The government of Indonesia is investigating whether a town in West Java has violated national law by introducing Islamic law.
The mayor of Tasikmalaya has been called to Jakarta to explain the content of a regulation that declares that women should cover their heads and people should live in an Islamic manner.
The new regulations come as a result of pressure from the Islamic Defenders Front, a group known for violent acts against religious minorities in the multi-religious nation.
Indonesia is a secular country, but in recent years there have been 79 regulations related to Islamic law introduced in several regions.
No way to tell yet how this assurance will play out in light of the new powers the military has claimed for itself. I won’t hold my breath.  There is less than a fifty-fifty  chance  that the military will hand power to the Muslim Brotherhood to turn Egypt into (another) totalitarian sharia hell. Either way,  another war against ISRAEL  is just around the corner.  The  debate in the video below pits the Egypt that once was against the revival of Islamofascist madness that consumes the whole Middle East. They claim they are a peaceful non-violent movement.  However, while viewing the diagram on the overhead projector showing the structure of the Sharia governing cabinet, it listed a private secretary in charge of Jihad.

Mr Wilders is free to say what he likes …. yadda yadda… But the irony is that he is courting America with a book irrelevant to the American experience.
All-American Muslim, last year’s reality TV show set in Dearborn, featured middle-class Muslims intermarrying, having babies, throwing parties and obsessing over American football and country music. Mainstream Muslim Americans by and large accepted it as accurate. It certainly didn’t fit Mr Wilders’s vision of the parallel society he sees being established in Europe.

A 24-year old man was hacked to death allegedly by the brother of a Muslim girl and his associates for marrying her, triggering tension in Idalakudi area of the district, police said.Ramesh, a goods carrier operator based here, had married the girl belonging to Idalakudi some months ago though her family had opposed it, they said.
On June 14, two persons had stopped Ramesh’s vehicle and taken him to Idalakudi where a seven-member gang including the brother of his wife attacked him with iron rods, police said, adding he succumbed to injuries at a hospital yesterday….
FAILED asylum seekers who have been abusive and threatened to destroy property in detention are being released on bridging visas while they appeal to stay permanently.
It comes as the government has revealed it cost $185,000 to fly asylum seekers from Cocos Island to Christmas Island this month after four boats arrived direct from Sri Lanka.One 30-year-old who was taken to Silverwater jail after the Villawood Detention Centre riot in April last year has been granted a visa.
He was later cleared by police over the riots but an Ombudsman’s report noted the man was involved in “two incidents of aggressive or abusive behaviour including threats to destroy property.”
Release is being considered for another 30-year-old long-term detainee who has been involved in several fights, escaped detention and who has been abusive to staff.

Abuja, Nigeria (CNN) — A militant Islamist group claimed responsibility Monday for bombings the day before that the Nigerian Red Cross said left 50 people dead at three Christian churches in Nigeria.
The stated goal of the program, which the Arab News daily in December reported cost more than 20 billion riyals ($5.3 billion), is to prepare Saudi nationals to replace expatriate workers in better-paid technical jobs in the kingdom, reducing unemployment.
If education had any impact on the betterment of these people, western educated Arabs would be the most productive people in the world. Sadly, Islam stifles mental growth and the retrograde force of the religion paralyzes all prospects of  improvement.
