Just when you thought this piece of ‘holier-than-thou’ PoS couldn’t possibly stoop any lower, he does it again:

ATHENS, Ga. – With the zeal of a Baptist Sunday School teacher, Jimmy Carter ended a conference on his presidency Sunday morning by telling Americans they should not fear and they should not hate.

On a weekend in which Carter celebrated the 30th anniversary of his inauguration and the 25th year since its abrupt conclusion, it was left to the former president to update his peace efforts in the Middle East to today’s world by talking about terrorism and about harsh feelings against people of other faiths.

“We are developing an ingrained hatred for people who aren’t Christians,” said Carter, a Sunday School teacher since he was 18 years old.

Unwarranted fear of terrorism is behind these feelings, he said.

“The distortion that we are about to be destroyed makes us suspicious of those who don’t worship the way we do,” he said. “And our country has no reason to be afraid.”

Especially lucrative have been Carter’s ties to Saudi Arabia. Before his death in 2005, King Fahd was a longtime contributor to the Carter Center and on more than one occasion contributed million-dollar donations. In 1993 alone, the king presented Carter with a gift of $7.6 million. And the king was not the only Saudi royal to commit funds to Carter’s cause. As of 2005, the king’s high-living nephew, Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, has donated at least $5 million to the Carter Center.

Meanwhile the Saudi Fund for Development, the kingdom’s leading loan organization, turns up repeatedly on the center’s list of supporters. Carter has also found moneyed allies in the Bin Laden family, and in 2000 he secured a promise from ten of Osama bin Laden’s brothers for a $1 million contribution to his center. To be sure, there is no evidence that the Bin Ladens maintain any contact with their terrorist relation. But applying Carter’s own standard, his extensive contacts with the Saudi elite must make his views on the Middle East suspect.

Nasrallah and his Hezbollah-thugs want to topple the government. They are likely to succeed. For 2 months the Lebanese government has been under siege, beleaguered by thousands of loyal brainwashed Nasrallah-followers. Because Islam must dominate, at all cost. Never mind the economy. Never mind the thousands of businesses ruined. Never mind the disaster which will inevitably follow. Islam, Islam, Islam: Nothing but Islam:

Terrorists open new front in Indonesia

HIGH-RANKING figures in Jemaah Islamiah have opened a new front in their terrorism campaign on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, where nine of their fighters and a police officer have been killed in the latest gun battle.

Terrorism experts say dormant Java-based cells of the organisation seem to have been reactivated by US and Australian-trained anti-terrorist squad attacks on militant strongholds near the Sulawesi town of Poso, 1700 kilometres east of Jakarta.

They say the violence in Poso this month has caused a dangerous escalation of what radical Islamic militants see as their jihad or war against infidels.

Shamefully (and tellingly), the so-called “mainstream” Islamic organizations of Britain have responded to the Channel 4 documentary Undercover Mosque by attacking critics and denying the very obvious problems: Islamic Prejudice, Islamic Denial.

For last week’s “Dispatches” program on Britain’s Channel Four, a reporter with a hidden camera entered Birmingham’s Green Lane mosque (which has won praise from Britain’s Muslim peer, Lord Ahmed) and other leading mosques in Britain. He found they preached Islamic supremacism, hatred of Jews and Christians, and the subjugation of women.

The mosques, of course, are in heavy damage-control mode. A press release at the Green Lane mosque website complains that “it is extremely disappointing but not at all surprising that ‘Dispatches’ has chosen to portray Muslims in the worst possible light. ‘Dispatches’ has opted for sensationalism over substance with total disregard for peaceful community relations.” And not only that: “This so-called ‘undercover’ investigation merely panders to age-old anti-Muslim prejudices by employing the time-honoured tradition of cherry picking statements and presenting them in the most inflammatory manner.”

The statement doesn’t address the obvious fact that it would be difficult, if not impossible, to cherry-pick statements anywhere near as hateful and inflammatory as those recorded in the Green Lane mosque from proceedings in any Jewish, Christian, Hindu, or Buddhist house of worship.

Among the statements recorded in the Green Lane mosque were these about women:

* “Allah has created the woman – even if she gets a Ph.D. – deficient. Her intellect is incomplete, deficient. She may be suffering from hormones that will make her emotional. It takes two witnesses of a woman to equal the one witness of the man.”

* “By the age of ten, it becomes an obligation on us to force her to wear hijab, and if she doesn’t wear hijab, we hit her.”

* “Men are in charge of women. Wherever he goes she should follow him, and she shouldn’t be allowed leave the house without his permission.”

Robert Spencer points out that the statements we hear in Undercover Mosque are not really “extreme” at all, but rooted deeply in traditional Islam. And the reactions from groups like MPACUK and the Muslim Council of Britain illustrate that they’re well aware of it.

The worst hatemongers from the ‘RoP’ are usually the first to call others ‘bigots, hypocrites, Islamophobes and haters’-, something which, coming from those who suck the hatred in with the mothers milk, is called projection. Accusing the accuser, deliberately confusing and deflecting away from the issues, lying and obscuring, this is all part and parcel of the strategy to spread the ‘RoP’ in the lands of the infidels. This is a strategy called ‘kitman & taqiyya’. Unfortunately the unholy alliance of the left-wing moonbats with the great unwashed masses from the Middle East protects the rights of those who came to conquer, to spread their poisonous ideology in the lands of the infidels. ‘All religions are the same,’ we are told, but are they really?

STOCKTON – A talk on the basic tenets of Islam was repeatedly interrupted Saturday by a few anti-Muslim members of a crowd at the Cesar Chavez Central Library.

One woman was forced to leave early in the two-hour program after she accused guest speaker Tarek Mourad of lying, yelling that Islam’s holy book teaches Muslims to kill Jews and Christians and that Muslims are trying to take over the Western world.

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has come under fire following testimony by a Bremen resident who says he was tortured at Guantanamo Bay. The charges could deeply damage the reputation of a senior official in a government that prided itself on promoting human rights.

(The torture claims are straight from the Al Qaeda playbook, but I wonder whether the Dhimmie judges or prosecutors even bother to read up on it)

Former Guantanamo inmate Murat Kurnaz testified before a parliamentary committee last week.

Last week Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Germany’s foreign minister and acting president of the European Union Council, considered himself to be once again at the heart of world affairs. On Wednesday evening he hosted a private dinner for United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in a suite at the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin. The two discussed, as Steinmeier proudly reported, “not just the small steps, but also the political horizon” for the peace process in the Middle East. On Thursday he then met with newly sworn-in Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer for a tête-à-tête aimed at getting the stalled European constitution back on track.
However, just as Steinmeier was trying play a part in shaping the future of the world, the past abruptly caught up with him — in particular, the question of whether as head of the chancellery under the former government of Gerhard Schröder, he bears responsibility for the fact that Murat Kurnaz — a Turkish citizen born and raised in Germany — sat for years in Guantanamo, when he could have returned home to his family in Bremen.

Al-Qa’ida in ‘threat’ to blow up paper

A MAN claiming to represent al-Qa’ida in Australia has left a telephone message at an Arabic Australian newspaper threatening to kill its editor-in-chief and destroy its offices in Sydney and Melbourne.
Apparently reading from a script, the Arabic-speaking caller threatened to butcher every Iraqi Kurd and Shi’ite in Australia.
ASIO and NSW police are investigating the message, left for al-Furat editor-in-chief Hussein Khoshnow 10 days ago.

The caller claims his “well-structured organisation” will track down the names and addresses of the newspaper’s reporters.

“We will destroy the newspaper’s headquarters in Sydney very soon, God willing,” the caller says. “We will destroy the newspaper’s headquarters in Melbourne. You will be butchered. Every Iraqi Kurd and Shi’ite in Australia will be butchered.”

Long overdue, but it seems the government has got the message:

Thanks to John Howard we might see a bit of a shake-up in the immigration ministries. Is it true that many immigration offices in Australia are infiltrated by Muslims who actively work against the interests of the country by rubber stamping and fast-tracking immigrants from Islamic countries?

If so, will they be sacked and replaced? How far does the shake-up go?

End of multiculturalism

PRIME Minister John Howard officially scrapped multiculturalism today as he sacked Immigration Minister Amanda Vanstone and renamed her old department.

The trouble-plagued Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs (DIMA) will now be known as the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, with former Workplace Relations Minister Kevin Andrews the new minister.

Mr Howard defended the change, saying Australians believed that immigration should lead to citizenship.

“I think the title of the new department expresses the desire and the aspiration, and that is that people who come to this country, who emigrate, immigrants, become Australians,” Mr Howard told reporters.

“That’s what the Australian people want.”

Mark Steyn’s new book is a welcome wake-up call.

In the prologue to his new book, America Alone: The End of the World As We Know It, Mark Steyn sarcastically alludes to two people whom, in different ways, I know well. The first is novelist Martin Amis, ridiculed by Steyn for worrying about environmental apocalypse when the threat to civilization is obviously Islamism; the second is Jack Straw, formerly Tony Blair’s foreign secretary, mocked for the soft and conciliatory line he took over the affair of the Danish cartoons. The dazzling fiction writer and the pedestrian social-democratic politician are for Steyn dual exemplars of his book’s main concern: the general apathy and surrender of the West in the face of a determined assault from a religious ideology, or an ideological religion, afflicted by no sickly doubt about what it wants or by any scruples about how to get it.

I might quibble about Steyn’s assessment—Amis has written brilliantly about Mohammed Atta’s death cult, for example, while Jack Straw made one of the best presentations to the UN of the case for liberating Iraq. But it’s more useful to point out two things that have happened between the writing of this admirably tough-minded book and its publication. Jack Straw, now the leader of the House of Commons, made a speech in his northern English constituency in October, in which he said that he could no longer tolerate Muslim women who came to his office wearing veils. The speech catalyzed a long-postponed debate not just on the veil but on the refusal of assimilation that it symbolizes. It seems to have swung the Labour Party into a much firmer position against what I call one-way multiculturalism. Prime Minister Tony Blair confirmed the shift with a December speech emphasizing the “duty” of immigrants to assimilate to British values.

While I am personally in favor of reversing Muhammedan immigration, there is no doubt that there are many Muslims for identification purposes only, some who call themselves Muslims out of filial piety or others who are secular and truly integrate and assimilate in a multicultural society.

To separate friend from foe, perhaps our immigration officials should start asking the right questions.

Now lets see how many Muslim posters we can attract to participate in this test, which should be compulsory.
