Lakemba: "Muslims marginalized and left behind…."

Obviously, there is no place in the world where Muslims are not “ oppressed, marginalized and left behind”. As long as the Muslims don’t rule over the kafir, as long as Islam is not dominant and the sharia is not the  law of the land, Muslims are oppressed. That needs to be fixed. By any means. Watch for traffic jams of ALP butt-snorklers making their way to Lakemba in the next few days!

ISLAMIC leaders have declared war on the NSW State Government, calling for pro-Muslim candidates to run in key western Sydney Labor seats.

Lebanese Muslim Association president Samier Dandan yesterday used the Eid al-Adha festival at Lakemba to outline his group’s political ambitions.   In front of more than 5000 followers, Mr Dandan said Labor had to be kicked out of office at the March election.

“We want the Muslim people to have their say. We are telling them that Labor has not done the job and that it’s time for them to go,” he said.

The Islamic Friendship Association of Australia’s Keysar Trad says it’s possible organisers did not realise Anwar al-Awlaki was an Al Qaeda recruiter when they hired him to give a sermon at a Sydney mosque. He wasn’t at the mosque, you see, and there was nothing on the internet either, and he wasn’t told anything, knows nothing….. blah blah…..

Al Qaeda preaches in our biggest mosque:

AN AL-QAEDA recruiter, described as the No. 1 terrorist threat to America, was engaged by a Sydney youth group to address hundreds of young people – a decision that has caused deep divisions at one of Australia’s largest mosques.

At the same time as Anwar al-Awlaki was advising the extremist later charged with killing 13 people at Fort Hood in Texas, he was in talks with a group, Sydney Muslim Youth, about delivering a sermon to young Australians. He was already well known to security agencies as the spiritual guide to three of the hijackers on September 11, 2001…

The Herald attended the sermon at the Lakemba mosque in February last year but was ejected by organisers…

According to a director of the mosque, Ziad Ghamraoui, Shady Alsuleiman was in charge of organising evening youth events at the time of the sermon. Sheikh Shady refused to comment… IslamicMedia.com.au, an initiative of the Shady-affiliated United Muslims of Australia, streamed but did not record the speech and has 15 other audio sermons from the imam.

Shady is a contradiction of those bland assurances that the second generation will assimilate as the first did not:

Sheikh Shady Alsuleiman was born in Sydney – Australia from an Arab family who migrated to Australia in the late 60’s. He completed his School Certificate in Sydney before heading overseas on a seven year journey seeking Islamic knowledge in the Islamic world… He operates from Australia’s largest Masjid and Islamic centre (Masjid Ali Bin Abi Taleb, known as Lakemba Mosque).

And he’s formed an Islamic college in Sydney that now has five teachers. One is the Sydney-born Rameh Zoud, who was interviewed six years ago by the ABC in Yemen, where he was studying Islam at a school in a town in al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden’s ancestral homeland:

ISLAM comes from the Arabic word Salaam meaning peace but for Sydney’s Lebanese Muslims the past few years have been anything but peaceful. (No Islam doesn’t mean “peace”. Islam means ‘submission’ under the ‘laws of allah/ed)

Tensions between Sydney’s Muslim population and the wider community grew with the arrest of our first home-grown Islamic terrorists, outcry over applications for Islamic schools in formerly Anglo Saxon enclaves of outer western Sydney, debate over asylum seekers from war-torn Afghanistan and a series of gang rapes blamed on committed by men of Middle Eastern descent.

“When people have a bad idea about you, you need to give them the right idea,” Sheikh Safi said.
