Two Katyusha rockets fired by militants in the Gaza Strip exploded Tuesday evening in Be’er Sheva region, 37 kilometers from the coastal territory. This was the furthest point eastward which a Palestinian projectile has managed to reach. One of the rockets on the area struck a children’s playground. Nobody was wounded in the attack, but 34 people were treated for shock.Â

Demonstrators stormed the compound of the British Embassy in Iran, the Foreign Office has confirmed. The incident happened at 1720 GMT (2050 local time) and reports claimed the occupation lasted for about an hour. A Foreign Office spokesman said the situation had been resolved and all staff were safe and accounted for. He could not confirm reports that the demonstrators were protesting against what they see as British support for Israel’s air strikes on Gaza. There were also unconfirmed reports that the demonstrators tore down the British flag and hoisted a Palestinian standard in its place. |

Surely Khomeini would be proud. Even though “Britain has called for an urgent ceasefire,” that’s not good enough. Nothing will ever be good enough — not allowing sharia courts to operate in Britain, nor financially supporting Hamas. The more you concede, the more will be demanded of you — till you live in complete submission in accordance to Koran 9:29: “Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.”

With a very large Palestinian Muslim population in that city, it’s hardly a mystery who would pick now–in the midst of Israel’s bombardment of Gaza terrorists–to attack a synagogue in America. (Well, Muslims wouldn’t do a thing like that, because Islam is a RoP. It would be un-Islamic, right? /sarc off)
Following the pattern in previous conflicts, a number of NGOs immediately issued condemnations of Israel following the IDF response to increasing deadly rocket attacks from Gaza.

“If we [in The Netherlands] had to deal with terrorists just across the border in Belgium or Germany, who were launching missiles at Maastricht or Breda, and broke a truce,” Wilders — if he were Minister of Defense — would have done exactly the same as Israel is doing now.

Ziad Abu Tir senior Hamas Terrorist, and most likely the Brother of Mahmoud Abu Tir Hamas’ Minister for Jerusalem (and sometimes Bozo impersonator-pictured left) affairs was killed in an Israeli Air strike.
The air strike took place Monday morning as an Israeli air-to-ground rocket struck a car in the village of Abbasan, east of the southern Gaza town of Khan Younis, killing at least five people, two of them terrorists.

Security at one of the UK’s biggest airports has been branded ‘a total failure’ after a man flew to Pakistan using his little sister’s passport.Businessman Kasim Raja went unchallenged through three security checks at Birmingham International Airport using his sister Samina Raja’s ID.
He then boarded a Pakistan International Airlines flight to Islamabad, where he was finally spotted. Â

He said the wrong passport was checked at the first desk and also at the boarding gate before he was waved through.
It was only when the 26-year-old finally reached the Pakistani capital that border control staff there noticed the mistake and ordered him home.
