West Midlands police: Far right marches “drive muslims to militancy”

The West Midlands police is building quite a reputation for putting the cart before the horse and turning the truth on its head. We all remember “Undercover Mosque” and the lawsuit against the brave people from Channel 4 who produced it. The latest outrage is surely that the British police is now actively protecting hateful jihadists who insult returning soldiers in the vilest way and burn poppies in front of patriotic Brits.

(Reuters) – Demonstrations by far right groups like the English Defence League (EDL) act like recruiting sergeants for Islamic militants across Britain, the head of a regional counter terrorism unit said on Friday.

Detective Superintendent John Larkin from West Midlands police said EDL marches and counter-demonstrations often ended in violence, with evidence they end up pushing some members of the community towards radicalisation.

“In some areas, we have evidence that once they have gone … there’s fertile ground for those groups (to say) ‘this is the way white Western society sees us,'” he told BBC Radio.

“And that’s a potential recruiting carrot for people and that’s what some of these radicalisers look for — they look for the vulnerability, for the hook to pull people through and when the EDL have been and done what they’ve done, they perversely leave that behind.”

Marisol’s point here about the statement that Muslim dress makes about Western society is important. In addition, it is worth noting how this is yet another illustration of a fake Muslim hate crime. Portraying oneself as a victim so as to gain the special protections and freedom from scrutiny that victim status offers — it’s a growth industry.

Obviously, she is an Aussie-Anglo ‘revert’ to Islam and wrapped in the freedom sack, so the much maligned copper couldn’t even tell what race she was. On top of all, Islam is not a race, but an ideology, so it should not even come into the equation.  Gaming the system is an old trick  that worked often for the soldiers of allah,  but it didn’t work for this rabid dole-bludger. Cenk Uygur:  ‘Our Justice System Worked’

While most of the country took a collective gasp over the verdict in the trial of al-Qaeda terrorist Ahmed Ghailani, the “secular” Muslim Cenk Uygur spun the disconcerting outcome as a success story for the Obama administration.

“If we know anything,” former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, once observed “we know that weakness is provocative.” Mired in political correctness, Britain’s “elites” apparently prefer to think of displays of weakness as “outreach.”

Britain’s “elites” seem not to notice Islamism, but prefer to believe that if those protesting against Islamism could be silenced, the problem of radical Islam would disappear. It was this mindset that saw parliament introducing a religious hate speech law, aimed at silencing criticism of Islam and Islamism, in the aftermath of the 7/7 bombings. Britain’s establishment, in other words, has busied itself clearing a very large space in which the Islamists can operate.

Last month, the British coalition government unveiled The Strategic Defense and Security Review [pdf]. The defense budget will be slashed by 8% over the next four years. Britain’s flagship HMS Ark Royal, Harrier jump jets, replacement Nimrod spy planes will be axed, as will 42,000 jobs in the armed forces and the Ministry of Defense .

The cuts are so severe that top military officers are said to be considering threatening resignation if the budget cuts go ahead as planned. US Secretary if Stare Hillary Clinton has also aired the US administration’s concernover the size of the cuts.

Pakistan: Man accused of blasphemy shot dead after being released from jail

“No Muslim tolerates a man who commits blasphemous acts.”

We all remember the two Christians gunned down outside the courtroom after being acquitted of blasphemy, or the prosecutor in another blasphemy trial snarling “I can’t tolerate to see this blasphemer standing in front of me; I really want to kill him with my own hands”.
And now we hear a police inspector blithely telling us that “No Muslim tolerates a man who commits blasphemous acts”. Combine this with the braying crowds outside the courtrooms and we wonder why there’s even a need for Blasphemy Laws when obviously the Pakistanis are managing tremendously well without the help of honest judicial process.  This is a recurring theme. Back in the 80s, a Pakistani air-force officer converted to Christianity and was imprisoned for the crime of apostasy. Bowing to international pressure, the local court acquitted him, but he was shot outside the courtroom just after his release.
