Indeed, who could be more qualified than Graham E. Fuller, a former CIA spook, to lay our fears to rest? The CIA is, after all, an institution that has been consistently wrong on everything. Fortunately, it is now headed by John Brennan, a Muslim convert. (sarc/off)

Fuller, in typical fashion, tells us that the caliph is just like the pope; and the institution “can be as bad or as good as the individual who heads it.” Fine. Everything else can be explained away with a bit of anti- imperialist claptrap, and there is plenty more of that before he sanctimoniously closes with “the Muslim quest to overcome the colonial legacy and its borders — in the search for some kind of greater political, economic, cultural and religious coherence — will endure.”

Pathetic PuffHo trash. But for PuffHo readers, this is as good as it gets. They are grateful for Fuller’s “historical perspective”.

Geneva: The Islamic State’s execution of 13 Sunni Muslim clerics last month in Mosul was a move  to silence moderate voices among Iraq’s Sunnis, and deserves greater attention, the top United Nations expert on religious freedom said.

“Here a Sunni movement is executing Sunni religious leaders. That should make us think,” said Heiner Bielefeldt, the UN’s special rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief. “It’s important to focus more attention on these particular killings, because here we are not talking about Sunnis versus [Shiites]. This is a very clear case of atrocities committed against their own people, against religious leaders from Sunni Islam who probably have a less simplistic understanding of what Islam means.”

Christian Schoolgirls Gang-Raped and Shot by Boko Haram

A video released by Islamist militants Boko Haram in May claimed to show around 100 girls kidnapped from a Nigerian school. The group’s leader, Abubakar Shekau, said the girls would be held until all imprisoned Islamic militants had been freed.

Boko Haram said the girls have converted to Islam.

The girls recited the first chapter of the Koran in the video.

The kidnapped Christian schoolgirls in Nigeria are being gang-raped and shot by Boko Haram Islamists.

One of the latest revelation in the ordeal of over 250 abducted Chibok girls and another 250 Christian girls abducted in villages near Chibok was that they are being gang raped and shot for being Christians. This was the summary of the revelations by Senator Zanna representing Born Central Senatorial District According to an interview he granted an online media, the senator said that “.Actually the information I’m getting, some of them are very disturbing. Although I don’t want to mention but they are just raping the girls on camera and even showing them on video, releasing it to the public”.

“Somebody told me that they were shown being raped, and in turn, it is the girl who was raped that came out kneeling down and begging the man to be patient. Do you know the reason why? They said when they rape them they shoot them. Therefore the girl after being raped, she curled down to the man, kneeling down and begging him to please be patient. So disturbing”.

Senator Khalifa Ahmed Zanna, though a Muslim, was previously accused by former governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff of being a Boko Haram sponsor who sponsors people outside the country for trainings in terrorism, but since this Chibok abducted started, he has shown great concerns over the fate of the abducted girls even more than the Federal Government and had almost on weekly basis released information that might aid in the release of the girls to the security agents.

Thailand: Military says peace in south a “national priority”

Thailand’s military government is not up to the task. Few Buddhists in the military understand Islam, and it certainly doesn’t help that some of the generals in the Thai army are Muslims. So before any action can be taken, their obstruction needs to be removed.  Seeking peace may be a noble task and it normally works when reasonable parties are involved. Baroness Warsi said she had personally championed the campaign to combat anti-Muslim hatred.

“It is important we fight this new form of hate crime,” she told the Lords at question time.

“But we have been here before. There have been moments in our history when we haven’t been entirely comfortable with a faith community, when we have questioned the loyalty of faith communities whether that’s been the Jewish community or the Catholic community.

Koranimals are not Jews.  Last time we checked they murdered Jews & Christians and  they have a genocide planned for them. Its in their unholy books!

“But it’s been our trust in our institutions and our values that has got us through it and we will get through it again.”

There will be speed bumps on the road to the caliphate.
