The group Textbook Advocates, which supports a bill to change textbook adoption in Tennessee, invited the public to review textbooks in use and up for approval. Obama, the EU, and Putin, meanwhile, ought to keep quiet for a change and let Ukrainians decide their own fate. Even as the establishment figures posture for the cameras on the world stage, it is important to remember that the global establishment is alsoopenly working for “integration” and “convergence” between “East” and “West,” too. How Ukraine fits into the broader agenda, if at all, remains somewhat unclear. The fact that the international establishment on both sides of the bogus “divide” is in cahoots and that the public is the victim, though, is beyond dispute.
Killing doctors seems to be a sport in Pakistan. In Oz we haven’t seen much of it yet, and when it happens, ‘our’ hard left ABC doesn’t deem it newsworthy, especially not when Islamic savages are involved. It could wake some people up from their multicultural daze.
The intrepid Christina McIntosh (New English Review) has taken it upon herself to fisk the much underreported attack on the brilliant Neurosurgeon Dr Michael Wong,  by  Kareem Al-Salami, a muselmanic cultural enricher.
The ABC does not seem to have seen fit to cover this story; certainly I didn’t come across it in their main online newsfeed. Â It was covered by other outlets I had not had time to browse, the Herald-Sun and Nine News, and picked up by our regular commenter sheikyermami, to whom I accord the h/t. Â The frenzied attack – which came within an inch of murdering the good doctor – Â is being put down to the attacker’s being mentally ill, on medications, etc.; and yet one is left wondering quite why it is that attacks of this kind seem so very often to be carried out by persons who happen to be members of the Religion That Must Not Be Named. Â The Israeli papers, for example, seem to report similar stabbings about once a month, and it is always a male mohammedan with a knife, attacking a Jew, from behind.

“An award-winning brain surgeon was left fighting for his life after he was allegedly repeatedly stabbed in a frenzied attack at a Melbourne hospital yesterday.

The trial of three Al Jazeera English journalists in Egypt has been adjourned until March 5 after they appeared in court in Cairo and pleaded not guilty to all charges against them.Mohamed Fahmy, Peter Greste and Baher Mohammed are accused of joining, or aiding and abetting a terrorist organisation.
US media is reporting that Egypt has put three Al Jazeera journalists on trial on Thursday on charges of aiding members of a terrorist organization. According to a GlobalPost report:
February 20, 2014Â CAIRO (Reuters) – Egypt put three Al Jazeera journalists on trial on Thursday on charges of aiding members of a ‘terrorist organization’, in a case that human rights groups say shows the authorities are trampling on freedom of expression.
The journalists, wearing white prison outfits, appeared in metal cages, a Reuters witness said. Six others identified as Al Jazeera journalists are being tried in absentia. Read the rest here.
Ukrainian Rabbi Moshe Reuven Azman, called on Kiev’s Jews to leave the city and even the country if possible, saying that the city’s Jews may be victimized in the chaos, Israeli daily Haaretz reported.Â

GENEVA: The UN refugee agency on Friday urged countries outside the Middle East to open their doors to 100,000 Syrians who need to find a haven outside their conflict-struck region. (Arab News)

The call from the United Nations high commissioner for refugees follows an earlier appeal to developed countries to grant a new home to 30,000 of the most vulnerable Syrians driven from their country.

Morrison claims he was misled: detainees injured inside Manus centre
There is no doubt the PNG riot police, who typically wade into Highland tribal skirmishes, or hunt killers and rapists, felt confronted and insulted as they dealt with something completely foreign to them: outraged asylum-seekerssoldiers of allah yelling insults about their country and burning their national flag.
The riot police were joined in repelling or quelling the rioters by local unarmed guards working for G4S, the security contractor employed by Australia’s Immigration Department to work the internal security of the compound.
The left is determined to hand the  country over to Mohammedan control  rather than see the coalition stop the boats.
Immigration Minister Scott Morrison admits he was misled about the Manus Island riot – misled, I’d add, in a very serious way:
I wish to confirm that contrary to initial reports received, I have received further information that indicates that the majority of the riotous behaviour that occurred, and the response to that behaviour to restore order to the centre, took place within the perimeter of the centre.
As advised on the afternoon of Tuesday February 18, I indicated that I had received further information which meant that I could no longer confirm that the deceased man sustained his injuries outside the centre. The further information I have now received casts further doubt on the initial advice that his injuries were sustained outside the centre.
I find it hard to believe that whoever assured Morrison or his staff that most injuries were suffered outside the centre was not lying. It’s no longer possible to believe other assurances now, including claims there was no evidence of anyone having their throat cut.
My confidence in the information given to date by the Government on this riot is now extremely low.
There is now an independent investigation, but I’d like some interim signs that the guilty are being removed and any suspect staff urgently replaced.
