One-in-ten Germans want a new Fuhrer, according to a new study

A SHOCKING new poll has revealed one-in-10 Germans want a new Fuhrer, who would use a “firm hand for the common good” and establish a “dictatorship in the national interest.”

The survey, conducted by the University of Leipzig, also revealed a huge number of German citizens are now extremely worried about immigration in their country – with special emphasis on Muslim immigrants.

A huge 34 per cent of the 2,240 respondents declared the country “dangerously overpopulated by foreigners”, with half saying they sometimes felt like a foreigner in their own country.

Four out of 10 even called for a blanket ban on Muslims travelling to Germany, while 11 per cent said Jewish people have too much influence.

In a worrying throwback to the 1930s and 1940s, 12 percent of respondents said German people are “superior” to other people.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has been blasted for her open-arms policy to the migrant crisis, with a huge number of those surveyed expressing concerns about the number of people admitted to the country.

Paki police detain Hindu school principal over ‘blasphemy’

Karachi, Pakistan – Pakistani police have detained a Hindu school principal in the southern town of Ghotki, after he was accused of committing blasphemy by a student, prompting riots by far-right protesters, police officials and Hindu community leaders say.

Notan Lal, the owner and principal of a private school in Ghotki, located about 425km north of Karachi, Pakistan’s largest city, was taken into “protective custody” on Sunday, senior police official Farrukh Lanjar told Al Jazeera.

“He is in protective custody and we are inquiring about what his role is [in the incident],” said Lanjar. “The student has also been questioned. The inquiry is under process.”

Blasphemy is a sensitive subject in Pakistan, where at least 75 people have been killed since 1990 in connection with allegations of the crime, according to an Al Jazeera tally.

The crime, which includes insulting the Quran (Islam’s holy book), attacking religious sites or insulting Prophet Muhammad, can carry a mandatory death penalty.

Burger King in South Africa is dropping the word “ham” from its menu, after adding bacon at some of its stores, in order to be respectful of Muslim customers.

On Friday the chain confirmed it has changed the names of three of its products. What was previously known as a “Double Spicy Hamburger” will now just be a “Double Spicy Burger”; the “Triple Hamburger with Cheese” becomes the “Triple Burger with Cheese”, and a “Hamburger King Jr” on the kids menu will now be just a “Kids Burger”.

“An exception has been made” doesn’t mean they treat animals well. Go to any Moslem country and you will find that dogs are terribly mistreated.

CNN)Bomb-sniffing dogs sent from the United States to its Middle Eastern ally Jordan are falling ill and dying due to poor treatment and negligence, a federal investigation has found.

A year-long evaluation by inspectors at the State Department found that at least 10 such dogs in Jordan died between 2008 and 2016 from medical problems. Even those who survive are suffering from “unhealthy conditions,” such as inadequate kennels, poor sanitation, and overwork.

Photos in the report, published last week, show emaciated dogs with ribs protruding from their sides. Their nails are overgrown, and their ears are home to ticks so engorged they have likely been feasting on the dogs for days. In some facilities, there weren’t any dog bowls — the handlers fed the dogs by simply throwing food on the floor.

A local butcher has refused to change a sign saying “not halal certified” despite being told it was “inciting hatred” against Muslims.

A butcher shop in South Australia has refused to change its shopfront signage despite being told it was “inciting hatred” towards Islamic people.

But the judgment panel took issue with the sign’s wording and the use of Australian animals, saying it gave the impression Islamic people might not be welcome inside the store.

Infidels are not welcome wherever Mohammedans have been able to settle in large numbers. Why would they want to go to an infidel butcher to buy non halal meat?

A complaint over the signage said it “pokes fun of a specific group of people based on religious belief”.

There’s no fun in Islam. Is that ‘judgement panel’ trying to enforce the sharia?

BAGHDAD—There was no other way out. After months under siege in the Syrian city of Raqqa, the Belgian Islamic State member Bilal al-Marchohi decided to escape. He fled his post as a religious police officer at the break of dawn on August 29, 2017, and ran with his wife and son to the closest enemy checkpoint. With his arms up, he handed himself over to the Kurdish militants in the hope of eventually being repatriated to Belgium. The family was immediately separated, and his spouse and child were transferred to a nearby Islamic State relatives camp.

Along with other jihadi comrades, al-Marchohi was driven to a prison near the city of Tabqa, where he was interrogated by U.S. officials on his role in the organization, his closest companions, and on weaponry manufacturing. The 23-year-old jihadi told them he used to attend the Friday prayers at De Koepel mosque in Antwerp, whose imam, Youssef, ended up joining the fight in Syria. Al-Marchohi waited until he turned 18 to cross the Turkish-Syrian border with his girlfriend and other acquaintances, first joining the Nusra Front and later deserting to the Islamic State, after internal clashes erupted within the armed opposition brigades.

U.S. soldiers took him to Kobani in northern Syria and from there to Erbil in Iraqi Kurdistan by helicopter, he recalls. “I was alone. I stayed there for two months and I went crazy. It was very hard. … Because of the strong lights, I was not able to sleep,” al-Marchohi told Foreign Policy in an exclusive interview. Now that President Trump has put a stop to negotiations with the Taliban, leaving the Afghanistan peace process in limbo, the Taliban have a message for the leader of the free world: “We can do this for one hundred years.”

At least that’s what the group’s lead negotiator, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, told RT during a recent interview. Trump shut down the nearly year-long talks after a Taliban car bombing killed an American soldier stationed in Kabul. The two sides were set to meet at Camp David, where they were reportedly on the cusp of signing a major agreement.

Taliban representatives insist their bombings are justified by the ongoing attacks by American and Afghan forces on Taliban-held territory, and that they are simply defending their land from a hostile occupier.

Stanikzai said he’s skeptical of Trump’s reasons for halting the talks, arguing that it conflicted with a statement from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who, during a TV appearance the following day, bragged that the US had killed “over 1,000 Taliban” over the previous ten days, even as negotiations progressed.
