I cannot help but notice that no Muslim can discuss Islam without criticizing Christianity. The reason for this is found in the “complete, perfect and detailed” Koran. The Koran is vicious about all other religions. Due to its dualism, it has a good word in the beginning about the Jews and Christians, but in the end, the dualism prevails and the Koran’s second view is brutal. It demands that it, and it alone, determines the truth of all other religions. But the Koran does not stop with religious criticism, but it always includes political persecution of other religions. The “complete, perfect and detailed” Koran also dictates that all other religions must politically submit in this world. Islam is not just about religion, but politics. The Koran is a political text that contains only negative, pejorative, hurtful, insulting words for the kafir.

Mohammad, whom the most authentic Muslim sources portray as, among other things, a warlord who had entire tribes executed and plundered, their women herded into harems, their children sold into slavery, appears as a peaceful and altruistic ruler whose governance ushered in, among other improvements, a sort of seventh-century “feminism.”

But people like Daniel Pipes, who see Muslims more of a liability than an asset “will actively work to convince as many non-Muslims as possible that Muslims are all closet extremists and fifth columnists”-, which irks Yusuf, that’s why he claims “you are providing ordinary Muslims with every reason to believe that UBL may actually have a point. You are UBL’s greatest asset. In fact, I’d be prepared to put money on the fact that UBL may actually be secretly donating to your websites.” (Wow. Quite a mouthful, Yusuf! For somebody who claims NOT to imbibe it sounds like you had a few too many…)

You (Pipes) and your colleagues promise that you will “meet privately with government officials, editors, producers, academics, and others to explain the real nature of such Islamist organizations”. You will try to convince them that “the Islamists currently dominate the Muslim political scene in every Western society, without exception”.

In other words, you will actively work to convince as many non-Muslims as possible that Muslims are all closet extremists and fifth columnists.

Yusuf doesn’t like that:

Yusuf doesn’t want you to know what Islam has in store for you kuffars. Yusuf wants Australia to become Islamic slowly, by stealth, right Yusuf? Just like his Muslim brother Tariq Ramadan last year in Austria, who proclaimed the most worrying statement: “The real intentions of Euroislam must be concealed from the general public.”

His last trip was Thursday evening to Yeshivat Merkaz HaRav, where his van was found after the attack with ammunition inside.

UN rights chief stepping down

The U.N.’s top human rights official is quitting after only one term.

Louise Arbour, the high commissioner for human rights, says she has told U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon that she will not be available for a second term. Arbour says she will serve until the end of her current four-year term on June 30.

The 61-year-old Canadian legal expert made her decision public in Friday’s session of the 47-nation U.N. Human Rights Council.

Arbour stopped short of telling the council why she is quitting. But, like her predecessors, she has been a frequent target of criticism from a broad range of countries.

Several people have been injured Thursday in what Israeli police are calling a “severe terrorist attack” at a Jewish seminary school in Jerusalem.
The Associated Press reported at least seven people died in an attack by two people. One shooter was dead, the police spokesman told CNN but he did not confirm fatalities.
Police and ambulances are still at the scene.

Rights groups: Humanitarian ‘implosion’ grips Gaza

GAZA (CNN) — Food and jobs are scarce, schools are floundering, hospitals are without electricity and sewage flows freely to the sea.

So said a Thursday report from eight human rights agencies, which say conditions in Gaza are worse today than at any point since the Israeli military began occupying the territory three decades ago.

“The current situation in Gaza is man-made, completely avoidable and, with the necessary political will, can be reversed,” it said.

Israel denounced the 16-page report, saying it is merely defending itself and calling the notion of a humanitarian crisis “fabricated.”

However, Geoffrey Dennis, chief executive of Care International UK, one of the groups behind the report, said the crisis exists. Innocent people are suffering and dying, he said. Read the full report

“It’s unacceptable and that’s why we’re raising the issue,” he said. “It can’t get much worse.”

The report blasts Israel’s blockade of Gaza, saying that by slashing shipments of supplies and forbidding Palestinians to leave for work or healthcare, the Jewish state is imposing hardships on the 1.5 million Palestinians residing in the ravaged territory.

“Gaza has suffered from a long-term pattern of economic stagnation and plummeting development indicators,” according to the report. “The severity of the situation has increased exponentially since Israel imposed extreme restrictions on the movement of goods and people in response to the Hamas takeover of Gaza and to indiscriminate rocket attacks against Israel.”

Obviously it doesn’t occour to these ‘human rights’ freaks that shooting rockets into Israel might have something to do with it.

Matt Drudge, who publishes the political blog the Drudge Report, said that he was e-mailed a widely circulated picture of Obama in a turban and robe by the Clinton campaign.

“Bringing such pictures that are trying to imply that not only is he a foreigner, he is a Muslim is wrong, because that is not what he is,” scolded Sarah Obama.

The photo was taken when he was presented with the outfit while on a visit to his late father’s native Kenya, where many of the family still live. Clinton campaign officials have said they did not condone any such dirty tricks.

Obama’s grandfather had converted to Islam from Roman Catholicism and taken the name Hussein, Sarah Obama said, but his children had inherited only the name, not the religion. Each person should be able to choose how they worshipped, she said.

“In the world of today, children have different religions from their parents,” she said. She, too, is a Christian.

Sarah Obama was the second wife of the candidate’s late grandfather, so is not his biological grandmother. But Barack Obama’s half sister, Auma Obama, said: “By our definition, in our culture, she is his grandmother,” she said.

The intense interest generated by the race for the Democratic nomination — between two candidates who would either be the first female or the first black president — has thrust Obama’s Kenyan family into the spotlight.

“Barack’s done extremely well and we’re very proud of him,” Auma Obama said when asked for a reaction to the losses on Tuesday. “This is like a football match. The game continues.”

The leader of Kenya’s (Muslim) opposition and main-instigator behind the recent riots Riola Odinga claims he is a cousin of US presidential hopeful Hussein Barrak Obammah.

Mr Odinga told the BBC’s The World Today that Senator Obama’s father was his maternal uncle.

Mr Obama’s father – a Kenyan also called Barack – met and married his American mother when they were students at the university of Hawaii.

Mr Obama has previously been identified as a distant cousin of Vice-President Dick Cheney.

Vienna – Austrian rightist Joerg Haider on Tuesday demanded measures against creeping Islamization of the country, including bans of headscarves and the construction of mosques. “We must not tolerate any longer that radical Islamists mock the rule of law in our country and ignore our values and dominant culture,” said Haider, who led the right-wing Freedom Party (FP) to become Austria’s second strongest party and now is governor of the southern Austrian province Carinthia.
Haider demanded that immigrants must adapt to the “Leitkultur,” a term which translates as dominant, or defining culture.
“Those who live here, have to adapt to our dominant culture and accept the rule of law. Who cannot or does not want to do this, has no place here,” Austria’s formerly dominating right-wing figure said in a press release.
Following the refusal of a female defendant in an Islamist terrorism trial to remove her burka as required by Austrian law, Haider suggested a headscarf-ban “following the Dutch example.”
The Netherlands’ general ban on cloaking was an example worth following, Haider said, as it was a way to ban wearing Muslim headscarves or burkas in accordance with the Dutch constitution, Haider said.
The former FP-leader and founder of a Alliance for Austria’s Future, a rivalling rightist party, also suggested extending a ban on the construction of mosques, introduced in the southern province of Carinthia last month, to all of Austria.

Switzerland’s Federal Court has overturned two decisions by local assemblies to refuse citizenship on the grounds of women wearing a religious veil.

Muslim organisations welcomed the rulings, which were announced on Wednesday, as a “step forward”. Naturalisation procedures have been a controversial issue over the past few years.

Under the Swiss federal system, communities also have a say on naturalisation issues.

The court ruling came after two local assemblies in canton Aargau, in northern Switzerland, rejected applications for Swiss citizenship by a Turkish woman and a Bosnian couple last year.

Objectors said the veil was a sign of inequality between men and women and was therefore unconstitutional.

But Switzerland’s highest court found that wearing a veil was an expression of religious beliefs, which are protected under the Swiss constitution. The veil in itself was not a sign of the debasement of women, the judges wrote.

The court urged citizens to look beyond their prejudices and said the fact that a Muslim woman wore a veil did not mean she was flouting the basic values of Swiss society.

Hisham Maizar, president of the Federation of Islamic Organisations in Switzerland, agreed with the court’s ruling.

“I think it is a step in the right direction. We will see what kinds of decisions follow afterwards. We have learned to be a little bit cautious,” he said.

Muqtada Al-Sadr Comatose In Iranian Hospital

Shi’ite cleric and leader Muqtada Al-Sadr was secretly transferred a few days ago from Iraq to Iran for hospitalization as he was comatose.

It was reported that his illness resulted from food poisoning.

Al-Sadr is being treated by Iranian specialists, as well as by Russian doctors brought in to help the Iranian medical staff treat him.

The Swiss based Islamist Tariq Ramadan has been invited by Griffith University to be the main speaker at its “The Challenges and Opportunities of Islam in the West” (3-5 March, 2008).
I was able to get into the congress and hear Ramadan’s speech. It was booked out, but they placed chairs along the walls for more people to hear the messiah of Islamic world domination.

The audience – about 180 people, mostly Muslims, the dignitaries and only a few non-Muslim citizens.

Laurie Ferguson, the government official, told the audience that Ramadan was approached by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship because of his work in the area of Islamic integration into Western societies. A National Action Plan was established by the Howard Government after the 2005 London bombings to help integrate Muslims into Australian Society. They obviously were so scared of possible terror acts that they desperately tried to find help and naturally, who could help better than a man like Ramadan?

“I hate Islam and all the clerics because they limit our freedom every day and their instruction became heavy over us,” said Sara Sami, a high school student in Basra. “Most of the girls in my high school hate that Islamic people control the authority because they don’t deserve to be rulers.”

Atheer, a 19-year-old from a poor, heavily Shiite neighborhood in southern Baghdad, said: “The religion men are liars. Young people don’t believe them. Guys my age are not interested in religion anymore.”
