A well known Islamic leader in Egypt by the name of Abu Ishak Al Huweini, who often appears on Egyptian TV, has recently said the following in Arabic and I have translated it into English:

“We are at a time of Jihad; Jihad for the sake of Allah is a pleasure, a true pleasure. Mohammed’s followers used to compete to do it. The reason we are poor now is because we have abandoned jihad. If only we can conduct a jihadist invasion at least once a year or if possible twice or three times, then many people on Earth would become Muslims. And if anyone prevents our dawa or stands in our way, then we must kill them or take as hostage and confiscate their wealth, women and children. Such battles will fill the pockets of the Mujahid who can return home with 3 or 4 slaves, 3 or 4 women and 3 or 4 children. This can be a profitable business if you multiply each head by 300 or 400 dirham,. This can be like financial shelter whereby a jihadist, in time of  financial need, can always sell one of these heads (meaning slavery).  No one can make that much money in one deal (from hard work) even if a Muslim goes to the West to work or do trade. In time of need, that is a good resource for profit.”

When I heard this audio message, I could not believe my ears. This is nothing short of barbaric and medieval preaching by a powerful Muslim leader in Egypt who has access to public TV and the ears of millions. This sheikh, who is at least honest and unapologetic about what jihad means, is also promoting the true model and example of the prophet Mohammed in the 7^th and what he did to non-Muslims, as an example for all Muslims to follow today. Isn’t that the role of a prophet, to be the example to his followers?

Obama tries to reassure Jews at AIPAC (many suck it up)

Today Obama repeated his plan to push Israel back to the 1967 border. Obama said it was “nothing new.” That was another Obama lie.

After his disastrous speech Thursday, Obama went to AIPAC to try to reassure Jews and all supporters of Israel. However, Pamela Geller was not reassured:

Obama’s declaration that the U.S./Israel relationship was ironclad does not reassure me. I am dubious about Obama’s promise. Obama’s idea of ironclad is sketchy at best. After all, in 2008 Obama vowed at the AIPAC conference that Jerusalem would remain the undivided capital of the state of Israel if he was elected. He walked back on that promise the next day. In 2009 at Cairo University (with the Muslim Brotherhood in attendance at his invitation), he called on Israel to stop all the settlement activity, and created a crisis in US/Israel relations when Israel approved 1600 houses in Jerusalem. And of course last week, Obama caused fright and worry amongst freedom-loving peoples when he endorsed the Auschwitz borders. I am glad that he said that the UN won’t create “Palestine,” and while this is elemental, with Obama, you gotta be happy with any crumb. When he said that Israel’s isolation in the international arena won’t be sanctioned or tolerated, he did not expand upon that. So while his propaganda ministers will spin this for the Jewish campaign dollar, when you really look at it, it’s a lot of empty rhetoric. He used AIPAC today to reassure the Jews ……. and many bought the ruse.

Ivory Coast: a Classic Jihad

Missionary says plight desperate after political unrest JIHAD in Ivory Coast

That’s the message Christians in the Ivory Coast got from Muslims during a long-fought dispute over the nation’s presidency, an election late last year apparently won by a Christian candidate when the government found voter fraud in Muslim regions. But that result was overturned following intervention by the United Nations and the United States, who insisted that the Muslim candidate be given the office.

Which puts Muslims now in “control.”

A missionary who asked to be called only Pastor Andrew serves in the Ivory Coast and says that the administration of newly inaugurated president Alessane Ouattara, a Muslim, has shut off the Internet and now likely is tapping the Christians’ telephones.

“Just before (the civil war), they were warning the Christians that when we get in power, the first we’re going to do is come against the church. We’re coming to get you,” Andrew revealed.

“And so they did. Right at this moment we’ve been cut off for over a month. They have shut down the Internet so they (the Christians) can’t communicate with the outside,” Andrew said.

“Then we were advised not to talk to them by phone because they have phone taps. So to protect them, we’re not communicating directly into the country,” Andrew added.

There are reports that Ivory Coast authorities have restored Internet service in the country.

The actions of Ouattara’s forces since his installation as president point to the issue of why the international community would support Ouattara. Andrew says there is a threefold reason.

“This has been between the predominantly Muslim north and the Christian south. It has been a mandate of the Islam world to take more control of more land, more people, and more resources and that’s part of their mandate,” Andrew explained.

Andrew also says that the removal of President Laurent Gbagbo, the incumbent Christian, was nothing less than a coup.

“I watched that whole process take place and I would say that the whole process of putting in Ouattara into the presidency is a plot. According to what I saw and to what I understand, it’s not legitimate,” Andrew declared.

“One of my contacts warned me just before the war broke out and they overthrew Gbagbo that it was a coup,” Andrew related.

Andrew says that Gbagbo had put procedures in place that would have guaranteed a fair election in the country.

“He had these forms that everybody had to fill out; it was a way to prove that you’re an Ivorian. The put down who their mom and dad were, what tribe they were from, what village you were from, and what year you were born,” Andrew described.

“It could be proven by their dialect that they were Ivorian. So, the rebels fought against that. They didn’t want to use that form because they said they were not being treated fairly,” Andrew further described.

“What was happening was illegal. There was ballot stuffing. Besides the illegal voting, they also disqualified all of the Gbagbo votes, they got rid of their ballots and they killed [Christians], persecuted them and burned their villages,” Andrew added.
