers have blasted the BBC as “bigoted and Islamophobic” after a documentary about Muslim schools.

What’s wrong with  teaching children the correct way to cut off thieves’ hands and feet, you racist Islamophobic bigots? Can’t you see the beauty of Islam?

The Panorama investigation by veteran journalist John Ware claimed children were exposed to extremist preachers and fundamentalist Islamic groups.

He also revealed that a network of 40 part-time Saudi schools were offering to teach the Saudi national curriculum, and standard textbooks showed children the correct way to cut off thieves’ hands and feet.   But tutors at the London School of Islamics (LSI) branded Ware an “Islam basher”.

Spokesman Iftikhar Ahmad added: “The Panorama show was a confused and sensationalist bit of film-making.

This news story from Russia Today highlights a problem that is becoming more and more critical all across Western Europe. “Asylum seekers” show up in record numbers to claim refugee status, knowing that their chances of being sent home (unless they are Christians) are slim.

The report above  focuses on the case of an alleged Chechen terrorist — with no hands, yet! — who was granted refugee status in Austria. Now he has been arrested as part of a massive Islamic terror plot….
