*  Liberalism is not only a mental disorder, its a death wish.  Here we have a desperate judge  bending over backwards to find excuses for a derailed Muslim. I’m so glad he didn’t blame it on climate change:

FIRED MAN FIRES UP

Tim Blair –

Racism causes heroin addiction in South Australia:

An Iranian refugee tried to set fire to a man in Norwood as a result of racism-related depressionafter September 11.

Kayvan Zarei, 30, of Marden, was found guilty of assault and endangering life in the District Court late last month after he tried to punch a woman and set fire to a witness outside the Norwood Centrelink office in 2006.

The court heard that Iranian-born Zarei, who migrated to Australia with his family in 1999, developed depression and a heroin addiction following a backlash against Muslims in the wake of the September 11, 2001, attacks.

A kindly judge declined to imprison him:

“The offence was committed in circumstances where you had lost your employment,” he said.

“You were suffering withdrawal psychosis from drugs, you were having difficulty coping with the stressors of your life and you reacted erratically, inappropriately, and in what was, on all accounts, a bizarre manner.”

Pakistani jihadist says “we’ll continue our struggle” to impose Sharia on all of Pakistan

And he said: ‘‘People who opposed sharia were neither sincere to Islam nor the nation.’’

He said it.

Honest Ibe Hooper, please go to Peshawar and straighten this guy out. Teach him about the Peaceful, Pluralistic, and Democracy-Compatible Islam in which you so devoutly believe.

Pakistan: “Miscreants” at it again, killing cops and blowing up girls’ school

Of course, had this report explained the stated goals of these “unknown miscreants” — the total application of sharia, including keeping females uneducated — this story would make a bit more sense. “Cop killed, school blown up,” from The News, April 14: via JW

“All your infidel inventions are belong to us…”

Does the Quran mention the speed of light? by Ali Sina.

To Mohammedans, there is no scientific discovery, made by the infidels, that is not mentioned in the Quran by Allah, aka Muhammad. Mention of the speed of light in the Quran, Islamists claim, is one such scientific miracle. Dr. Ali Sina’s smashes the Islamist rubbish regarding the claim… More from Islam Watch>>

Following are excerpts from an interview with Algerian author Anwar Malek, which aired on Al-Jazeera TV on March 3, 2009:

Interviewer: 73% of our viewers believe that the Arabs constitute a great power, and have ability to be influential, and so on.

Anwar Malek: This figure indicates that the Arabs are afflicted with fantasies and obsolete bravado.

Interviewer: False bravado.

Harvard, once a renown institution for higher learning, turns into an Eldorado for Islamic headbangers. Looks like the Marxist professors and ‘Black Power’ have killed the enlightenment. Highly doubtful that this kind of ‘wisdom’  benefits today’s students:

My people, my people:

“Great wisdom” in killing apostates, he said

But of course it was all a misunderstanding. And that’s no surprise. When has a Muslim spokesman in the West who espoused traditional Islamic teachings ever been understood correctly? The poor lambs are forever being misunderstood and misconstrued.

Note also the Muslim student who said Abdul-Basser shouldn’t be chaplain, but “asked that he not be named to avoid conflicts with Muslim religious authorities.” Diana West has some keen observations about that.
