According to Ali Moore, Islamic banking is one of the fastest growing sectors in finance, fueled by petro-dollars and with Australia being near the hub of Islamic banking for the Asia-Pacific – Malaysia, there seems to be growing pressure on Australian financial institutions to cash in on the “halal dollar”.

Why any non-Muslim would want to defend Islam and Muslims from ridicule and criticism concerning its/their highly imperialist, racist and supremacist positions based on their (un)holy books is beyond me.
The organization Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) that monitors the Fakestinians’ media, has found another example of the Fakestinians’ society not preparing for an eventual peace with Israel. It’s highest Muslim cleric, Tayseer Rajab Tamimi, is at it again, quoting from the books he knows best, the Koran and Hadiths, in his anti-Semitic diatribes against Jews and slurs against the Christian faith.

The far right group responsible for Saturday’s demo against Islamic extremism in Birmingham has revealed it’s opposition to all Muslims practising their faith in Britain.  In an interview with Stirrer editor Adrian Goldberg on Talksport last night, spokesman Paul Ray also admitted their links with the BNP.

As we revealed yesterday, the protest was organised by the English (and Welsh) Defence League.

Despite the group’s claim to be non-political, it’s emerged on Indymedia that their website was set up by Chris Renton, a BNP activist who lives in Weston-super-Mare.

When EDL spokesman Ray was quizzed about this, he acknowledged Renton’s involvement, but insisted, “people’s political views are their own affair.”

During the course of the interview, it became apparent that Ray’s own view of Islamic extremism isn’t limited to suicide bombers and hook handed preachers of hate.

Six dead, 40 wounded in Philippines Muslim terrorist bomb attacks

JOLO, Philippines (AFP) – At least six people were killed and more than 40 wounded by twin bomb blasts in the Philippines Tuesday, in what officials described as coordinated attacks by Al Qaeda-linked militants.

The first bomb exploded in a commercial area on Jolo island, killing six people and wounding around 30, police said. It was followed around two hours later by car bomb blast next to a parked military patrol jeep in Iligan city.

The second blast wounded at least 10 people, including three soldiers, the military said.

Jolo, in the southern Philippines, is a stronghold of Abu Sayyaf Muslim rebels and local anti-terror task force chief Major General Juancho Sabban was quick to point the finger at the militant group.

“This is a signature bomb attack of the Abu Sayyaf,” Sabban said, speaking on local radio.

Muslim extremists jailed for arson attack on publisher’s home 

Three men were today jailed for an arson attack on a publisher after discovering he was going to produce a book about the Prophet Mohammed and his child bride.

Martin Rynja had the door to his home in Lonsdale Square, Islington, north London, doused in diesel and set ablaze in September last year.

Ali Beheshti and Abrar Mirza admitted, and Abbas Taj was found guilty of, planning the attack on Gibson Square Books Ltd.

In the days before the arson attack Jones’ book had been likened to The Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie, which provoked a storm of protest in the Muslim world.

For instance, a BBC profile on Abbas when he succeeded Yasser Arafat as PLO chairman in 2005 writes, “In the light of his origins in Safed in Galilee – in what is now northern Israel – he is said to hold strong views about the right of return of Palestinian refugees.” Answers.com states, “As a result of the Arab-Israel War of 1948, he became a refugee.” Wikipedia articles on the topic say the same – all giving the impression that the Abbas family was driven out and became homeless.
