Four Black Muslims in New York don’t seem to have gotten the memo that the jihad terror threat is all over. “NBC: 4 arrested in plot to bomb NYC targets: Suspects were under heavy surveillance, authorities say,” from NBC News, May 20 (thanks to Pamela):

WASHINGTON – Four men have been arrested in a plot to attack several targets in the New York City area, including synagogues, federal and local authorities told NBC News Wednesday.

Authorities said the four men have long been under investigation and there was little danger they could actually have carried out their plan, NBC’s Pete Williams reported.

Investigators say the four, described as Black Muslims from the Bronx, had planned to place bombs at various targets. But New York city police and federal agents got wind of the plot and kept the men under careful surveillance.

Israeli Vice Premier: Jerusalem Will Not Be Divided!

Jerusalem – The new Israeli government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not give up East Jerusalem to the Palestinians, Netanyahu’s deputy reiterated Wedneday.

‘Jerusalem is protected under the policy of the current government and previous governments,’ Vice Prime Minister Silvan Shalom, of Netanyahu’s ruling, hardline Likud party, told the Knesset, Israel’s parliament.

‘Jerusalem will not be divided,‘ he told a special session commemorating the anniversary according to the Hebrew calender of what Israel celebrates as the ‘re-unification’ of Jerusalem.

Gitmo Prisoner Report Delayed By Pentagon For Fear Of Upsetting Obamessiah

An unreleased Pentagon report provides new details concluding that about one in seven of the 534 prisoners already transferred abroad from the detention center in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, has returned to terrorism or militant activity, according to administration officials.

The conclusion could strengthen the arguments of critics who have warned against releasing any more prisoners as part of President Obama’s plan to shut down the prison by January 2010. Past Pentagon reports on Guantánamo recidivism, however, have been met with skepticism from civil liberties groups and criticized for their lack of detail.

The Pentagon promised in January that the latest report would be released soon, but Bryan Whitman, a Pentagon spokesman, said this week that the findings were still “under review.”

Two administration officials who spoke on condition of anonymity said the report was being held up by Defense Department employees fearful of upsetting the White House, at a time when even Congressional Democrats have begun to show misgivings over Mr. Obama’s plan to close Guantánamo.

The annual report for the Protection of the Constitution revealed that active groups like ‘Milli Görüs’ want to be able to live under the strict Islamic rules.

And the secret service’s yearly report, which will be revealed today by Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble, contains some other schocking [sic] warnings:

• Increasing numbers of Islamic fundamentalists – mostly second generation immigrants and radical converts – are travelling from Germany to Pakistan to visit terror camps run by al-Qaeda and other similar groups.

• German interests at home and abroad are in danger. The report reveals that Germany is an ‘immediate target’ for Islamist terror groups.

I like how black women activists, what we used to call ‘feminists’, meaning they fought for rational rights for women, like the right not to have all your sexual equipment removed for example, are being told that banning this practice is ‘neocolonialist’ and they have to fight the moronic left who pretend to be on the side of the oppressed by not stopping them from being mutilated in the genitals.

Pakistan PM calls on unicorn to fight jihadists

“Terrorists are perverting the teachings of Islam and scholars should speak with one voice against the militants, Gilani said yesterday.” Indeed they should, if terrorists are perverting the teachings of Islam. Yet in all these years since 9/11 we have seen non-Muslims call again and again for the exponents of the true, peaceful, tolerant Islam to step forward and begin to battle the jihadists on Islamic grounds. We have been assured that they are doing so, even though no specifics are ever forthcoming. We have seen Muslims condemn terrorism in vague language that does nothing to refute the jihadists’ explanations of the Islamic justification for their actions. Just today a “moderate Muslim” from Britain has been emailing me to say that my explanation of jihad is wrong, wrong, wrong — yet he has consistently sidestepped my requests that he produce a statement from any generally recognized Islamic authority to the effect that Muslims should not wage war against unbelievers and try to impose Sharia upon them.

I repeat yet again: if anyone can produce evidence of any mainstream Islamic sect or school of Islamic jurisprudence that teaches that Muslims must coexist with non-Muslims as equals on an indefinite basis without trying to subjugate them under Sharia, send it to me at director@jihadwatch.org, and I will publicly retract my statements to the contrary. But I have made this request many times before, and despite the many people who will be reading this who are avid to discredit what I am saying and the jihad and Islamic supremacism, they have never produced this.

Anyway, all this means that Gilani is calling upon the great unicorn to help him against the Taliban. He is appealing to Santa Claus for intervention. Good luck with that.

* Gee, amazing how things repeat themselves. In 1973,  I was a bandleader  in a nightclub in Vientiane, Laos.  In the morning, one could watch the -unmarked- Air America (CIA) planes fly in weapons and supplies for the Royal Laotian army, and at night one could watch their Generals sell those weapons and supplies to their communist enemies, with whom they drank whiskey and cognac under the eyes of the CIA spooks, who were bought off with whores and drugs.

The report also claims that Hamas makes huge profits by selling some of the donated medical supplies. 

And to think that they ran on a platform that Fatah was a deeply corrupted organization.

(IsraelNN.com) The Palestinian Ministry of Health accused Hamas of stealing ambulances donated by Arab countries, painting them black and taking expensive medical equipment, according to the PALPRESS news agency. The report said that Hamas took tons of medicines destined for public hospitals and gave them to medical clinics aligned with their movement or sold them at huge profits.

The Ministry’s spokesman challenged Hamas’ claim they lack medicines and revealed that the organization has a four month supply sitting in warehouses. The spokesman charged Hamas with destroying the health infrastructure in Gaza by replacing experienced doctors with Hamas members who have little medical knowledge and cause many patients to die.

The  school’s fate, already the subject of a religious and cultural uproar, may be decided today.

At the heart of the issue is what some Muslim leaders  claim is discrimination and follows lengthy and at times bitter public debate over the planned Islamic school.
