Sad to say, Germany is also witnessing the re-emergence of a new racism which seeks to deny these Muslims the description of being “German”, especially those of them born in Germany. One should bear in mind that the subject ofAusländerfeindlichkeit, or xenophobia, which was so widely discussed prior to 9/11, has now mysteriously disappeared from the public discourse.

Many active and widely promoted critics of Islam in Germany insist that Islam is foreign and backward-looking, and negate the possibility that Muslim positions might develop and adapt in accordance with the changes of a technologically defined world. German Muslims, especially those Germans who have entered Islam, are described in public discourse not only as “confused misfits” and discredited as “radicals”, they are more and more frequently made responsible for a series of grievances in the Islamic world as a whole.

In this way the idea that most Muslims are mere guests in Germany is reinforced in public. Sometimes it is even claimed that German Muslims ought not to be accommodated until minorities are given similar rights in all Islamic countries.

Imagine! The audacity of these filthy kafirs!  If that doesn’t call for jihad I don’t know what does….

A judge has praised a hero dog after he chased off a sex attacker who indecently assaulted a woman in a park.

Two-year-old Rottweiler Jake was on his usual evening walk with owner Liz Maxted-Bluck, 49, when he heard screaming from a dense woodland and ran to investigate.

He found Esmahil Adhami, 18, molesting a woman he had dragged into the undergrowth.

The fearless hound lunged at the illegal immigrant and chased him away – and then circled the sobbing victim ‘like a guard dog’ until the police arrived.

Exposing the Myth of Moderate Islam

I have always maintained that “moderate Muslim” is an oxymoron. We have two kinds of Muslims: Terrorist Muslims and ignorant Muslims.  The former are those who know Islam well and live by its dictums. The latter have no clue about their religion and have an idealized image of Islam that has no bases in facts.

Mr. Tarek Fatah’s editorial published in National Post on March 12, 2010 confirms my view.  Fatah attended a debate between Dr. Wafa Sultan, the courageous ex-Muslim woman that shook the Arab world when in an Aljazeera televised debate she pointed out that the problem with the Muslim world is Islam, and Dr. Daniel Pipes, a scholar of Islamic history and the director of the Middle East Forum.

In this debate Pipes argued that Islam is not essentially an intolerant religion and that there have been instances when Jews who were persecuted in Christian countries had sought refuge in Muslim lands. Sultan disagreed and reminded her audience that Muhammad had raided several Jewish tribes who lived in Arabia, massacred their unarmed men and allowed his marauding band to rape their women, while always reserving the prettiest for himself.

Upon hearing these comments, Fatah was “traumatized”.  “Even a hardened secular Muslim such as myself was deeply hurt by what I heard that evening,” wrote Fatah.

KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysia’s religion minister on Tuesday defended Islamic laws that allow girls under 16 to marry, amid a controversy over two youngsters who were married off to middle-aged men.

The issue has flared in Malaysia after reports that two girls aged 10 and 11 were wed in the conservative northern state of Kelantan last month. They have now been removed from their husbands.

Rights groups have called for the reform of Islamic laws that allow marriage under the age of 16 if religious officials give their consent. Sharia law runs in parallel with civil law in multi-ethnic Malaysia.

“There is no need to amend the law,” Jamil Khir Baharom, a cabinet minister in charge of religious affairs, told reporters.

Hamas terrorists announced a “day of rage” set for Tuesday in response to Israel reopening an ancient synagogue in the Old City’s Jewish Quarter.

The house of worship was first built in the early 1700s, burned down in 1720, and rebuilt in 1864. Built in the center of the Jewish Quarter, it dominated the Jerusalem skyline (along with the Tiferes Yisrael synagogue.)

Naturally, the Muslims are furious at Jews daring to rebuild a synagogue in a spot that they had lived continuously for well over two thousand years. As I reported a few months ago, what really bugged them was the height of the structure, because in Islamic tradition mosques should always be the tallest buildings in the area. A little Jew-hatred from Hamas

YNet reports:

Amid growing tensions in east Jerusalem, senior Hamas figure Mahmoud al-Zahar leveled scathing criticism, replete with anti-Semitic rhetoric, over the rededication of the Hurva Synagogue in the Old City’s Jewish Quarter.

“You who are opening Hurva are heading towards ruin. Wherever you have been you’ve been sent to your destruction [a pun on the name Hurva – EoZ]. You’ve killed and murdered your prophets and you have always dealt in loan-sharking and destruction,” he said Monday, during a conference of Palestinian groups in Gaza.

“You’re destined to be destroyed. You’ve made a deal with the devil and with destruction itself – just like your synagogue,” al-Zahar said.

Al-Zahar urged the Arab world to respond to “Israel’s crimes and protect the sites that are holy to Muslims and Christians from the Zionists’ racist onslaught”.

The Arabic Hamas article about Zahar’s talk also includes his accusation that Jews have ruined every country in which they have lived.

Al-Zahar is not talking about settlers. He is not talking about Israelis. He is talking about Jews – all of us, everywhere. He repeats with relish the standard blood libels, the standard claims that Jews are simply and irretrievably evil and must therefore be destroyed. This is a clear and straightforward admission of Hamas’s real program. The fact that Hamas is currently not strong enough to carry out that program is beside the point. Only a suicidal Israeli government would allow such a crazed enemy to become strong enough. And only people for whom the murder of Jews is unimportant – or even greatly desirable – can possibly support the strengthening of that crazed enemy.

And don’t forget that the front page of Islamic Jihad’s Saraya.ps online paper still has a link to an article about how Jews are historically evil.

The mask that Palestinian Arabs try to put on claiming that they are not anti-semitic, but only anti-Zionist, has fallen yet again.
