KRudd’s boat deal. The questions

– What is the cost? It is ominous that Rudd has not said what he’s paying PNG.

– How will it be paid for? The carbon tax “cut” is being paid for by a tax change that has already put scores of people out of work and threatens the jobs of hundreds more.

– Was dressing this toughness up by increasing the refugee intake to 27,000 smart? Only two years ago our refugee intake was half that, and still judged generous. Refugees tend to struggle to find work. Are we building a problem for the future?

– When the facilities at PNG be ready to receive all these boat people? Last year we were promised 600 people would be sent to Manus Island. There are just 200 people there in accommodation so bad that children were brought back to Australia.

– Will PNG take all boat people, as Rudd claimed, or some, as the PNG Prime Minister hinted?

– Will exempting, for now, women and children actually encourage people smugglers to stuff boats with them?

– Will PNG uphold their end of the deal? The PNG Opposition is against it. The deal will be reviewed in just one year. Will the cost then rise?

– Will PNG uphold their end of the deal in ways we can live with?

Right now the most important question I want answered is: what will this cost?

And politically the question still is: should we really praise Rudd for spending billions to fix a boat people catastrophe of his own making? Why did it take Labor five years to fix a disaster created when Rudd scrapped the tough border laws, opening the doors to over 46,000 boat people, and luring more than 1000 people to their deaths?

That question about Rudd’s role is like the biggest question about his deal: how much has Rudd’s blundering cost?

THE eldest of four Paki  gang rapist brothers savages has admitted lying at trial and apologised to his victims but said he thought he had a right to rape the “promiscuous” teenage girls.

MSK, 27, told the NSW Supreme Court yesterday that this was because the girls did not wear headscarves, were drinking alcohol and were unaccompanied when they went to his Ashfield home. MSK also blamed his intoxication, “cultural beliefs” and an undiagnosed mental disorder.

He and his brothers MAK, 25, MRK, 21, and MMK, 19 – who cannot be named for legal reasons – are serving between 10 and 22 years for raping two girls in 2002. All except MRK are yet to be sentenced for several other rapes.

Yesterday evidence was being heard on a sentence for MSK for the rapes of two more girls, TW, then 14, and CH, then 13. He admitted that some of the evidence he had given at an earlier trial was fabricated, particularly that he had had consensual sex with TW and that she had coaxed him.

“It was a pretty big untruth when you said that it was consensual sex, wasn’t it?” asked the Crown prosecutor, Ken McKay.

“Yes,” he replied.

You chose to lie about that, correct? – Yes.

UK Taxi Rapes: “No Woman is Safe in a Cab”

This recent case here exposed the whole pathetic charade, when complicit journaillie reported that the soldiers of allah “were sickened”  by the attack on a teenager.

Nobody even cared how sick  the teenager must have felt, the concern for the perp and the imaginary “backlash” was overwhelming.

Taxi rapes are rarely reported; apparently because the politically incorrect crimes are not deemed to be newsworthy. BBC radio host Sam Mason, a single mother, was fired after she called a taxi company and requested a “non-Asian” driver to take her 14-year-old daughter to her grandparents’ home; preferably a female driver. The operator refused, and said, “We would class that as being racist.” Mason responded, “It’s not your 14-year-old girl.” A BBC spokesman said, “[Mason’s] comments were completely unacceptable…she will no longer be working for the BBC.”

Great Britain is in the throes of a rape and pedophilia epidemic unlike anything the country has experienced in living memory.

Many of the sex crimes are being perpetrated by Muslim child grooming gangs responsible for drugging, raping and torturing hundreds and possibly thousands of British girls.

But another wave of sex crimes involves predatory Muslim taxi drivers who are raping female passengers. The number of so-called taxi rapes is snowballing to such an extent that a British judge has issued a warning that no woman can expect to be safe while traveling in a cab.

Reliable statistics on taxi rapes nationwide are difficult to obtain, and Freedom of Information requests seeking accurate data on cab-related sexual assaults are routinely denied (here and here).

Madness: Afghan Terrorist Wages Taxpayer Funded Legal Jihad to Obtain British Passport

Beats my why this nation of giggling shopkeepers ever bothered to fight the Krauts.

A MUSLIM terror fanatic banned from Britain for being a threat to national security has been given legal aid in a bid to win a UK passport.

The excremist, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was stripped of British citizenship by Home Secretary Theresa May following evidence he had undergone terror training in Afghanistan.

The man, who also has Afghan nationality, laun-ches an appeal against the ban today — funded by the TAXPAYER.

His case will be heard by the Special Immigration Appeals Commission in London. It comes after hate preacher Abu Qatada was finally kicked out of Britain.

Tory MP Douglas Carswell said: “Foreigners must think we are mad. We use taxpayers’ cash to allow people who want to defeat us on the battlefield fight us in our courts.”

Beginning in 2014, the United Kingdom will require all British schoolchildren to complete a unit on the history of Islam, proudly reports Press TV, Iran’s very own 24-hour English language news organization.

British Education Secretary Michael Gove announced the addition of a Muslim-specific component after revisions were made to address an outcry over a prior draft that did not include any references to the monotheistic Abrahamic religion.

Muslims were among the most vocal critics. The Muslim Council of Britain, which represents about 500 Islamic institutes across Britain, declared that it was “deeply disappointed.”

The revised curriculum is “great,” though, according to Salim Mulla, chairman of the Lancashire Council of Mosques. Sulla believes that people in the country could use “a better understanding of all faiths,” notes Press TV.

“There is already a good understanding of Christianity taught in schools,” Mulla told the Iranian media outlet. “But I don’t think a lot of Christians really understand what the Muslim faith is about.”

Islam is technically the third-largest religious affiliation in the country, according to The Guardian. Christianity is the largest religious group. People claiming to have no religion is the second. Those two groups make up the vast majority of Britons.

A spokesman for the Blackburn Diocese Board of Education spoke favorably of the new draft curriculum.

“As is well known, the early Islamic civilizations gave much to the world,” the spokesman said, “and we would certainly support the teaching of such an important part of world history.”

The British government is currently establishing a new national curriculum for primary and secondary education. The finished product is supposed to be introduced in schools in the fall of 2014.

Is stupidity and ignorance “controversial” too?

I’ve only just now caught up with a July 3 article from a newspaper called the Napa Valley Register (which, I must confess, is not a publication I ordinarily check out on a daily basis). The article reported on a lecture about Islam by Robert Spencer that had been scheduled to take place at a Roman Catholic church in Sacramento. The event, according to the Register, would still go on as planned, but the venue had been changed after orders came down from the Diocese of San Francisco that Spencer was not to be allowed to speak on church property. Plainly, diocesan officials did not wish to invite criticism – or worse – from those who might be offended by honest talk about Islam.

In other news:

It was interesting to note that the church at which Spencer was to give his talk is called – of all things – St. Stephen the First Martyr Parish. The lesson being that some Christians, while more than glad to honor their martyrs, are desperate to do everything they can to avoid the slightest chance of becoming martyrs themselves.

Anyway, to get to the point: I couldn’t help noticing that the author of the piece in the Register, one Isabelle Dills, had a fondness for a certain word. In her first sentence, she described Spencer as “a controversial writer about the threat of Islam.” A few lines later she noted that he’s “the director of Jihad Watch, a controversial blog that focuses on terrorism and violence committed by Muslims.” And a bit further on, she observed that “Spencer’s writings about Islam — particularly on his blog — have stirred up controversy around the globe.”

The mot du jour, obviously, was “controversial.”
