Tony BLiar is a strange creature.

Equipped with mediocre  intellect,  but quick  witted and charming as a social raiser  can be,  the totally overrated Tony BLiar shamelessly filled his pockets with whatever he could grab, always determined to sell his services to the highest bidder. Always in the hope that there is another pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

What puzzles me is this: how could this parvenu, a mere  flasher on the international stage, incompetent,  pretentious and overall clueless, receive and squander so much credit?

BLiar is like a child wondering why the house burned down after he set it on fire. The similarities with ‘Jimmah’ Carter, Slick Willie and Kevin Rudd are striking.

Kissing and Sucking Up to  Dictators (GoV)

Regular readers of WoJ are well informed about the  depravity of the  unelected EU Marxists who are eagerly working perverting everything our  forefathers  killed and died for. Most of you know about EUromed, which is just another word for surrender.

For the cultural relativists, nothing is worth fighting for, all cultures are equal, and Islam is just the next fashion fad.   But not everyone is ready for it. Not just yet: anti-dhimmitude in the EU parliament?  Nothing could be more encouraging:

Derk Jan Eppink is a member of the European Parliament for Belgium (actually, Flanders) and a member of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group.

In the video  he has a few choice words to say to certain of his fellow MEPs, who have been a wee bit hypocritical in recent days with their prominent high-minded denunciations of Col. Muammar Gheddafi, the embattled dictator of Libya.

Mr. Eppink also has some entertaining photos of various EU notables caught in flagrante delicto — if not with their pants down, then with their lips puckered.

Watch it and tell me: if  indeed  patriotism is back in fashion, what stops us from having these jerks tarred and feathered and run out of town?

Cairo’s ‘garbage people,’ dumped again

First they drove them out of their homes and into the garbage, then they killed their pigs, and now they are burning their churches. In between they kidnapped their children, raped them and forcibly converted them to Islam.  Egypt’s remaining Christians are being systematically wiped out.

The ‘Zabaleen,’ the mostly Coptic Christians who famously live in and off of Cairo’s garbage, are reeling from a recent attack in which nine people from the neighborhood were killed.

On Tuesday evening, when hundreds or even a few thousand Cairenes attacked a mainly Coptic neighborhood they were not surprised to be met, in the streets and courtyards, and in the homes they invaded, by mountains of garbage. Some was scattered around outside, some was already wrapped up. Cloth, scrap metal, plastic and glass bottles, bits of rotting food. On Thursday morning the same sights greeted the 5,000 or so people – mainly Copts – who attended the funeral for the nine victims of the attack: males from the neighborhood, between the ages of 12 and 35. The cortege of vehicles crawled through the narrow streets and to the stone Samaan el-Kharaz Church at the top of the cliff.

Cairo’s Zabaleen neighborhood, last week. The residents are sure the army collaborated with the attackers.

One activist in the Tahrir Square movement, who is not Coptic, reported that the funeral was the first time since the Egyptian uprising began on January 25 that she sensed the revolution might fail.

The cliff is part of the Mokattam Ridge, as is Zabaleen (garbage collectors ), which is the name given both to this neighborhood and to the 66,000 souls (including some 2,000 Moslems ) who live and work here.

Last week they burned 59 churches in Ethiopia over claims of a torn Koran. Today the pathetic al Reuters report said it was a “little-known local Muslim group  preaching religious intolerance”- yeah right.

Farrakhan Slams Critics: ‘I Have Never Harmed One Jewish Person’

Minister Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam, lashed out Friday night at those who would label him anti-Semitic, saying the accusation reflects “an attitude of hatred” that members of the African-American community must avoid in order to unite and grow strong.

“I have never harmed one Jewish person. All I’ve done is tell the truth of what was involved in the slave trade,” Minister Farrakhan said. “But because I have been charged of being an anti-Semite, and because that charge has stuck … I have suffered rejection by my own people. I have never hated the Jewish people. If anything, I admire them.”

Minister Farrakhan, 77, made the remarks during an appearance on “The Bev Smith Show,” a nationally syndicated radio program broadcast live Friday night from the August Wilson Center, Downtown.

Kevin Rudd is a disgrace, demanding answers from stricken Japan, still trying to find thousands of its citizens, about something that poses zero danger to Australians:

Hearings on “extremism,” for example, would be unfocused, and unproductive, and would deflect attention from the proverbial elephant in the room, and what is demonstrably the most active and geographically widespread terrorist threat.
