Australian pharmacists have reported an increasing number of people arriving with prescriptions for the drug ivermectin, but refusing to say what it will be used for.

They don’t have to. And they shouldn’t. It is no ones business except for the doctor who prescribes it & the patient who uses it.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia said its members were encountering resistance from some customers when asked why they were seeking ivermectin.

“PSA is aware that some pharmacists have experienced an increase in presentations of prescriptions for ivermectin, including where the patient is unwilling or unable to discuss what they are being used for,” a PSA spokesperson said.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration on Monday said there had been a shortage of Stromectol 3mg ivermectin tablets in August. The drug is typically used in humans for treating river blindness, scabies and roundworm infections, but has increasingly been sought as a treatment for Covid-19, despite not being approved for that use in Australia.

Australia: Police Terror Against the People

Police injured in co-ordinated anti-lockdown protests across NSW

NSW Police have arrested 135 people and issued at least 436 fines after dozens of coordinated anti-lockdown protests were held across the state on Tuesday, primarily targeting local council chambers.

Nine hundred police officers were deployed to disperse crowds gathering at random locations all over NSW.

The #IStandWithTruckies blockade was replaced with 69 separate protests across Australia.

#IStandWithTruckies is the great Australian protest that never was.

A small gathering of trucks blocked the M1 South of Brisbane on Monday, but the main event was scheduled to kick-off on Tuesday.

Social Media spent days awash with banners and promotions insisting Tuesday would bring about the real blockade – an event that promised to disrupt essential supply chains and remain in place until Covid health orders were dropped.

Except, it never happened.

Why didn’t the protest eventuate? The likely reasons were highlighted previously in interviews conducted with figures from the trucking industry.

WHO Chief Scientist in trouble for “suppressing data & spreading misinformation about effectiveness of Ivermectin”

What is truth and what is misinformation about Ivermectin?

Looks like WHO’s Chief Scientist is in hot water for ‘suppressing data and spreading misinformation about the effectiveness of Ivermectin for treating COVID 19.

Are there other agendas by some people in the medical field? You bet.

(Why should the medical and scientific professions be seen as being immune from having ‘black sheep’ like the rest of us, or from being fallible?)

On 25 May 2021, the Indian Bar Association (IBA) served a 51-page legal notice on Dr Soumya Swaminathan, the Chief Scientist at the World Health Organisation (WHO), for “her act of spreading disinformation and misguiding the people of India, in order to fulfil her agenda.”

The Mumbai-based IBA is an association of lawyers who strive to bring transparency and accountability to the Indian justice system. It is actively involved in the dissemination of legal knowledge and provides guidance and support to advocates and ordinary people in their fight for justice.

The legal notice says Dr Swaminathan has been:

“Running a disinformation campaign against Ivermectin by deliberate suppression of effectiveness of drug Ivermectin as prophylaxis and for treatment of COVID-19, despite the existence of large amounts of clinical data compiled and presented by esteemed, highly qualified, experienced medical doctors and scientists,”

and

“Issuing statements in social media and mainstream media, thereby influencing the public against the use of Ivermectin and attacking the credibility of acclaimed bodies/institutes like ICMR and AIIMS, Delhi, which have included ‘Ivermectin’ in the ‘National Guidelines for COVID-19 management’.”

The IBA states that legal action is being taken against Dr Swaminathan in order to stop her from causing further damage to the lives of citizens of India.

Taliban Ask Qatar For Technical Assistance Running Kabul Airport

Originally the plan of the Taliban was to have Turkey send the people they need to run the airport in Kabul. However, Turkish President Recep Erdogan told the Taliban he would willingly run the airport for them, but his 600 troops would need to remain as part of the airport security detachment. The Taliban said no, the Turkish military needed to leave along with all the NATO troops. As a consequence Turkey said until you change your mind, run your own airport.

Here comes plan number two. Plan number two is the Taliban calling on their second ally in the region, Qatar.

Now, remember, Qatar is home-base for the Muslim Brotherhood. Both Qatar and Turkey are supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood (Barack Obama supports them also). The Brotherhood is the political operation of al-Qaeda, al-Nusra, ISIS, ISIS-K and the Taliban.

The Muslim Brotherhood is the covering fabric, and the various Islamic extremist groups are the splines of the extremist umbrella.

Now the Taliban have asked Qatar to run the airport: CAIRO, Aug 27 (Reuters) – The Taliban will ask Qatar for technical assistance in operating Kabul airport, Qatari based Al Jazeera news channel reported on Friday citing a source in the Islamist movement.

The Taliban have asked Turkey for technical help to run the airport after next Tuesday’s deadline for all foreign military forces to pull out of Afghanistan, an ultimatum they say applies equally to Turkish troops.

Earlier today, two officials told Reuters Turkey will not help run the airport after NATO’s withdrawal unless the movement agrees to a Turkish security presence, after deadly attacks outside the airport highlighted the perils of any such mission. (link)

Australians are renowned for a laid-back, easygoing nature, our sense of mateship and self-deprecating humour. Covid has robbed us of many things, but the better part of our national character should not be one of them. Premier Mark McGowan is sowing discord by luring local voters into the false belief that Covid will be eliminated if state borders are closed long enough. Labor MPs are rejecting federal advice to reopen borders once vaccination thresholds are met.

Speaking to the Today program last week, the Prime Minister tried to cajole state and territory leaders into reopening society. He dismissed as myth the claim that states could protect themselves from Covid and urged a more realistic appraisal of the Delta variant. Elimination is not possible. Lockdowns are not a solution.

Vaccination is the only exit strategy in town. In a lighthearted moment, he compared the use of lockdowns as a primary prevention strategy to life in The Croods, a children’s movie about a prehistoric family that try to survive predators by staying in their cave. Scott Morrison said: “Covid is a different world. We need to get out of there and live with it. We can’t stay in the cave.”

Chemists come between doctor and patient over Ivermectin

The pharma Gestapo tries to meddle between doctors & their prescriptions. Some are over eager to prevent patients from getting a live-saving drug.

Back in July, Health Minister Greg Hunt responded to a doctor who had been prescribing ivermectin as a prophylactic and treatment for COVID-19. The correspondence followed soon after Dr Mark Hobart was reported to the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for doing likewise. After AHPRA found there was no case to answer, Mr Hunt wrote:

I acknowledge some physicians are presecribing ivermectin off-label. As you would know, the practice of prescribing medications outside of their approved indications is not regulated nor controlled by the Therapeutic Goods Administration, as it is at the discretion of the prescribing official

You can’t get much more clear than that. According to both the AHPRA and the minister, doctors have every right to recommend the cheap, off-patent drug when and as they see fit.

But not according to the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, which has decided your local neighbourhood chemists can trump prescribing doctors if they suspect the drug is being used for other than its primary designated purpose, the treatment of roundworm parasites.

Restrictions with no basis in science, from curfews to playground bans, are no longer being tolerated silently by the masses. ”No Plan Dan” can’t scold his way out of this crisis. Victoria needs a clear road map out of Lockdown Six.

We need to know when schools will re-open, what freedoms will be restored at 70 per cent vaccinated and when, if ever, the Premier will develop a targeted response.
