Geert Wilders, leader of the anti-Islam party PVV, will definitely be prosecuted for inciting hatred against Muslims and Islam, news agency ANP writes on Wednesday.A request by Wilders’ lawyer Bram Moscowicz to have the decision to prosecute quashed has been rejected by the Dutch supreme court.

Amsterdam appeal court said in January Wilders should stand trial for hate speech and discrimination. The public prosecution department had said earlier there were not sufficient grounds to prosecute the MP.

The anti-immigration MP said he expected ‘a political trial’. ‘I am being prosecuted for something millions of Dutch people are thinking… Freedom of speech is being sacrificed on the altar of islam. But I am ready to fight back with my head held high’, he added.

The case of the male breastfeeding fatwa, or religious ruling, just took another strange turn as the scholar who issued the controversial opinion was rehired after being fired by Egypt’s al-Azhar University.

The Cairo Administrative Court overturned the decision by al-Azhar’s disciplinary committee to expel Ezzat Attiya, the president of the hadith department, for issuing a fatwa condoning the symbolic breastfeeding of grown men in 2007.

The court annulled the university’s decision to expel Attiya after he issued a fatwa permitting symbolic breastfeeding of men as a way to loosen the customs of segregation between the sexes in Egypt. 

“No one can argue with a court order,” Sheikh Fawzy el-Zefzaf, head of religion and dialogue committee at al-Azhar, said in a statement Monday. “We respect the Administrative Court and follow its orders without thinking twice.”

Some students at al Azhar University who disagreed with the fatwa nonetheless endorsed the court’s deicision, saying that no Azhar teacher should be expelled.

“I am glad the Attiya is back at Azhar because no sheikh should be expelled from his job for his opinions,” Abdul Qader Ramadan, 23, told Al Arabiya.

The Islamic Party of Turkestan, formerly known as the East Turkestan Islamic Party, is a jihad group composed of Uighurs from Xinjiang province in China which is thought to be operating currently out of Afghanistan or Waziristan.

GHALANAI: At least 13 militants were killed in a clash with security forces following arrest of five burqa-clad Arabs, one Afghan national and a local man in Mohmand Agency on Tuesday.

Four of the five Arabs are Saudi nationals — Ahmed, Ali, Mohammad and Obaidullah — and one Libyan national, Abdullah. The Afghan national has been identified as Habibullah and the local man as Shad Ali. They were detained at the Khapakh checkpost. The Afghan was living in Chakdara area of Lower Dir.

When troops were taking the detained men to Ghalanai, about 60 militants attacked them in an area between Ziyari Kando and Nasapai. The clash continued for more than two hours, an official spokesman said.

Security forces shelled militants’ positions from Ghalanai with mortars and cannons. Thirteen terrorists were killed and the others escaped. Two vehicles of militants were destroyed, the spokesman said.

Security personnel brought the body of one militant to the Ghalanai FC camp; the other bodies were taken away by the attackers. The administration sealed all entry points to the tribal region and beefed up security to apprehend the fleeing militants.

Troops also launched a search operation in Mian Mandi Bazaar.

A jirga of tribal elders will be held in Ghalanai on Wednesday to discuss the presence of militants, including foreigners, in the area.

The spokesman said the detained militants had been hiding in Kareer Qandaharo and Kung Khwayzai for several days and they had attacked the Khapakh post.

‘They came to Pakistan via Afghanistan which is financing them,’ he alleged.

He said SMGs, hand-grenades, Kalashnikovs, passports and other important documents had been seized from them and their vehicle had been impounded.

    A 64-YEAR-OLD Afghan man who came to Australia in 1999 by boat and went on to claim refugee status has been accused of masterminding one of Australia’s largest people-smuggling syndicates.

    The 64-year-old Shepparton man and his 21-year-old son were arrested by Australian Federal Police yesterday following a month-long investigation that began in Indonesia.

    The arrests came as new figures suggested the number of boats stopped by Malaysian authorities is on the increase, adding weight to concerns a crackdown on boatpeople in Indonesia is simply shifting activity to neighbouring Malaysia.

    The men, who were due to appear in Shepparton Magistrates Court today, are accused of conspiring to bring 68 asylum seekers — detained in Indonesia last month — to Australia.

    Islamo agit prop Yusuf Irfan did his own little Abu Laban jihad, when he tried to follow the playbook of the deceased  instigator  of ‘cartoon Rage’,  who was so successful in stirring up kuffar-hatred a few years ago.

    Yusuf tried to whip up a bit of fake outrage over US-troops,  accused  by Al Jizz  of evangelizing and handing out Bibles in Afghanistan. What could be a worse crime?

    Somehow the ummah, which always spins like Iranian centrifuges, just didn’t take notice. Or could it be that they’re just getting tired of their own fanatical frenzy which, according to Winston Churchill, is more dangerous than ‘hydrophobia in a dog?’

     The malevolent Abu Laban  kicked the bucket since,  but the dreaded cartoons of blasphemy made history, when the soldiers of Allah went on  worldwide rampages that saw burning embassies and over hundred people killed in the process  (Muslims usually kill each other, when there are no infidels to murder and terrorize…)

    All in all a classic case of incitement. As a lawyer Yusuf should know which laws apply for subversion and inciting violence . If the Fed’s are not onto him yet, concerned readers should bring it to their attention.

     Irfan should at least be on a watch list. His incitement could have worked. The stirring could have resulted in hundreds, if not thousands of Yusuf’s co-religionists running amok, smashing stuff and killing people.

    Britain is experiencing the greatest exodus of its own nationals in recent history while immigration is at unprecedented levels, new figures show.

    In 2007, 207,000 British citizens — one every three minutes — left the country and currency specialist Foreign Currency Direct has revealed that one in four working Brits are now looking to leave the country for sunnier climes and better job opportunities.

    More British live abroad than any other nationality and the levels of emigration are now the same as those seen in the late-1950s when the £10 Poms left for Australia.

    An increase in tax levelled at high wage earners coupled with rising UK unemployment is thought to be partly behind the mass exodus.

    Actually, the reasons for leaving are far more complex and dire than this site suggests. One motivation is the flood of immigrants combined with the level of crime and the lack of response by the police and government to the breakdown in civil order.
