Egypt, Rape & Harassment of Women

In a swath of the globe notorious for mistreating women, Egypt is particularly infamous. According to a survey conducted in 2008by the Egyptian Center for Women’s Rights, 83 percent of native Egyptian women and 98 percent of women visiting from abroad have experienced some form of public sexual harassment. More than half theEgyptian women reported being molested every day. And contraryto popular belief, most of the victims of this “social cancer,” as the Center called it, were wearing so-called  “modest Islamic dress”.  (Source)

Amazing Mental Acrobatics on the Left:

On February 11^th CBS foreign correspondent, Lara Logan, was publicly gang-raped and beaten for 20-30 minutes by Egyptian men in Tahrir Square who, all the while, cursed her as a “Jew.” CBS only revealed this four days later. Writing at the London Guardian, blogger Amanda Marcotte chose not to focus on this act of  jihadic barbarism because she did not want anyone to draw negative conclusions about Islam, Muslims, Egyptians, or about the so-called Egyptian pro-democracy “revolution.” Instead, like many other commentators, Marcotte bemoaned the fact that “rightwingers” might now draw some politically incorrect conclusions. Marcotte writes:

“In this case, rightwingers who have an interest in stoking fear and loathing of Muslims worldwide pounced at the opportunity to smear all Egyptians with this crime.”

She dismisses the possibility that any “rightwingers” might have a genuine concern for the victim and condemns them all for using Logan’s public gang-rape and beating for “political score-keeping.” After all, every good multicultural relativist knows that all cultures, all countries, all religions are equal and therefore are pretty much the same—except for Western cultures which are somehow worse.  (source)

Chittagong (Agenzia Fides) – A village was burned down and dozens of indigenous have been injured and driven from Ragipara in the mountain district of Rangamati, Diocese of Chittagong. The indigenous people who have suffered violence, perpetrated by Muslim settlers, are Buddhist, Hindu and Christian ethnic minorities. This is the news sent to Fides from the Commission for Justice and Peace of the local Church.

This jihad is ongoing and dates back to long before the Mohammedans declared Bangladesh a Muslim nation. The genocide of Bangla minorities  continues, without anyone taking notice in the UN…..

On 17 February more than 300 Muslim settlers, who intend to take possession of new lands for agriculture, organised a punitive expedition against the village inhabited by indigenous people. The settlers were backed by local police who legitimised the violence. Other cases like this (of attacks on tribal members and private land) have been recorded in recent days in the area of Gulishakhali. The Muslims [sic] settlers committed this under the pretext of the death of their comrade, Ali Saber, found dead in the Ragiparam, and staged a violent reaction, trampling on the rights of minorities.

“They set fire to our homes and our small shops,” an eyewitness told Fides. For some time Muslim settlers have been seeking to force out the local non-Muslim ethnic groups, to acquire new agricultural land. In many cases they have succeeded, because nobody, not even the civil authorities, respects and guarantees the rights of ethnic and religious minorities….

Be it serving as a police officer, a Judge or even as an MP, questions are often raised about the lack of Islamic faces in the British way of life. There is a baying for the blood of Liberal Senator Cory Bernardi for saying this:

“Islam itself is the problem – it’s not Muslims,” he told radio station MTR.

“Muslims are individuals that practise their faith in their own way, but Islam is a totalitarian, political and religious ideology.

“It tells people everything about how they need to conduct themselves, who they’re allowed to marry and how they’re allowed to treat other people.”

Julia Gillard demands the resignation of Bernardi:

Ms Gillard used Question Time on Monday to call for the heads of Coalition immigration spokesman Scott Morrison and outspoken South Australian Senator Cory Bernardi….

Ms Gillard says the politics of the past week have raised the “spectre of One Nation”.

“It is the job of national leadership… to explain to people there is ultimately nothing to be afraid of,…There is another path, and that is seeking to channel that fear and that resentment into political gain… that spectre of that ugly politics. That grubby path is before us again and the principal task of this Parliament this week is to banish that spectre again.”

Mr. Hedegaard was acquitted, but only on the technicality that he had not known that his words, expressed in a private conversation, were being taped. Last week in Vienna, Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff, an Austrian human-rights activist, was fined €480 for calling the Islamic prophet Muhammad a pedophile because he had consummated his marriage to a nine-year old girl. Meanwhile, my own trial in Amsterdam is dragging on, consuming valuable time that I would rather spend in parliament representing my million-and-a-half voters.

“A government-funded program will try to dispel myths about Islam…“ of course…..

Mentors will focus on isolated or troubled young people identified as “at risk” of extremism through the $1.1 million Building Community Resilience programs.

The head of the Australian Multicultural Foundation said preventative measures planned would ensure we don’t go down the path of the UK where terrorist attacks have created havoc.

Seven programs have received Commonwealth grants to try to stem what the Government’s white paper on national security identified as home grown terrorism risks.

Attorney-General Robert McClelland said communities had been crying out for help and the Government had received almost 100 applications.

And they do not ask for it politely. They DEMAND!

“The program will support activities that directly assist young people to disengage from intolerant and radical ideologies,” Mr McClelland said.

Other programs will teach young people to deal with frustration and connect with communities.

Young leaders will also be charged with dispelling myths about Islam.

Religiously mandated lying (taqiyya)  funded by the Labor government? Great idea!

Australian Multicultural Foundation executive director Hass Dellal said the selected mentors will be working with other young people who are “vulnerable to particular views”.

Hass Dellal is appointed by hard left comintern apparatchik Stephen Conroy, who wants to censor the internet……

“There are people with different views, and what we are trying to do is make sure they are not preyed upon,” Mr Dellal said.

“This is about young people taking back traditional Islam, and out of the hands of those who have interpreted it as some sort of violent and extreme religion.”

Its all about Da’awa: proselytizing

Mr Dellal said it was important for young Muslims to educate the wider community about their religion.
