UN Report: ‘Pali- Terror is Understandable’

Freelance Israel Hater John Dugard is at it again. This hitman for the UN Human rights commission has published a report under the auspices of the UN which says UN Report: Palestinian Terror is Understandable:

The report calls for an end to the Israeli occupation, citing the country’s checkpoints and roadblocks restricting Palestinian movement, house demolitions and the “Judaization” of Jerusalem.….while Palestinian terrorist acts are deplorable, “they must be understood as being a painful but inevitable consequence of colonialism, apartheid or occupation.” Source Report: Israeli occupation causes terror

Common sense dictates? I think it was Will Rogers who said the problem with common sense is that it ain’t too common. ” Dugard kind of reminds me of the days when people in the US would blame rape victims for being raped (or Saudi Arabia today).

This kind of report is nothing new for John Dugard: he is the UN’s Hired Anti-Israel Gun. His previous efforts have been just as bad. Dugard, formerly campaigned against South Africa apartheid. He has said often that racist policy of apartheid is similar to that of Israel. He has defined Jews as a “race” and charged that the Israeli army is guilty of terror worse than that of Arab terrorists.

THE alleged leader of a home-grown terror cell called Osama bin Laden a “great man” and his “brother”, a court has heard.

Abdul Nacer Benbrika, 48, a self-taught religious instructor, told an ABC television interviewer he did not encourage followers to take part in so-called holy wars (jihads) overseas or in Australia.

He said he merely passed on the teachings of the Koran.

Benbrika vowed ‘Jihad in Jail’

The accused leader of a terrorist organisation told a co-accused they would continue jihad in jail if they were caught, a Crown prosecutor told a Supreme Court jury today.

Crown prosecutor Richard Maidment, SC, told the jury the alleged spiritual leader, Abdul Nacer Benbrika, and co-accused, Majed Raad, were recorded by listening devices discussing the study of jihad.

“We continue the jihad in jail, everywhere,” Benbrika allegedly said.

Mr Maidment told the court Benbrika, along with co-accused Hany Taha and co-accused Shoue Hammoud, were also recorded by listening devices in Benbrika’s home after a series of ASIO raids in 2005.

“They read how to destroy us and we read how to kill them,” Benbrika allegedly said.

During the Supreme Court trial of 12 men accused of various terrorism charges, a video was played to the court of a second interview with Age journalist Nick McKenzie from 2005.

The video allegedly showed McKenzie asking Benbrika if he would stop a student of his engaging in violence.

“If I do this, I betray my religion,” Benbrika allegedly replied.

Further in the video, Benbrika allegedly said: “If he want to please Allah, I will never stop him.”

The two training camp ringleaders — one who claimed to be the “No. 1 al-Qaida in Europe” and the other who nicknamed himself “Osama bin London” — will be sentenced next month on charges of running the camps and inciting participants to murder. Five others were each sentenced Tuesday to at least 3 1/2 years in prison on charges of attending terrorism training.

And after those 3 1/2 years or so, then what? Deportation? Loss of citizenship? Something like control orders?

The documents reveal Hicks as a zealous Muslim – studying the Koran for up to nine hours a day – who acquired nine months of expert military and terrorist training in 2000 and 2001. In a letter to his family in February 2000, Hicks admits: “I am now officially a Taliban member.”

…”I’m going back (to Afghanistan) but this time with the Arabs and to bin Laden’s camps,” he says in a letter to Ms King, received in January 2001. Between then and his capture in December 2001, Hicks visited bin Laden about 20 times, and undertook 25 weeks of training with al-Qa’ida.

MUSLIM radicals have demanded Sharia law across Britain “without compromise”.

Extreme Islamics said the hardline system – where people are punished by stoning and beheading – is the future.

Speaking at a meeting in Birmingham, Abu Ibraheem said: “Let us make this absolutely clear. Islam is not subject to dilution, compromise or relegation.

“The behaviour of some Muslims is failing miserably to meet these commands.”

About 50 activists held the meeting in the same town where terrorist Parviz Khan, 36, plotted to behead a British soldier.

Ten thousand leaflets were distributed to attract moderate Muslims.

They criticised comments by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, 58, who suggested parts of Sharia law may be good for the UK.

Abu Abdullah, who spoke at the meeting, added: “The purpose of this was not to discourage Muslims from following English laws.

“It is to educate people about Sharia and its meanings.”

The latest effort in a ‘counter-Wilders-film’ produced by the Dutch Catholic broadcaster KRO. And this one deserves to be named the absolute low point in Christian dhimmi groveling: Catholic broadcaster to produce film on violent Bible (NL).

The KRO’s ‘counterfilm’ will link violent and intolerant Bible texts to current events, reports the Volkskrant.

Peter de Kok, the broadcasters spokesperson, didn’t want to confirm or deny the imminent film. ‘We are in the process if reviewing a number of concepts and ideas on how to react to the film by Geert Wilders.’

The bible film, much as Wilders’ film, will be about 15 minutes long. According to the [Volkskrant], the KRO is working hard, because the broadcaster wants the film to be finished before Wilders, who hopes to broadcast Fitna in March.

KRO president Koen Becking, a 38-year old politicologist, is enthusiastic about the plan, according to the [Volkskrant].

In the wake of U.S. recognition of the Islamist Republic of Kosovo, attention has once again been focused on Muslim persecution of Christian Serbs.

In 2005, CNSNews.com ran an article entitled “Persecution of Kosovo Christians Said to Reveal Larger Threat,” in which it aired a video of a Muslim mob destroying a Christian church. Note these revelations in that article, reflecting information from a congressional hearing in August 2005:

International intervention to halt the persecution of Christians in Kosovo is a “complete failure,” according to a former diplomat and other political analysts who briefed Capitol Hill staff late last week, pointing to the destruction of 150 churches and the simultaneous construction of 200 mosques.

The new mosques are funded by “Wahhabist nations,” the diplomats said, raising the specter of radical Islam incubating on the doorstep of Europe in a province rife with illegal arms and narcotics trafficking.

The religious persecution is also part of a political strategy of violence, which if rewarded in the granting of independence to Kosovo, could trigger similar violent secessionist movements throughout neighboring states and countries, they warned.

Note what former US Ambassador Thomas Patrick Melady, who testified on the rampant Jihad in Kosovo at the Congressional hearings in August 2005, said at a press conference that followed:

Those attending the Aug. 11 press conference, and a follow-up congressional briefing on Aug. 12, expressed disappointment over the lack of media coverage of the church destruction. “I’ve been quite disappointed,” Melady told Cybercast News Service, “It wasn’t a major headline story.”

He compared the destruction to Kristallnacht, or “the Night of Broken Glass” — the Nazi-sponsored violent persecution against German Jews launched on Nov. 9, 1938. Gangs of Nazi youth fanned out into Jewish neighborhoods vandalizing and burning Jewish property and businesses, including 101 synagogues.

The official Nazi government response at the time was that such outbreaks were spontaneous, not organized. In the Kosovo situation, analysts are also expressing doubt over a similar line touted by the government.

Referring to the destruction of 34 churches in March of last year Melady said, “Thanks to a few amateur films that were made when the protests broke out, we can see how things unfolded. At all the scenes someone would climb to the top and tear down the cross, then stomp on it. Then they would set fire to the church.”
