What ‘humanitarian crisis’?

The JPost has a review of claims by the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) that there is a ‘humanitarian crisis’ in Gaza. Even a cursory review of the claims shows that they are utter nonsense with manufactured standards not used elsewhere in the World. Here are a couple of highlights. Dubai invites United Nations to set up headquarters

The government of Dubai on Thursday announced that it is fully prepared to host the headquarters of the United Nations if its officials decide to move from New York where the organisation is currently located.

According to an official source in the Dubai government, the announcement was made in light of the UAE’s — and Dubai’s — appreciation of the vital role the United Nations plays in all areas, and in the protection of international peace and security and economic development in particular.

Dubai is a place, and a symbol.

As a place, it has no claim on our attention. Voltaire once described French Canada as “quelques arpents de neige.” Dubai, like the rest of the Emirates, like Saudi Arabia, could with more justice be dismissed, as “quelques arpents de sable.” It also happens to be in a place, on the globe, convenient for airplanes travelling from Europe to Asia to set down, and perch, and rest and refuel, during their transcontinental trips. That oil and gas was discovered by, lifted by, transported by, distributed by, non-Muslims who have done everything, including writing those checks to those who happen to possess those oil and gas reserves. Those owners have received, as a consequence, more than twelve trillion dollars since 1973 alone. Dubai became a symbol. The ruler of Dubai, the people of Dubai, the investors in Dubai, the breathless commentators on the Wonder That Is Dubai, saw it as a symbol of all that was impressive, all that was so wonderful, all that bespoke of a Bright Future For The Gulf.

GENEVA — The U.N. Human Rights Council approved a U.S.-backed resolution Friday deploring attacks on religions while insisting that freedom of expression remains a basic right.

The inaugural resolution sponsored by the U.S. since it joined the council in June broke a long-running deadlock between Western and Islamic countries in the wake of the publication of cartoons depicting the Muslim Prophet Muhammad.

The report by the Goldstone Commission sponsored by the U.N. is a danger for all of us; it is a written document stating that it is necessary to give up the fight against systematic terrorism that hits and uses civilians. A quick look at the 575 pages of the report designed to establish what happened in Gaza in the 2008-2009 war: it is clear that the Commission set up by the United Nations during the ninth special session of the Human Rights Council in January 2009 has is not at all interested in truth, but only in still another criminalization of Israel: the U.N. embodies once again an example of moralistic Palestinism that exploits the guilty feelings of the contemporary world to delegitimize the West. And it practically aims to the physical and institutional death of the Jewish State.
Every year, the U.N. devotes two thirds of its resolutions on human rights to condemn Israel; its Assembly has already echoed the anti-semitic speeches by President Ahmadinejad, and now it is going on with a whipping version by Judge Goldstone, indeed a Jew with a daughter who lives in Israel. Yesterday Pres Obama addressed the UNGA on the subject of the conflict between Arabs and Jews conflict and had this to say;

    …I will also continue to seek a just and lasting peace between Israel, Palestine, and the Arab world.

What is noteworthy here, is that he referred to “Palestine” like it was a state already. Is that not pre-judging the outcome? He also wants there to be peace with the “Arab world” which means more pressure on Israel to cave to the demands of Syria.

    Palestinians have strengthened their efforts on security. Israelis have facilitated greater freedom of movement for the Palestinians. As a result of these efforts on both sides, the economy in the West Bank has begun to grow. But more progress is needed. We continue to call on Palestinians to end incitement against Israel, and we continue to emphasize that America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements.

JERUSALEM – The United Nations is perpetuating a fabricated “refugee” crisis with the aim of destroying Israel’s existence as a Jewish state, charges a recently released blockbuster book.

In “The Late Great State of Israel, author and WND Jerusalem bureau chief Aaron Klein documents how the U.N. created a separate, massive agency to sustain and fuel a self-generated Palestinian “refugee” crisis, and how, Klein argues, the issue is pointed like a gun at Israel’s back.

“Palestinian leaders across the board call for the so-called right of return inside Israel for their fake refugees. If this demand is ever put into action, if millions of foreign Arabs flood Israel, it will destroy the Jewish character of the state by population genocide, by having Arabs outnumber Jews by a wide margin,” Klein explains.  
 
“That’s the plan,” he adds.
 
In a bombshell chapter of the book, Klein shows how after Israel’s founding the U.N. drastically changed the very definition of “refugee” just for the Palestinian conflict so that a large number of non-qualifying Arabs could register as “Palestinian refugees” and how these so-called refugees are being attended to in methods different from refugees in all other regions of the world, throughout the entire history and charter of the U.N.

When the free world joined the jihad: "The Hoax that Started a War.”

It is a pity that in Obama’s endless global partying and surrender tour – that in all his groveling to America’s enemies he couldn’t find one word for the persecuted Christians in Serbia. But Obama only apologizes for the good that we do… a useful idiot for jihad. Or simply the Manchurian candidate we have always suspected he is….

We are still in the midst of the 10-year anniversary of our NATO attack on Serbia on behalf of bin Laden-trained/financed KLA terrorists, to help steal Serbian land because Albanians reached a majority in part of that country. (The ceremony, “dedicated to the martyrs of the Racak massacre,” was reported by the KosovaLive news agency: “Kosovo leaders vow at Racak massacre memorial never to forget Serbian crimes.”) There couldn’t have been a better comedy roast for the year 2009, the tenth anniversary of NATO’s war against Yugoslavia — launched by a staged atrocity in the town of Racak.
