Nothing, nada, zero, zilch came of the second Islam-conference in Berlin.

An orgy of Muslims demands and more demands, the latest was a demand for strict guidelines of at least 30% “positive reporting” about Islam in German media outlets

Good one, that. Self censorship is not enough. Our Muhammedan masters would have us do their propaganda for them too.

For the rest, the government and the German news agencies were obviously too embarrassed to release anything at all, because it all ended in Nowhere land.

And yet, the Islamic publications celebrate it, because Germans haven’t told them to piss off, Germans didn’t tell the Muslims “we won’t have this- or we can’t allow any more of that..”

* Dialog? with these guys?

So everything continues as always, Muslims will get their welfare, benefits, free schooling and few of them will be evicted, even if they’re illegal or involved in criminal activities. The Germans will continue to allow the Muslims to build mosques and madrassahs and they can preach their hatred like they always do.

As an attempt to institutionalize dialogue between the Muslim community and the German government, the Islam Conference has a long way to go. But that dialogue is even possible now is progress, argues DW’s Baha Güngor.

Launched last year by Interior Minister Wolfgang Schäuble, this was the second Islam Conference (DIK) to take place in Berlin.

The second round of talks between the German government and Muslim representatives on promoting the integration process of Germany’s 3.5 million Muslims ended without any specific results in Berlin on Wednesday.
“We all agreed that this process is right and it is moving ahead well. We are all determined to continue,” said German Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble at a news conference, joined by Muslim representatives.
He pointed out that the German Islam Conference is part of a “three-year dialogue process”, warning against expecting any quick results.
Schaeuble met earlier in the day with 15 Muslim representatives who were carefully chosen by the German government last year.
The minister’s remarks were criticized by the chairman of the Central Council of Muslims Ayel Ayyub Koehler who said the Islam conference lacked clear goals.
“This cannot go on like this, we cannot debate aimlessly. We have eye concrete goals,” Koehler added.
He called for initiating a “road map” which would speed up the Muslim integration process talks.

FORT DIX, N.J. —  Three brothers charged in the alleged Fort Dix terror plot have been living illegally in the U.S. for more than 23 years and were accepted as Americans by neighbors and friends who had no idea they would scheme to attack military bases and slaughter GIs.

A federal law enforcement source confirmed to FOX News that the three — Dritan “Anthony” or “Tony” Duka, 28; Shain Duka, 26; and Eljvir “Elvis” Duka, 23 — also accumulated 19 traffic citations, but because they operated in “sanctuary cites,” where law enforcement does not routinely report illegal immigrants to homeland security, none of the tickets raised red flags.

The brothers entered the United States near Brownsville, Texas, in 1984, the source said, which would put their ages at 1 to 6 when they crossed the border.

The source said there is no record of them entering by way of a regular border crossing, so they are investigating whether they were smuggled into the country.

The brothers plus three other suspects in the alleged plot — Mohamad Ibrahim Shnewer, 22; Serdar Tatar, 23; and, Agron Abdullahu, 24 — were ordered held without bail for a hearing Friday.

Five were charged with conspiracy to kill U.S. military personnel; the sixth, Abdullahu, was charged with aiding and abetting illegal immigrants in obtaining weapons.

Four of the arrested men were born in the former Yugoslavia, one was born in Jordan and one came from Turkey, authorities said. Three were in the United States illegally; two had green cards allowing them to stay in this country permanently; and the sixth is a U.S. citizen.

Federal investigators are now checking whether the latter three lied on their immigration paperwork to remain in the United States.

One drove a cab, three were roofers. Another worked at a 7-Eleven and a sixth at a supermarket. Their alleged plot to attack Fort Dix was foiled by another blue-collar worker: a video store clerk.

The foreign-born Muslims are accused of planning to assault the Army base and slaughter scores of U.S. soldiers with automatic weapons and rocket-propelled grenades.

The unidentified clerk is being credited with tipping off authorities in January 2006 after one of the suspects asked him to transfer a video to DVD that showed 10 men shooting weapons at a firing range and calling for jihad, prosecutors said.

“If we didn’t get that tip,” said U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie, “I couldn’t be sure what would happen.” FBI agent J.P. Weis called the clerk the “unsung hero” of the case.

Authorities said there was no direct evidence connecting the men to any international terror organizations such as Al Qaeda. But several of them said they were ready to kill and die “in the name of Allah,” prosecutors said in court papers.

* Once again authorities prefer to remain deliberately stupid. It has to Al Qaeda, nothing else will do. That these turkeys could be inspired by the Koran doesn’t even show on the radar.  What the hell has to happen before our minders smell the coffee?

BRITISH Prime Minister Tony Blair intends to create a global foundation to foster “greater understanding” between the three “Abrahamic faiths” of Christianity, Judaism and Islam after he leaves Downing Street.

* I can just about smell the ‘Kumbayahhh….’

Mr Blair, who will announce his timetable for resignation today, is expected to make the project the main focus of his energies when he leaves office this northern summer.

A member of his tight-knit inner-circle of advisers confirmed yesterday that Mr Blair is looking to “set up some sort of interfaith organisation”, saying: “He sees this as where the action is and nobody else is really doing it.”

The foundation, which will be based in London and modelled closely on that of former US president Bill Clinton, will also provide him with a platform to pursue other issues including global warming, African development and the Middle East peace process.

* Clinton, Blair: That means Peanut Carter can’t be far off…

But friends dismissed speculation that Mr Blair was preparing to become President George W. Bush’s peace envoy in the Middle East – or even take over from Paul Wolfowitz, the embattled President of the World Bank.

“He is not looking for any formal job like that,” said one close ally. “Obviously, he has a certain skill set from his work in Northern Ireland and he could perform a mediation role, but it would depend on what exactly was up for negotiation.”

Instead, the interfaith project will attempt to foster religious – rather than political – harmony in the Middle East and elsewhere across the world, including Britain, where rising tensions with militant Islam have provided the backdrop to many of the worst moments of his 10 years in office.

Mr Blair, who was enthusiastically reading the Koran even before the September 11, 2001, attacks on the US, said recently: “The tragedy is that as Christians, Jews and Muslims we are all Abrahamic religions. We regard ourselves as children of Abraham but we have fought for so long.”

In a speech in 2006 he referred to a woman protesting about the Pope’s recent visit to Turkey holding a poster which stated that “Jesus was a prophet but not the son of God”. This, he said, was “elevating the placard to an altogether higher plane of theology”.

He added: “Most Christians are hugely surprised to be told that the Koran reveres Jesus as a prophet. Many Jews, Muslims and Christians are entirely ignorant of the rich Abrahamic heritage we share in common.”

Although aides acknowledge that the new project may face resistance from Muslims who loathe him for his role as an ally to Mr Bush and in the invasion of Iraq, Mr Blair believes that he can appeal to moderate Islam.

Last year he met Pope Benedict XVI to discuss “how best interfaith dialogue can help with conflict resolution and how the moderate voices of the world’s main religions need to work together”.

Funding for the new organisation is expected to come from wealthy donors in the US and the Arab world, as well as Britain. But advisers insist that preparations are still at an early stage.

West should not fear facing “radical” Islam: Blair

British Prime Minister Tony Blair says a decade in office has taught him that the West should not be afraid of standing by its values in facing up to radical Islam.
“The West must show that it believes in its own values,” Blair told journalists from several European newspapers, including yesterday’s edition of the Sueddeutsche Zeitung of Germany, as he prepares to announce his departure from Downing Street.

“We must show the Muslim world that we let our values apply to everyone. That’s why Guantanamo (Bay) is an issue for people,” Blair said, in comments translated from German.

“But we are also on the defensive because we are not energetic in contradicting the opinion of radical Muslims who want to convince us that terrorism somehow has something to do with our behaviour.”

* And what have you done about that, Toni?

Blair has long been in favour of binding predominantly Muslim Turkey to the European Union to create a bridge between Europe and the Muslim world. He conceded that Turkey has a long way to go before it is ready to join the EU, but said it would be a “disgrace” if Europe’s club of nations went back on its promises to the Turks.

“I firmly believe that Europe should offer a place to Turkey. But I also know that beforehand complicated problems must be resolved.”

“Most importantly,” the Prime Minister continued, “is the fundamental hostility at the heart of Islam toward the non-Mulsim world. Until this fact is appreciated, sound policy with respect to Islam will be impossible. We are in a struggle for our lives that can only be won through great sacrifice and hardship and the jettisoning of many widely-held but misleading conceptions of the world. We are called today to the banner of our forbears who defended the European heritage against centuries of Muslim attack. With the help of Almighty God, we shall make them proud!”

CNN Covers up Death Cult Mickey Mouse Outrage

The outrage of the day is the way CNN tried to cover up the Hamas Mickey Mouse story; Glenn Beck was played for a fool by his CNN producers, and he talked about it on his radio show today:

With the bright glare of publicity fully upon them, the genocidal lunatics of Hamas have decided that their brilliant idea of using Mickey Mouse to preach Islamic supremacism was actually stupid: Hamas TV drops militant Mickey Mouse.

A program using a Mickey Mouse-like character to urge Palestinian children to fight Israel and the West and work for world Islamic domination has been pulled off Hamas’s television station for “review,” Palestinian Information Minister Mustafa Barghouti said Wednesday.

Barghouti said the use of the cartoon character in such a role represented a “mistaken approach” to the Palestinian struggle against Israeli occupation.

* In other words, they are sorry to have been caught…

A “mistaken approach” means that they revealed a bit too much of their true selves with this display of depravity and megalomania. Their goals remain as stated by Death Cult Mickey—the destruction of Israel and the Islamic domination of the world. And that’s not my spin; that’s straight from the mouse’s mouth.

It’s also important to point out that this kind of degenerate child abuse by Palestinians is absolutely NOT unusual. We’ve been documenting this stuff for years at LGF. The only thing different in this case is the mouse.

CNN Editor Equates “Terrorism” With “Freedom Fight,” Insulting All Coalition Forces

You would think that a worldwide news operation would recognize and apply standards and definitions for the reporting of a “terrorist” and “terrorist act.” We appreciate and work with many outstanding reporters and commentators worldwide who certainly have no problem. CNN apparently has a problem, as indicated in an interview of “Senior Editor for Arab Affairs,” Octavia Nasr, by a student news reporter for CNN Student News. Read this excerpt:

CARL AZUZ, CNN STUDENT NEWS REPORTER: WordCentral.com defines terrorism as the use of a violent or destructive act to achieve a goal. Why is it so difficult for the international community to agree on a definition for terrorism?

Well, I think for one, terrorism for one person is a freedom fight for another. And you know, the Arab world always talks about this, as they say the so-called terrorism, because they believe that – in Iraq, for example, many people are struggling against occupation, so in many ways they support that struggle against occupation but then they draw a line between those who are struggling. They want a free Iraq, they want the occupiers out and those who are pushing the envelope and crossing the line by terrorizing people. And when we say terrorizing people, in a sense, it’s going after the innocent civilians, the unsuspecting civilians, taking hostages, beheading them. Committing acts that are totally unacceptable, even by the standards of a freedom fight. So, you know, if you think about it, “terrorism” is a subjective term depending on which side you are on.

Amazing that Nasr doesn’t appear to know the difference between U.S., Iraqi, and other coalition forces on one hand, and Al Qaida and Iraqi terrorists on the other. If, after all the beheadings, kidnappings, and suicide bombings perpetrated in Iraq by Zarqawi and Iraqi gangs, Nasr really believes that terrorism is a “freedom fight” by another name, she is not qualified to edit or direct other reporters. And it’s insulting that she uses the pejorative “occupiers” to describe coalition forces, definitely not the objective, unbiased term for use by a world-class news operation.

Al-Muhajiroun is a group which advocates the control of society based on the rule of a Universal Caliphate, and ruled by Islamic law, the sharia. As a member said “we do not seek to coexist with other religions in America, we seek to dominate them”.

“We’d talk about the suffering of the Muslims all over the world,” Butt tells Simon. “We were very well-versed in the Koran, in the verses of the Koran, in the sayings of the Prophet and show that how it was permissible for people to go around killing innocent men, women and children.”

“You would explain to them why it’s permissible to kill innocent men, women and children?” Simon asks.

“Well, a better way to put it is, we would take away the innocence from the person so they were no longer innocent men, women and children,” Butt explains.

“So, men, women and children would become non-innocents?” Simon asks.

“Become non-innocent and hence, combatants and allowed to be targeted,” Butt says. More here

The al- Muhajiroun network is insidious and international. They are here in Queens, New York, Baltimore Maryland and Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The American people should be as familiar with the term al-Muhajiroun as they are with al-qaeda. There were another four busted in the UK, all al-Muhajiroun.  They pose the same mortal threat to us.

Crawley plotters are linked to bomber Mohammed Sidique Khan

Evidence which helped convict the Crawley bombers came from Junaid Babar – a self-confessed terrorist who did a deal after he fell into the hands of the US.

According to his witness statement “Q” sent Mohammed Sidique Khan (MSK) – the leader of the 7/7 bombers – and Omar Khyam – the leader of the Crawley plotters – to Pakistan.

Read it all ……… There is no lack of funds or willing participants and donors here;

He became one of the network’s star fundraisers. Over the next couple of years, he says he raised $300,000.

His biggest contributors? “Doctors. People who were businessmen. Professional people basically who wanted to donate substantial amounts of money,” Butt tells Simon.

Butt says he openly told them he was raising funds for Jihad.

And he says he didn’t just solicit from the professional classes: he also targeted criminals, drug dealers who were told that their activities would be cleansed for a percentage of their earnings.

What kind of percentage?

The drug dealers were told the 20 percent would legitimize them in Islamic eyes and that the rest of their income was, in Butt’s words, “purified.”

“As long as the drugs weren’t being sold to other Muslims. They were being sold to non-Muslims. In fact, we saw it as a tactic of war to keep, you know, one of the people that I sat with said, ‘Well, let’s keep poisoning the non-Muslim community in the West. Let’s feed their addiction,'” Butt adds.

“Twenty percent,” says Butt.

Hassan Butt was a big time recruiter for Al-Muhajiroun, aka “The Network” in the 60 Minutes piece.

Butt parted ways with al-Muhajiroun (itself a breakaway from HT) and its founder Omar Sheikh Bakri because they supported the Islamic idea of a “covenant of security,” by which Muslims in Britain are forbidden from any type of military action in Britain. Butt believed that military action against Britain would be unwise for the practical reason that it would jeopardise the protection “Londonistan” was offering radical Muslims, but he could not tolerate the position that such action was un-Islamic. Butt was with the the world’s first al-qaeda supergrass (informant) Mohammed Junaid Babar (whose key testimony lead to the conviction of the London train bombings) of in Pakistan. Hassan Butt, who claims he was a recruiter for Al-Muhajiroun (AM) He (Babar) described what he said was his education at a New York college(St Johns Univ) and his work as an Islamic organizer in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn (Islamic Society of Bay Ridge)and Jamaica, Queens. Particularly when out of Butt’s earshot, he spoke articulately about Islam, about Muslim issues around the world, and about his own political transformation. ‘I’m not a New Yorker,” he said. ”I’m a Muslim.”

Seven troops killed in Thai south

NARATHIWAT, Thailand (AFP) – Seven soldiers were killed Wednesday in a bomb attack by separatist insurgents in Thailand’s restive south, military and police said.

The soldiers were returning from a training session in an army pick-up truck when insurgents remotely detonated a 20-kilogramme (45-pound) roadside bomb near a school in Narathiwat province.

The military report into the incident said that insurgents opened fire after the bomb exploded to ensure all the troops were dead, before snatching the soldiers’ M16 rifles.

Police in the area said the militants had scattered spikes on the road to prevent rescue workers from reaching the scene of the blast, which left a two-metre (six-foot) wide crater.

The soldiers were part of a military programme that was supposed to work to improve relations with residents of the region, police added.

Say Islam is a Religion of peace or…

NEW CITY, N.Y. — The county jail where a Christian minister handed out anti-Islamic cartoons announced it will hire an imam for its Muslim inmates.

The Rockland County Jail also said it will provide religiously appropriate food.

Rockland Undersheriff Thomas Guthrie said Tuesday that the imam will work one day a week, joining the jail’s priest and rabbi.

The Christian chaplain, the Rev. Teresa Darden Clapp, was suspended with pay last month after inmates complained she was passing out anti-Islam booklets.

In the cartoon panel stories, a tract titled “Men of Peace?” said Islamic fundamentalists who commit terrorist acts are not “bad Muslims” but “very good Muslims” who act in accordance with their religion. Another tract, titled “Allah Has No Son,” said Allah is not God, Muhammad was no prophet, and the Quran is not the word of God. Both stories end with people being convinced Islam is false. In one, a Muslim converts to Christianity.

Local Muslims have called for Clapp’s dismissal, and the county requested an independent investigation.

Clapp has not commented public about the controversy and has not responded to messages seeking comment.

A Muslim in a NY prison objected to a tract that was critical of Islam,
a tract that came from a Christian chaplain, allegedly. The Rockland
County Muslim community has taken up the cause, and has been
briefed by the prison officials. This seems backwards though, because
if any community is briefed, it ought to be the Christian community.
The reason is the US Constitution safeguards the free expression of
religion, but there is no right outlined whereby anyone is safeguarded
from disagreeable religious literature.

Now the NY Human Rights Commission is looking into the matter. Why
is that? Adrian Morgan (aka Giraldus Cambrensis) at Western Resistance explains:

If only unintentionally, such Muslim ‘representatives’ actually partake in a two-pronged attack upon Western values. One prong of this front against freedom is made up of terrorists like Bouyeri and others who support death for Islam’s critics, while the political Muslims intimidate government, media and educational bodies to remove any hostility against Islam, disguising their mission to erode Western values under the cover of ‘protecting religious minorities.’
If the commission, being politically correct, decides that all literature
is to be vetted so Muslims are not offended, all prisons in America will
be safe for the propagation of Islam and Prislam (Prison Islam).

Muslim gangs, aka support groups, will grow, and Muslims will readily “revert” (convert) others into Prislam, especially when gang and peer pressure are applied.

None will be converted out of Islam or Prislam since nary
a word critical of Islam will be allowed in prison.

Prisons in America will
become taxpayer-supported mosques and madrasas, which they
are already in danger of becoming. Prisons will be island countries
under Sharia law dotting the American landscape among the purplish
wavy sheaths of grain, and a factory that puts more and more radical
Muslims back on the streets of America.

Ironically, if any literature ought to be restricted, it ought to be
material that promotes the fighting and killing of others.
The Koran-based material that Muslim chaplains hand out in prison
is likely far from respectful of Christianity and Judaism. This is so
despite any Muslims protestations that Islam is a religion of peace
and tolerance. That last bit of Islamic propaganda doesn’t even pass
the laugh test anymore.

The Koran itself, much less derivative material, is very caustic
toward Christians and Jews, and promotes fighting, killing, warfare
and hegemony over pagans, Christians and Jews, and ought to be
banned (see the Calcutta Petition) . That the Koran is effective
in causing fights, murders, terrorism and war is plainly evident
to anyone who reads newspapers and history books–unless that
person is willfully blind and wants to believe something else, which
is his right, of course.

Prislam (Prison Islam) is known for being exceptionally
fundamentalistic and radical. Islam is very popular in US prisons,
and indeed prisons around the world, and is worrying to prison
officials. In Europe many prisons hold 50+% Muslims, even
though Muslims are only a small percent of the population–
all thanks to the Koran’s insidious influence.

The NY Human Rights Commission is way out of line for even
agreeing to look into this matter, and the jail warden is way out
of line for suspending the chaplain. That’s because issues of whether
Allah is a moon-god and a demon (Deuteronomy 32:17; Psalms 106:37),
or whether Yahweh is Trinitarian, are matters of belief, and as such
are beyond the purview of their office to assess or scrutinize. What
are they going to decide on next–that tracts promoting baptism
by sprinkling ought to be banned because they might offend Baptists?
Or that tracts arguing against Transubstantiation must be banned
because they might offend Catholics? If the Human Right Commission
or the warden restrict religious literature in jail or elsewhere–even
indirectly, this ought to go straight to the US Supreme Court on the fast track.

MILAN, Italy — “In prison you only think about waking up, cleaning your cell, and praying,” said a Moroccan inmate serving time in a prison on the outskirts of this city.

During a recent visit to the Bollate prison, 25-year-old Hakimi Abd Elfattah said he was a non-observant Muslim before being incarcerated, but “there’s nothing to do in here, so I learn a little of the Quran.”

With no trained imams or Muslim chaplains working in the Bollate prison, the inmate offering guidance on Islam’s holy book also is a prisoner.

In contrast to the Westernized Elfattah, self-designated imam Arafat Mahmoud sports a skull cap on his shaved head, a thick beard, and refuses to shake hands with women.

A group claiming to be holding the BBC correspondent Alan Johnston today demanded that British authorities release the radical Muslim cleric Abu Qatada.

The BBC is studying a video tape and audio message released overnight in which a little-known Islamist group, the Army of Islam, claims responsibility for kidnapping the corporation’s Gaza correspondent.

* Names of Islamic terrorist groups are smoke and mirrors,- they all read the same Koran and all subscribe to the same criminal ideology. It is irrelevant what they call themselves.

They are understood to contain a demand for Britain to release Qatada, detained under UK anti-terror legislation.

While they are understood not to contain any “proof of life” images of Johnston, they do include a photograph of his BBC identity card.

Last month a different jihadist group issued a still unverified claim that Johnston had been executed.

The BBC declined to comment on the contents of the tape, which was delivered to the Gaza office of Al-Jazeera television, until they had been studied fully.

But the audio message, which was uploaded to a website used by al-Qa’eda propagandists, contains the first demand to have been publicly aired since Johnston was taken from the streets of Gaza eight weeks ago.

“We demand that Britain free our prisoners, particularly the honourable Sheikh Abu Qatada al Filistini,” a voice said the audio recording.

“We have not forgotten our prisoners in other infidel countries, to whom we say: ‘Free our prisoners or we will retaliate in the same manner without discriminating’.”

* Once again: For Muslims collective punishment is all in good order. If infidels discriminate against Muslims in the same fashion all hell breaks lose…

Qatada, who denies any link to al-Qa’eda, was arrested 10 months after Britain tightened anti-terror rules in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks in 2001.

Since then he has fought a five-year-long legal battle against deportation to Jordan, during which the British Government has called him a “significant international terrorist”.

Like many residents of Jordan he has strong Palestinian roots. While al-Qa’eda has failed to develop strong links in the Palestinian communities of Gaza and the West Bank, it is feared the Army of Islam might be an attempt by the group to establish a foothold there.

The Army of Islam broke cover in Gaza for the first time last year when it claimed joint responsibility for the cross-border raid that led to the capture of Corporal Gilad Shalit, an Israeli soldier defending the Gaza perimeter fence.

Mohammed al-Madhoun, a political adviser to the Hamas prime minister Ismail Haniyeh, said the demands made in the audio recording were the same that the group presented privately to the Palestinian government.

“These demands are beyond the boundaries of the Palestinian area and I do not think they are do-able,” Mr Madhoun said.

He said the British Government had been made aware of the captors’ demands but he did not expect Britain to meet them.

Richard Makepeace, the British Consul General in East Jerusalem, met Mr Haniyeh yesterday to discuss the case. It was the second such meeting since the kidnapping.

Mr Madhoun added: “Once again we are demanding that Johnston’s captors release him immediately because every day that passes with him in captivity brings more harm to the Palestinian cause and to the image of our people.”

Mr Haniyeh said last week that his aides in the Palestinian government were seeking a possible meeting with people close to those involved in the kidnapping.

There have been precious few leads about the reporter since he was abducted at gunpoint as he drove home from work.

It had been thought the kidnapping was the work of criminal elements from the Dogmush clan, a large Gazan family with scant respect for the law and a large private arsenal of weapons.

But it is possible they may have sold him on to the highest bidder, possibly a jihadist group.

The Palestinian leadership has repeatedly said that it believes Johnston to be alive.

He was the only western resident journalist in Gaza and was within days of completing a three year tour of duty when he was abducted.

He was charged with three counts of illegal possession or distribution of a machine gun and conspiracy to violate machine gun statutes. A superseding indictment unsealed yesterday, charges ABUELAWI and seven others with machine gun charges and charges of conspiracy, lying to the FBI and other firearms violations.

“The other seven defendants identified in the indictment are identified as: Thaer Abde SUMAD, 23, of Florissant, MO, Abdikarin WARSAME, 28, Charley M. HUNT Jr., 45, Darnell T. THORNTON, 25, and Hussein Ali NURE, 29, all from Jennings, MO, Mohamed JUDEH, 20, of Maryland Heights and Otha L. BAKER, 20, of St. Louis. If found guilty of the charges, the men face 5-10 years in prison.”

Jihadists are stockpiling weaponry and explosives via secret cells. Mosque leaders are cooperating with them.

“In the case of ABUELAWI and the other seven defendants, the men met at gas stations located in north St. Louis between August 2006 and January 2007 to buy or transfer automatic weapons and explosives. In the original documents charging Abuelawi, Sumad is quoted in a meeting with ABUELAWI and a government informer as saying that ‘he wants to buy as many explosives as possible because, “we’re going to war.”‘”

HE deputy spiritual leader of Sheik Taj Din al-Hilali has told his students that it is “obligatory” for all Muslims to engage in jihad if an Islamic country is under attack, even if it means killing the enemy’s children.

Sheik Shady Suleiman, a youth leader at Lakemba Mosque in Sydney’s southeast, told his students in a one-hour Arabic and English lecture that it would be “self defence” to kill children who were attacking them in battle.

Muslim leaders yesterday attacked the 29-year-old cleric, who has a substantial following in Sydney, and accused him of delivering a message contrary to that of Prophet Mohammed who said children should not be killed in war. Prominent Sydney-based imam Khalil Shami said Sheik Shady’s message was “dangerous” because it was open to being misconstrued by young Muslims.

“It is very dangerous,” he said. “Because … he puts in their minds that they have to do this, and he prepares them for something wrong for sure.” The nation’s leading spiritual Muslim woman Aziza Abdel-Halim said Sheik Shady’s message diverged from Islamic teachings that prohibit the killing of children.

In a lecture titled Rulings on Performing Jihad, obtained by The Australian, Sheik Shady differentiates between defensive and offensive jihad and quotes the Prophet by saying anyone who fights to defend their land, soul, and wealth was considered a “Shahid” (martyr). “If attackers or invaders want to invade a Muslim country or attack a Muslim country then it’s obligatory on every Muslim … to fight and protect the country,” he says.

Sheik Shady says while the Prophet condemned the killing of children, “if they are involved then you have to stop them”.

* He didn’t say anything about shaheeds hiding behind women and children when they attack infidels?

“If you have a child carrying a knife and coming to you, or a sword and coming to kill you in the middle of the battle, they (the fighters) are going to look at him and say ‘the Prophet said not to touch him’ – no, that’s wrong.”

Sheik Shady, who is lecturing in Britain, yesterday defended his message on jihad, saying it was a part of a series of lectures delivered in 2002, before the Iraq war – and focused on the collection of the traditions of Mohammed – although a copy of the lecture appears on his website dated May 2004.

He said the lecture was delivered to 60 young men who were advanced in Islamic studies and would not take it out of context and was “not an open lecture”, despite being on his website.

* If caught, lie and deny. Standard procedure…

“When I said children, I did not mean, of course, if you’re going to get a five- or seven-year-old coming to attack you, you can stop him,” he said yesterday.

“I was talking about self-defence. If you get attacked by someone, then you have the right to defend yourself. It doesn’t mean you go kill them, especially if it’s someone young.”

* Muslims always claim ‘self-defence’- especially when they blow up women and children in Israel…

* Don’t you think its about time we should be defending ourselves?

Sheik Shady said that while it was obligatory for all Muslims to defend an Islamic nation under attack, there were no Muslim countries living under Sharia law that were currently under attack.

* No arrest warrant has yet been issued for Sheik Shady Sulaiman. Good name, by the way…
