Salma Yaqoob (Birmingham, Sparkbrook Ward, Respect Party) incited Muslims (and others) to violence in Birmingham on Saturday. I don’t know if you have seen the videos/film of Yaqoob raising her fists and screaming remarks at the mainly Muslim crowd. Almost immediately after this, the Muslim men began to riot and physically assault various Birmingham shoppers. The ‘BNP’, at that time, was at the other end of the city. She appears towards the end of this BBC video.

This commenter was actually there, and says:

One of the Islamist speakers, on Saturday night, began foaming and frothing about how some people had dared to say that ‘Islam is a wicked religion’. Then hundreds of Muslim men rampaged through the streets attacking innocent passers-by. That was a good way of showing non-Muslims that Islam is not wicked, wasn’t it? There is more of this. You often see this placard: ‘Behead those who say Islam is evil and violent.’ Most of the riots, acts of violence and ‘wickedness’ carried out by Islamists over the years, in Europe, have been ‘responses’ to non-Muslims saying that ‘Islam is wicked and violent’. I don’t think that these Islamists get the irony of their ‘responses’ to these criticisms.

The Bunglawussi blog features Salma Yaqoob who  lies, denies and distorts all and everything about Muselmanic thuggery and buggery.  In typical Mohammedan fashion, Salma blames the victims as “racist haters”-  nothing that can’t be fixed with more “interfaith”activity…. get in line kafirs, we have the right to rule by the grace of Allah…

Ex-BNP candidate faces “religious hatred” charge because the truth is no defense. But Muslims are still the biggest Heroin dealers:

A former British National Party election candidate was charged yesterday in connection with the distribution of leaflets which alleged Muslims were responsible for the heroin trade. Anthony Bamber, 53, of Greenbank Street, Preston, Lancashire, is accused of incitement to commit religious hatred, police said.

The leaflet was distributed in Burnley and reportedly circulated in other parts of Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire. It urged people to “heap condemnation” on Muslims and said it was time to “apologise” over its claims they were responsible for 95 per cent of the world’s heroin trade.

The Murder of Theo Van Gogh

On the 2nd of November 2004, in Amsterdam, Theo Van Gogh was stabbed and shot dead by a Muslim. Van Gogh was killed because he publicly opposed Islam and made critical comments about it, including a movie on the position of women in Islam. Moderate Muslims condemned his murder, but other Muslims believed it was right. This type of division is often seen in the Muslim community and can lead to confusion as to which of these two groups represents authentic Islam.

What is authentic Islam? This is a question that Muslims may disagree about too, but it certainly is valid to consider the life of Muhammad, the founder of Islam. In fact, any definition of Islam that excludes Muhammad is false. The earliest biography (sirat) of Muhammad’s life is the work of Ibn Ishaq (85-151 A.H.) who was born in Medina. In this we learn how Muhammad dealt with those who opposed him. Here are two examples.

SALIM B. `UMAYR’S EXPEDITION TO KILL ABU `AFAK

Abu `Afak was one of B. (tribe) `Amr b. `Auf of the B. `Ubayda clan. He showed his disaffection when the apostle killed al-Harith b. Samit and said:

Long have I lived but never have I seen
An assembly or collection of people
More faithful to their undertaking
And their allies when called upon
Than the sons of Qayla when they assembled,
Men who overthrew mountains and never submitted.
A rider who came to them split them in two (saying)
“Permitted”, “Forbidden” of all sorts of things.
Had you believed in glory or kingship
You would have followed Tubba`.

The apostle said, “Who will deal with this rascal for me?” Whereupon Salim b. `Umayr, brother of B. `Amr b. `Auf one of the “weepers”, went forth and killed him. Umama b. Muzayriya said concerning that:

You gave the lie to God’s religion and the man Ahmad!
By him who was your father, evil is the son he produced!
A hanif gave you a thrust in the night saying
“Take that Abu `Afak in spite of your age!”
Though I knew whether it was man or jinn
Who slew you in the dead of night (I would say naught)

An Egyptian man has been charged with illegally circumcising a young girl on Thursday, making him the first person to face the law since Cairo criminalized the controversial practice of female genital mutilation, or FGM.

Ahmed Gad al-Karim, 69, was charged with inflicting injury on an 11-year-old girl after a local hospital notified the police when the young girl was brought in suffering from heavy bleeding following a circumcision.

The Upper Egyptian governorate of Minya, 600 kilometers south of Cairo, was told that the girl’s mother gave Karim 150 Egyptian Pounds ($ 27) to circumcise her daughter,who remains in critical condition.

Karim’s arrest is the first since Egypt passed law number 126 in 2008, which criminalizes FGM due to the physical and psychological damages it inflicts on the victims.

In 2008, the law was met with objections by the Muslim Brotherhood and independent MPs, who argued that female circumcision is part of the Shariah law as it protects a woman’s chastity.

But Dar al-Iftaa, the government institution in charge of issuing religious edicts for contemporary issues, ruled that circumcision is not part of Islam and is a cultural practice.

The good news is that there was an arrest.

The bad news is that it appears Egypt has no interest in enforcing the law, as the only reason there was an arrest in this case – a year after the law passed – is because the poor girl was almost killed.
