There are many noteworthy things about this documentary.

Theology Rules

One is the intensely theological content of the IS fighters and leaders.  Their speech is littered with references to the Qur’an, the Hadiths (traditions of Muhammad) and the Sira (biography of Muhammad).  This shows that the jihadis’ worldview is profoundly shaped by Islam’s scriptures. Islam is their driving motivation, determining – at least in their eyes – the boundaries of their behavior, their goals, and their morality. Whatever else Muslims find in Islam’s scriptures – including words of peace or reconciliation – it is abundantly clear that the Qur’an and Sunna are more than adequate to sustain the ideological base which drives the IS actors.  This conforms to the pattern of other jihad wars throughout the history of Islam.

Does religion have role in Bosnia elections?

For the first time since Bosnia’s formation, a religious leader has signed on for presidential elections.

Slick Willie bombed the Christian Serbs out of their ancestral homeland in order to help Muslims establish a narco-jihad fiefdom right in the middle of Europe. Ever since, these formerly marginal Muslim areas have been turned into hardcore Mohammedan strongholds with mosques on every street corner, bearded freaks in oriental garb and hijabbery on steroids. Now al Jizz wonders whether ‘religion’ (meaning Islam) has a role. To put it mildly: Islam, nothing but Islam matters in these places, and Mustafa Ceric will see to it that it stays this way.

Outside the conference room, in the auditorium, guests from around the world have arrived in Sarajevo to participate in a symposium marking the 100-year anniversary of the start of World War I. Politicians and academics have prepared speeches highlighting reconciliation and peace- concepts.

“Are we less intelligent? Are we less hardworking?” Ceric asked. “What is the secret that people who leave Bosnia and Herzegovina, who go west with nothing in their pockets end up with a job, a house; they send their children to school, and they’re even able to save up some money to send to their people who live here?”

Listed in 2012 as one of the top 50 most influential Muslims in the world by the Jordanian Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre, Mustafa Ceric, Bosnia’s former grand mufti of 20 years threw his bid in Bosnia’s general elections on October 12 as an independent candidate for the Bosniak (Bosnian Muslim) seat of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s tripartite presidency.

Hamas lies systematically, instructing civilians to misinform the foreign press. It lies habitually, with a formidable record of mendacity from previous conflicts. And it lies guiltlessly, convinced that the objectives of ‘resistance’ supersede quaint notions of truth-telling. Nonetheless, since Israel launched Operation Protective Edge over a month ago, Western media have relied on Gaza’s Hamas-run Health Ministry – as here, here and here – for casualty tallies. As one reporter told the Washington Post, when it comes to body counts, the Hamas Health Minister Ashraf Al-Qidra is “the only game in town.” For his part, Qidra has acknowledged that he considers any fatality who has not been claimed by an armed group as a civilian. And for its part, the Hamas leadership almost never admits its operatives have been killed – and instructs Gazans to do the same. Consequently, Qidra’s running total labels three-quarters of Gaza deaths as civilians. The result has been thundering condemnation of Israel for “indiscriminate” bombing. Hamas has taken a beating in its latest battle with Israel, but so too has media credibility.

Supporters of the extreme militant group, Islamic State , dispensed leaflets in central London on Monday declaring the ‘dawn of a new era’.

The Mohammedan Weltanschauung is stooped in dualism; holding two opposing things true at the same time. And pretending that there is some other kind of Islam, one that differs from that of the Koran, sirs and hadith, is basic taqiyya. The jihadists do exactly what Muhammad did, and the so called “moderates” pretend they are doing something wrong, here the Arab media even calls it “despicable actions that tarnish Islam”.  The reality is that nothing can “tarnish Islam” more than Islam itself.

Arab press blasts Islamic State militants for tarnishing Muslims worldwide

A growing chorus of top Muslim leaders and Arab pundits around the world are strongly condemning the “cancerous” actions of extremist Islamic State militants, saying the ruthless group’s horrific campaign of murder in Iraq does serious harm to all Islam.

In the past, Muslim leaders have faced criticism from inside and outside the religion for being slow to condemn terrorism in the name of Islam. An editorial in the London-based Al-Quds Al-Arabi last month called on moderate Muslims to denounce the actions of the group formerly known as ISIS, which has killed thousands and left an estimated 1.5 million people displaced in northern Iraq.

“All we have to do to understand the high price that Muslims pay on all levels [for such actions] is to see how Westerners snatch up [such reports on] ISIS’s conquests, invasions and despicable actions, and share them on social media in order to tarnish the image of Islam,” the July 24 editorial read. “We haven’t heard one single voice in the camp of moderate Islam condemning taking women prisoner or expropriating peaceful citizens’ property and money for ISI in Mosul, or any who distanced themselves from the shocking fatwas that seem to be carefully formulated for [maximum] service to the enemy.”

THE controversial 18C provisions of the Racial Discrimination Act will be used in a complaint against The Sydney Morning Herald over its anti-­Semitic cartoon and the accompanying article by former columnist, Mike Carlton.

We should all support this suing of Mike Carlton. Why should the Racial Discrimination Act be used to silence only conservatives? Let the Left now realise the law menaces even their own and must be scrapped as a crime against free speech: Carlton sued under 18C. Good.

Tony Abbott was willing to sacrifice free speech so ethnic community groups would support the government’s counter-terrorism laws. (Within hours this negotiating strategy was proved to be flawed as ethnic community leaders came out and rejected the government’s proposals.)

Prime Minister Tony Abbott said free speech must be surrendered to build “Team Australia”:

We are also determined to engage in ever closer consultation with communities including the Australian Muslim community.

When it comes to counter-terrorism, everyone needs to be part of ‘Team Australia’ and I have to say that the Government’s proposals to change 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act have become a complication in that respect.– Free speech gagged, but where’s that Team Australia?
