Muslims: Building a Bridge to Launceston

The University of Tasmania  opened a new purpose built prayer room at its Newnham Campus, with students, lecturers and refugee families declaring Launceston a friendly place for Islam. Launceston’s  community  had grown past 200 people, with only two water basins available to perform ablutions.

Now both men and women have their own facilities with six washing terminals:

“You must realise that this is more than a place to pray for us,” Abdul Majeed, of Saudi Arabia said.

“It is something which helps build bridges within the community, helping people who are new to this place to feel welcome and accepted. …”

Bridges?  Deplorable rubbish.

While Christians face escalating persecution from Muslims in Egypt, Nigeria, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia and elsewhere, our western politicians and clergymen ignore the victims and play at “dialogue” with Islamic supremacist groups whose announced intent is to “build bridges” with non-Muslims. Such bridges are really just proselytizing mechanisms to convert them to Islam, not an attempt to engage in genuine dialogue ““ as the Muslim Brotherhood theorist Sayyid Qutb explained:

“The chasm between Islam and Jahiliyyah [the society of unbelievers] is great, and a bridge is not to be built across it so that the people on the two sides may mix with each other, but only so that the people of Jahiliyyah may come over to Islam.”

Out with the Taliban, in with the Taliban…  Once we pull out, we will be remembered for rearranging the rubble in Afghanistan.  Who needs a a reminder that ‘Taliban’ means ‘student of Islam?’  Doesn’t that make every Muslim a Taliban?

“Democratic elections” between the Abdullah’s and the Muhammad’s in a  desert like Afghanistan are  of no interest to us.  These Afghan elections are a western financed circus that gets reporters killed and visitors blown up. But in the meantime, join the blue finger fun in Obama’s hopen’change world:

The Board of Inquiry in Cairo monitoring the “sectarian violence that continues to cross Egypt after the overthrow of President Morsi, has documented in a report released on Tuesday, March 25 the endemic forms of violence and abuse that continue to be perpetrated against Coptic Christians in many parts of the country, particularly in the governorates of Luxor, Sohag and Aswan.”  According to this report, “reference is made to abductions [almost always for ransom], expropriation of houses, shops looted where Egyptian Copts continue to be targeted victims.”
