“Moderate” Muslim Council of Britain: Muslims who say that women need not cover their hair are guilty of rejecting Islam

The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) said that not covering the face is a “shortcoming” and suggested that any Muslims who advocate being uncovered could be guilty of rejecting Islam.

Although the Telegraph is one of the UK papers that is usually prepared to address issues of Islamic intolerance, it should have at least pointed out that “guilty of rejecting Islam” means aposty and therefore the death penalty. In other words this ruling is effectively threatening all none observant Muslim women with death.

“Migrant Crisis Over”

At the Gates of Vienna the  Baron mentioned last night that the  Italian government had declared the “migrant crisis”  to be over. The Italians said the interdiction efforts undertaken in cooperation with Tunisia had been effective, and the flow of boats had stopped.

This assertion seemed somewhat premature and over-optimistic, and the events of the past twenty-four hours have borne that out. It seems the lull was in fact due to stormy weather.

NIS News, AMSTERDAM, 16/04/11 – MP Geert Wilders’ defence asked the district court in Amsterdam on Friday to prosecute Islam expert Bertus Hendriks for perjury. When the court refused this demand, the defence asked for the judges to be replaced.

Bram Moszkowicz, Wilders’ lawyer, wanted an investigation of perjury launched against Hendriks. The lawyer stated that Hendriks made a statement as witness in the case on Friday morning that was in conflict with an earlier commentary that he gave in De Pers newspaper on the now notorious ‘dinner’ on 3 May 2010. France calls for pushing migrants at sea back to Tunisia

Brussels – Boats from the European Union’s border patrol mission Frontex should send migrants found at sea straight back to Tunisia, rather than take them to Italy for identification, French Prime Minister Francois Fillon suggested on Thursday.

Italy has faced an influx of nearly 23,000 Tunisians since mid- January, when an autocratic regime in that country was toppled by popular protests. Most of them landed in Lampedusa, a tiny island straining under the pressure. (From M & C )
