Prime Minister Imran Khan said Monday Pakistan had started its attempts to unite the entire Muslim world under one banner against Islamophobia and would soon warn the United Nations and European Union to stop the disrespect of Islamic figures.
“We have started contacting Muslim heads of states and will get them united on a single approach and move the United Nations and European Union with it,” the premier said while addressing a ceremony held for laying the foundation stone of the South Punjab Secretariat.

I often wonder how the United States has managed to survive and thrive given their record of electing idiots to “look after them”. Mind you, other “democracies” seem to have the same fault; witness ours, the UK, New Zealand and many others. This time they have taken the cake. As H.L Mencken said:
“On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron”.
The “climate emergency”, circus reached another level of absurdity when it was stated that the world not only had to “reduce emissions” but had to “remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere” not recognising that it is the essence of all life and without it we would not be here. Certain billionaires want to get in on the act as well. One wants to dump calcium carbonate dust into the upper atmosphere to reflect the suns energy and “cool the planet” and another has offered $100 million for someone who works out how to remove carbon dioxide from the air.
Those who mouth such absurdities are either evil or thick and are beyond any attempts to enter into any dialogue that contradicts their dogma.
The late Sir Roger Scruton called them “unscrupulous optimists”, people who
“believe that the difficulties and disorders of humankind can be overcome by some large scale adjustment: it suffices to devise a new arrangement, a new system, and people will be released from their temporary prison into a realm of success. When it comes to helping others, therefore, all their efforts are put into the abstract scheme for human improvement and none whatsoever into the personal virtue that might enable them to play the small part that is given to humans to play in bettering the lot of their fellows”. The only thing left to those who look at this drivel and wonder how anyone should be expected to treat it seriously is to ridicule it: H L Mencken again,

A leftist mob inspired by Black Lives Matter seized effective control of Portland nearly a full year ago. Since then, it has rioted incessantly. At last Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler says he is going to take back what’s left of the city on behalf of civilization:

“Together we can make a stand … and take our city back.”
Lacking the spine to confront Black Lives Matter, Wheeler squeaked, “If BLM leaders can show the courage to stand up to this mob, then we all should.”
For all intents and purposes, BLM is the mob, even in Portland, where few blacks live. Antifa riots on Black Lives Matter’s behalf.

The UK was quick to add the country to its “red list”, effectively banning travel except in very limited circumstances. In Canada, flights from India and Pakistan were stopped for 30 days. France has also tightened requirements for travellers from India, as well as from a string of other countries including Brazil, Chile and Argentina.

You were Génération Identitaire’s spokesperson, but on March 3 the government banned your organization. What does this mean in practice?
Génération identitaire is no longer active. The ban was pronounced in the Council of Ministers and we have filed two cases against that decision with the Council of State, which is France’s highest administrative court: the first one is a petition for suspension with the aim of suspending the ban for the time it will take the Council of State to rule over our second case concerning the legality of the ban. The petition for suspension will be judged on April 30 and we will then know whether Génération Identitaire will be able to continue its activity during the proceedings, which could last at least six months to a year.
Do you have confidence in the Council of State as the highest instance of administrative justice? Many in France believe that the Council of State is not totally independent of the government.
That is a pretty hard question to answer. If the judgment is rendered based on the law, we are extremely confident. However, if politics takes precedence over the law, then we have every reason to be concerned. In theory, the Council of State is supposed to base its rulings on the law, and we will have a first look at this on April 30. The ruling on our petition for suspension procedure will be decided on collegially by three judges, which happens extremely rarely since most often there is only one judge to make such a decision. This shows that the case is taken very seriously.
