Muslim leaders have taken a swipe against police in a run-in that has exposed failures in the effort to stop Australians joining the Syrian jihad.

The Australian National Imams Council has taken the unusual step of reprimanding the head of the NSW Counter Terrorism Squad, Assistant Commissioner Peter Dein, and requesting a meeting with his superiors because of ”offensive and provocative” comments he made about the Syrian conflict reaching Australian shores.

Whats unusual about Muslims screaming bloody murder when infidels point out that they are waging jihad?

Mr Dein told The Australian the Muslim community was being ”very passive about the problem” and senior leaders were not doing enough to discourage young Australian men from joining the jihad.

They fuel it. That’s their religion.

The war within Iraq, like the war within Syria, has no end. It may die down, then flare up. But Sunni Arabs, though they are far fewer in Iraq than the Shi’a Arabs, are more aggressive, and will not stop their attacks until they manage — and they won’t manage — to subdue the Shi’a. And in Syria, where the Alawites are fighting for their lives, they, and the Shi’a (who pretend the Alawites are Shi’a) of Hezbollah and Iran who support them, will never yield control of the big cities — Aleppo, Damascus, Homs — even if they allow the northeastern part of the country to wallow in the ISIS-and-Al-Nusra generated violence. And thiis has consquences for Sunni-Shi’a relations elsewhere, including Lebanon, Yemen, Kuwait, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, where Sunni hostility only deepens toward the Shi’a and some Shi’a, as in Pakistan, decide that even though they are greatly outnumbered, they have to fight back.

What’s wrong with that? How are non-Musliims damaged if Muslims, anywhere, engage in internecine warfare?  Was the Iran-Iraq War a good thing or a bad thing?

It is simply unfathomable that year after year, as  Obama bolstered the misnamed “Arab Spring” – which was, in fact, the rise of political Islam – our more naive progressive-left Jewish interlocutors kept telling us that Obama does not support political Islam even as he sent money and heavy weaponry to the Muslim Brotherhood, the parent organization of both Hamas and al-Qaeda.

Melanie Phillips has a recent piece in Commentary entitled, ‘Jesus Was a Palestinian’: The Return of Christian Anti-Semitism, in which she makes the case that Israel is beginning to bleed American Evangelical support due to the concerted propaganda efforts and outreach of the Arab-Muslim world, particularly those Arab Christians who agree with Arab Muslims that Palestinian Jews are the Devil, and who coordinate with the “liberal” protestant sects, such as the Presbyterian Church.

Schools will be made to “actively promote British values”, Michael Gove said today, as it was confirmed that five Birmingham schools have been placed into special measures in the wake of the “Trojan Horse” allegations.

London: Conservative Muslim school leaders in Britain’s second city, Birmingham, conducted an “organised campaign” to impose faith-based ideology on their pupils, Education Secretary Michael Gove says.

Clashes between Muslim governors and non-Muslim senior staff had led to a “culture of fear and intimidation” in which some head teachers felt forced to leave their jobs, leaving those remaining free to impose a narrow curriculum, the minister said on Monday.

Mr Gove was reporting the findings of two investigations into allegations of an Islamist plot to take over the leadership of state-funded schools in Birmingham with the intention of imposing a religious agenda.

The claims renew concerns about the risk to young people in Britain of Islamic extremism, and expose a rift at the heart of the government about how to tackle religious radicalism.

However, some community leaders in Birmingham, a former industrial centre which has one of Britain’s largest Muslim communities, said the row was baseless and driven by Islamophobia.

It is idiotic for the enemedia to question the facts by allowing unnamed “community leaders” to lie and deny the fuggly reality.
