Geoff Morrell, the chief corporate affairs officer for Disney, who helped crafted the embattled company’s response to Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law, has resigned to “pursue other opportunities” after just three months.

The one-time George W. Bush Pentagon spokesman joined Disney only three months ago to head up the company’s global communications dept. — which included overseeing Disney’s government relations and public policy.

The company initially tried to keep its activism to stop the law in the background but because it did not lead a loud public outcry over the bill, Disney came under pressure from internal and external activists. Eventually Disney CEO Bob Chapek apologized for not attacking the law before it was enacted or while it was being debated in the state legislature.

Morrell helped Disney CEO Bob Chapek craft a response to the Florida, CNBC reports.

Twitter suspends Geert Wilders for criticizing Islam 

Bloomberg’s incomplete story discusses an allegedly offensive tweet by Gerry Wilders about Islam, without any mention of the content of the tweet. Once upon a time not long ago, there was a sense of responsibility in journalism, and the 5 w’s (who, what, when, where, why, and sometimes the additional how) were a minimal requirement. Now anything goes as long as the story fits within the framework of the publication’s activism goals. The duty not to offend Islam tops all other media priorities these days. This holds true in politics, too, in most cases.

Euro News, however, revealed the contents of the tweet that caused the dhimmi arbiters at Twitter to act:

…..the Freedom Party (PVV) chairman had published a tweet addressed to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, denouncing the “violence of the intolerant ideology called Islam”. Wilders had also claimed that the Pakistani citizens who have sent him death threats are “inspired by the fake prophet Mohammad”.

The whole world must comply with Sharia blasphemy laws and never offend Islam. Twitter is compliant.

Italian Court Rules Mandatory Vaccination Unconstitutional, ‘Fatal Side Effects’ too Risky (Video)

Sicily’s Court of Administrative Justice has ruled that Italy’s mandatory Covid vaccination obligation is unconstitutional. The court stated that the experimental mRNA treatments intended to protect the public from Covid have been shown to cause “serious or fatal adverse effects.” The court explains that even if such fatalities are rare, a single death is enough to render the mandate unconstitutional.

France’s move towards a centralized digital ID, and the corresponding resistance from people concerned with a Chinese-style social credit system, is a conflict that’s intensifying in many countries throughout the world.

Recently, for example, Nigeria blocked 73 million residents from making phone calls for not linking their cell phones to their national digital ID. 

In Italy, a municipal government just announced it’s rolling out a soft social credit score in the Fall, the first of its kind in Europe.

Domestically, Canada hasn’t issued coercive tactics to this level, and provinces are torn on implementing a digital ID.

While Alberta and Ontario have already rolled theirs out, Saskatchewan recently scrapped its plan to launch one after polling citizens who wanted nothing to do with it.

Instead, the provincial government now says they’ll monitor uptake and feedback from colleagues in other jurisdictions.

“We will be watching very closely to observe how their digital ID programs progress,” a Ministry of SaskBuilds official stated.

Moreover, certain opposition parties and candidates are beginning to voice their concerns against centralized digital ID and currency.

The Ontario Party, led by Derek Sloan, has presented a petition to the Ontario Legislature that proposes a ban on digital IDs.

CPC candidate Pierre Poilievre also recently proposed that he would ban centralized digital currency that the Liberal government snuck in their budget if elected.

The lighter-yellow forsythia dotted the roadsides in a riot of buzzy color.

We’d just been talking to a realtor acquaintance who described how the area had changed when the city people fled their Brooklyn apartments at the start of the pandemic, to sit out the crisis in the gracious, creaky old farmhouses that they could purchase for a relative song.
