Judgment: Despising the Torah or the New Testament

Question: “Does someone who insults the Torah or the New Testament engage in apostasy, given that these include some words of God?”

Answer: “It would be impermissible to disdain the Torah and New Testament if they contained the truth and the name of the exalted, such as the name of God the Most High. Whoever does this [i.e., disrespect the books] knowingly and by choice would be considered an apostate and would be despised by God. But [in fact] the Torah and New Testament do not have anything exalted in them. They are known to have been corrupted, so there is no problem disdaining them.

Ash-Shams[ad-Din] Ar-Ramli [d.1004 A.D.] said in [his book of fiqh] Nihayat al-Muhtaj: “It is impermissible to use respected books like those of hadith and fiqh for anal cleansing after defecation (al-istinja’,الأستنجاء ), but non-respected books like philosophy, Torah and the New Testament, which are known as corrupt and which do not contain exalted names, can be used for anal cleansing after defecation.”

Interestingly, Fatwa #40378 is no longer posted at the Encyclopedia of Fatwas; an announcement on its old page drably states that “There is no fatwa with this number.” The screen shot posted on my website, however, establishes that this fatwa was once posted.

According to the police those responsible for the car fires are 20-30 youths between the ages of 18 to 30. Despite wearing hoods to disguise their faces, most are already known to the police.

Arrest of Muslim crims causes “backlash”

Police in Gothenburg revealed on Wednesday that the torching of several cars in the suburb of Backa over the past few nights was in touched off due to a police action.

More than twenty cars were set alight in recent nights, including a police car and a security guard’s car and police now believe the fires are connected to an arrest made on Sunday night.

The arrest came after a patrol car followed two suspects fleeing on a motorcycle.

The motorcycle and the car collided in a roundabout and the two suspects were injured.

When police apprehended one of the two, he allegedly said, “This is not the last you hear of this”.

“We believe that was what started it. But when we are catching criminals red-handed and it is seen as police aggression, that makes me worried,” said Lars Klevensparr, head of the police in the greater Gothenburg area, to news agency TT.  (Vlad Tepes has more From The Local.Se)

CNN idiots: “It was not immediately known if the bus was targeted”

CNN’s story on yesterday’s terror attack on a school bus seems to go out of its way to downplay the seriousness of the episode.

Written already after Hamas accepted responsibility, it says:

The school bus was traveling in southern Israel near the Gaza border when it was hit by a type of anti-tank missile known as a Kornet, said Israeli military spokesman Capt. Barak Raz. The Kornet is a Russian-made anti-tank guided missile system that is thought to have a maximum range of 5 1/2 kilometers (3 1/2 miles).

The Arabic version of the communique said they attacked “infidel Zionist usurpers.”

Hamas brags that it targets civilians. Which means, according to the bizarre logic of “human rights groups,” there is no need to write reports and issue lots of press releases condemning them.

[IDF spokesperson] Leibovitch said it looked like “a direct hit.”

Overwhelmingly it is men who are fighting Islamic nutbags world wide, and frankly, women fought like hell for decades to emasculate men and reshape the relationship between the sexes. I’m sorry you don’t like the results. But the results you see, are the results you created. You, and women across the western world. A recap: When publicized and condemned by Afghan President Hamid Karzai and officials in Pakistan last week, Jones’s bonfire provided the occasion for the deadly riots in Afghanistan that (so far) have left a dozen people dead, including UN and NATO personnel. The instant response from the liberal establishment was condemnation — not of the rioters who were, as is their wont, murdering for Allah, but of Terry Jones. As I noted in this space Monday, Islamophiliacs from Time’s Joe Klein to Senators Harry Reid and Lindsey Graham blamed Jones for the rampage. Even General David Petraeus condemned the Koran burning as “hateful, intolerant, extremely disrespectful.” OnFace the Nation, Lindsey Graham said:

I wish we could find some way to hold people accountable. Free speech is a great idea, but we’re in a war. During World War II you had limits on what you could do if it inspired the enemy. Any time we can push back  here in American against actions like this that put our troops at risk, we ought to do it.

Sobering, isn’t it, to realize how quickly folks entrusted with upholding the Constitution are willing to dispense with its protections?

Two Pakis got married by phone, the woman never once having met the man. A German registrar refused to recognise the legitimacy of their marriage but has now been overruled by a court. Although German law requires marriage partners to be physically present with one another when the marriage takes place, foreign laws and customs should  prevail, the judges said.

Wife beating  is old stuff, just like  judicial discounts for honor killers and murderers of German citizens. New is the oriental marriage, which will add a whole lot of secret herbs and spices to the multicultural environment that has made us so much richer.

Germans can only marry personally and in presence of both marriage partners according to German law.

But that’s only for the local yokels who wear lederhosen and drink beer. Today, there are different  “customs and rights rules” (a.k.a. sharia)

So, if the  marriage contract is drawn up according to sharia, Islamic law, who could possibly object?

A registrar of births, marriages and deaths in Germany, who refused to witness a marriage contract over the telephone,  had to be properly instructed by the progressive judges of the  Landgericht (court) in Zweibrücken:

“The only thing relevant is whether the foreign law permits this form of marriage ceremony – the sharia  therefore overrides  German law”

He appeared on the Today Show this morning where he gave his line on having “doubts” about Obama’s birthplace. Then, later this afternoon, he was on CNN, where host Suzanne Malveaux was well-prepared to take him on. How does Trumps fare?

Rio Mass Murder: Muslim Opens Fire on Children’s School, 11 Dead, 20 Wounded, Suicide Note “References to Islamic fundamentalism”

I think it’s important to note that all of the headlines in the news reports in Portuguese call the murderer an Islamic suicide bomber and report that his letter refers to Islam, while none of the English outlets are reporting this critical clue.

“In recent months, she said, he appeared to have got closer to Islam.”

At least 11 people, mostly children, died Thursday and more that 15 were wounded when an armed man attacked a school in Realengo in the poor suburbs of Rio de Janeiro.

According to a preliminary police report, the attacker – a 24- year-old former student at the school – was among the dead after shooting himself in the head. He attacked Tasso da Silveira school, where some 400 students ages 9-14 were in classes. […]

Beltrami described the letter as ‘the words of a person who no longer believes in anything, full of sentences that made no sense andreferences to Islamic fundamentalism.’

Huh? He no longer believes in anything but made references to Islam?

Beltrami said the attacker was friendly as he went into the school, chatting with administrators and teachers and asking for permission to address the children. When he reached the third floor of the building, the suspect entered one of the classrooms and started to shoot at students, killing nine girls and one boy.

The attacker apparently committed suicide upon being chased by a police officer who had been called in by a student who managed to escape the buildingRoselane de Oliveira, a sister of the attacker, told Rio de Janeiro radio station Band News that the young man ‘was very strange.’

‘He had no friends, and he spent all his time on the Internet,’ she said.

In recent months, she said, he appeared to have got closer to Islam.

Police stressed, however, that there was no concrete evidence that the attack had either a religious or a political motive.  (No shiite!)
