To protest against Kuffarphobia – the irrational fear and loathing of non-Muslims by Islamists.

To protest against the persecution of non-Muslims via Sharia law in Islamic countries.

To protest against the under-reporting or even total lack of reporting about such persecution in Western media.

To protest against the Islamisation of Europe by the changing of existing Western laws and practices to suit Islamic practices, in the name of “multicultural diversity”.

To protest against the entry of Turkey into the European Union especially now it has elected an openly Islamist Prime Minister and government who wish to replace secularism with Sharia law.

To protest against the second-class status of women in Islamic countries, particularly regarding sexuality, jurisprudence and education.

Millions of non-Muslims are systematically being persecuted because they live under Sharia law in Islamic countries.

In Egypt people are being imprisoned for leaving Islam, an offence under Sharia law, indeed this is a capital offence in many Islamic countries such as Saudi Arabia.

In Malaysia Islamic apostates are unable to have “Islam” removed from their official documents because it is now against Malaysia’s laws to leave Islam. This denies a person’s fundamental rights even to the funeral of their choice.

In Indonesia Christians and other non-Muslims are persecuted to such an extent that tens of thousands have been displaced. Enforced emplantation of Muslims in Indonesian New Guinea is underway which is tantamount to ethnic cleansing.

Similar ethno-religious cleansing is taking place in Kosovo where Christian Serbs are being ousted from that part of Serbia, seemingly aided and abetted by the United Nations and NATO.

In the Middle East Copts and Assyrians are being persecuted by Islamists with the apparent approval of governments in that region.

Armenians were systematically eliminated, simply for being non-Muslims, by one of the grossest acts of genocide. Although perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire this act of mass murder is denied by the Turkish authorities. Turkey wishes to join the European Union even though denial of genocide is illegal in several EU countries, notably Belgium.

In Thailand and the Philippines terrorist murders are enacted on a daily basis by Islamists seeking to set up Islamic states.

Elsewhere Hindus, Sikhs, Zoroastrians and Buddhists are oppressed and subjugated by Islamic authorities. The list seems endless.

Disgracefully, most of this Islamic persecution is never reported in the Western Media.

Political parties are banned, but members of any political party may attend the demonstration as individuals provided they adhere to the rules of the demonstration.

What Free Speech Means, And What It Doesn’t

Denying Stewart a platform at Hofstra would not impede her right to free speech. Neither would disinviting Ahmadinejad from Columbia. Both have the right to speak their minds anywhere they can freely access. The fact that Columbia and Hofstra chose to associate themselves with terrorist sympathizers leaves them both open for criticism from others exercizing their own freedom to speak. That criticism does not attack free speech but celebrates it, as well as demanding some long-overdue accountability to the act of publication.

This time it’s the brutal murder of a 16-year-old girl in the Gaza Strip. Her crime: “dishonoring” her family. Of course, there is no way to verify the allegations against her and other females who have fallen victim to “honor killings.”

The gruesome murder occurred a few weeks ago, when the girl – who looks much younger than her age – was dragged into the street and handed to an mob of angry young men.

Eyewitnesses told The Jerusalem Post that many of those who participated in the lynch were Hamas members and relatives of the girl.

A five-minute video obtained by the Post over the weekend reveals the savagery and mercilessness of the killers.

In the context of the Hamas-Fatah power struggle, Fatah
officials and security agents have distributed a video
documenting the alleged killing of a 16-year-old girl in the
Gaza Strip.

But it has emerged that that the footage was taken in Iraq,
where a 16-year-old girl was killed for “dishonoring” her
family.

Fatah claimed that the victim was Nahed Juha, a 16-year-old
girl who was indeed killed together with her two sisters,
Lina and Suha, in the Gaza Strip last July.

Fatah security officials even provided reporters
with two “eyewitnesses” who claimed that that had witnesses
the lynching of Nahed Juha.

For the past few years, both Fatah and Hamas have been
involved in a smear campaign against each other. The two
parties have devoted tremendous efforts to manipulate the
media, often feeding reporters with false information.

Last week Fatah managed to sell another hoax to reporters
when it claimed that its security forces had discovered
rocket launchers in Bethlehem that were directed against
Jerusalem. It later turned out that the “rockets” were
simple pipes that has been set up by children who were
trying to imitate Hamas.

Hamas and Fatah loyalists clashed Saturday at a mosque in the southern Gaza Strip, leaving nine people wounded in the latest flare-up of violence between the two factions, witnesses and medical officials said.

The melee erupted after Hamas tried to replace an independent cleric at a mosque in the town of Khan Yunis with one of its own religious leaders, witnesses said.

What began as fistfights soon degenerated into face-offs with stones and knives. Hamas security officials who arrived at the scene fired rounds in the air, then came under fire themselves from a nearby area, witnesses said.

Medical sources in Khan Yunis said nine people suffered knife and gunshot wounds, including two who were critically hurt.

Hamas security officials were sealing the area and pressing the local clan to hand over the people who opened fire on Hamas forces.

Security officials confirmed a clash, but wouldn’t give details. The Hamas Interior Ministry, which is responsible for security in Gaza, said an unspecified number of unidentified people were arrested.

The Taliban has published a shadow Afghan constitution outlining an alternative hardline government to that of President Hamid Karzai.
The 23-page document envisages a country where women would remain veiled and uneducated, “un-Islamic thought” would be banned and human rights would be ignored if “contrary with the teachings of Islam”.

The Constitution of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, comes days after the Defence Secretary, Des Browne, said that the Taliban will need to take a role in the peace process in Afghanistan.

On freedom of speech the Taliban charter, which is written in Pashto and Dari, is clear: “Every Afghan has the right to express his feelings through his views, writings or through other means in accordance with the law.”

However “un-Islamic thought” is strictly forbidden and “violators will be punished according to sharia” – under the Taliban’s strict interpretation of Islamic teachings.

It provides for the education of women but only within the limits of sharia and stresses that the government will enforce compliance with Sharai Hejab – that women cover fully cover themselves.

The document also stresses the importance of jihad as an obligation for every citizen. It offers the Taliban’s support for the United Nations and upholds human rights – “until it is contrary with the teachings of Islam”.

In reality, of course, the Sharia is not an invention of the Taliban.

Chechnya: Imam killed in Russia after speaking out against Islamic militants

MAKHACHKALA, Russia – Gunmen killed a Russian imam on his way to morning prayers in a restive southern region Saturday, a day after he spoke out against Islamic extremists, police said.

Gadzhimagomedov was a vocal critic of Islamic extremism who had spoken out against militants during a service at the mosque Friday, police said. They said the killing was “clearly a revenge attack” by Islamic militants.

In July, a deputy chief mufti at the central mosque in the provincial capital, Makhachkala, was killed, along with his driver, by a roadside bomb blast.

Thailand: Police captain killed in ‘restive’ South

(BangkokPost.com) – A police captain was killed in Yala province by a group of insurgents on Saturday morning.

Pol Cap Toranit Srisuk, 28, was ambushed at around 8.40am, when he led 12 police officers to patrol a road along borderline between Ban Sai Surant village and Ban Pakdee village in Bannang Sata district.

Those who survived the ambush said at least 10 insurgents hidden on a hill began firing into the security forces, prompting officers to fire back. They exchanged fire for about 20 minutes, before the insurgents fled away into the wood.

More than 100 security forces are spreading into the area in an attempt to track down the insurgents.

* Chasing all these misunderstanders of Islam through the jungle seems to be quite a task.

Maldives: Malé Explosion Injures Twelve Tourists

Twelve tourists have been injured in an explosion in the Malé’s Sultan Park, in what appears to be a planned attack on the Maldives Tourism industry.
One Brit, one Japanese and eight Chinese tourists have been confirmed among the injured. All are believed to be from the Full Moon, Baros and Soneva resorts.

“This looks like an attack by jihadists on our tourism industry,” the source said.

Another Form of Terror: Islamania Calls For Censorship

Some of the world’s most repressive governments are attempting to use a controversy over a Swedish cartoon to provide legitimacy for their suppression of their critics in the name of respect for Islam. In particular, the Organization of the Islamic Conference is seeking to rewrite international human rights standards to curtail any freedom of expression that threatens their more authoritarian members.

In August, Swedish artist Lars Vilks drew a cartoon with Mohammed’s head on a dog’s body. He is now in hiding after Al Qaeda in Iraq placed a bounty of $100,000 on his head (with a $50,000 bonus if his throat is slit) and police told him he was no longer safe at home. As with the 2005 Danish Jyllands-Posten cartoons, and the knighting of Salman Rushdie, Muslim ambassadors and the OIC have not only demanded an apology from the Swedes, but are also pushing Western countries to restrict press freedom in the name of preventing “insults” to Islam.

The Iranian foreign ministry protested to Sweden, while Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad asserted that “Zionists,” “an organized minority who have infiltrated the world,” were behind the affair. Pakistan complained and said that “the right to freedom of expression” is inconsistent with “defamation of religions and prophets.” The Turkish Ministry of Religious Affairs called for rules specifying new limits of press freedom.

These calls were renewed in September when a U.N. report said that Articles 18, 19 and 20 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights should be reinterpreted by “adopting complementary standards on the interrelations between freedom of expression, freedom of religion and non-discrimination.” Speaking for the OIC, Pakistani diplomat Marghoob Saleem Butt then criticized “unrestricted and disrespectful enjoyment of freedom of expression.”

The issues here go beyond the right of cartoonists to offend people. They go to the heart of repression in much of the Muslim world. Islamists and authoritarian governments now routinely use accusations of blasphemy to repress writers, journalists, political dissidents and, perhaps politically most important, religious reformers.

On Sept. 22, three political dissidents in Iran, Ehsan Mansouri, Majid Tavakoli and Ahmad Ghassaban, were put on trial for writing articles against “Islamic holy values.” Iran’s most prominent dissident, Akbar Ganji, was himself imprisoned on charges including “spreading propaganda against the Islamic system.” In August, Taslima Nasreen, who had to flee Bangladesh for her life because her feminist writings were accused of being “against Islam,” was investigated in India for hurting Muslims’ “religious sentiments.”

Egypt has been unusually active of late in imprisoning its critics in the name of Islam. On Aug. 8, it arrested Adel Fawzy Faltas and Peter Ezzat, who work for the Canada-based Middle East Christian Association, on the grounds that, in seeking to defend human rights, they had “insulted Islam.” Egyptian State Security has also intensified its interrogation of Quranist Muslims, whose view of Islam stresses political freedom. One of them, Amr Tharwat, had coordinated the monitoring of Egypt’s June Shura Council elections on behalf of the pro-democracy Ibn Khaldun Center, headed by prominent Egyptian democracy activist Saad Eddin Ibrahim. Prominent Egyptian ‘blogger’ Abdel Kareem Soliman was sentenced earlier this year to three years for “insulting Islam.”

Saudi Arabian democracy activists Ali al-Demaini, Abdullah al-Hamed, and Matruk al-Faleh were originally imprisoned on charges of using “unIslamic terminology,” such as ‘democracy’ and ‘human rights,’ when they called for a written constitution. Saudi teacher Mohammad al-Harbi was sentenced to 40 months in jail and 750 lashes for “mocking religion” after discussing the Bible in class and saying that the Jews were right. He was released only after an international outcry led King Abdullah to pardon him. The Indonesian Ulema Council, considered the country’s highest Islamic authority, issued a fatwa banning the Liberal Islamic Network, which teaches an open interpretation of the Koran. Then the radical Islam Defenders Front has threatened Ulil Abshar Abdulla, the network’s founder.

Of course, these are not the only threats in repressive states’ arsenals. In Egypt activists and critics have been imprisoned for forgery and damaging Egypt’s image abroad. Saudi Arabia and Iran use a host of restrictive measures. But blasphemy charges are a potent weapon and are used systematically to silence and destroy religious minorities, authors and journalists and democracy activists. As the late Naguib Mahfouz, the only Arab winner of the Nobel Prize in literature, and whose novel Children of Gebelawi was banned in Egypt for blasphemy, put it: “no blasphemy harms Islam and Muslims so much as the call for murdering a writer.”

Repressive laws, supplemented and reinforced by terrorists, vigilantes and mob violence, are a fundamental barrier to open discussion and dissent, and so to democracy and free societies, within the Muslim world. When politics and religion are intertwined, there can be no political freedom without religious freedom, including the right to criticize religious ideas. Hence, removing legal bans on blasphemy and ‘insulting Islam’ is vital to protecting an open debate that could lead to other reforms.

If, in the name of false toleration and religious sensitivity, free nations do not firmly condemn and resist these totalitarian strictures, we will abet the isolation of reformist Muslims, and condemn them to silence behind what Sen. Joseph Lieberman has aptly termed a “theological iron curtain.”

The three could soon face the firing squad after Indonesia’s Supreme Court rejected their final appeals.

The three played key roles in the 2002 terrorist attacks on the resort island of Bali, which killed 202 people, including 88 Australians.

Coogee Dolphins member Eric de Haart lost teammates Clint Thompson and Josh Iliffe in the deadly car bombings in Kuta.

Mr de Haart said he was “gobsmacked” by Amnesty’s action.

“I honestly can’t believe they would expect anyone who has had anything to do with Bali, or who has been associated with Bali, to support that motion,” Mr de Haart said.

“That’s just beyond belief.”

He said the bombers had laughed at their crimes and shown no remorse.

“There certainly couldn’t have been anyone from Amnesty International walking through the morgue like I did, trying to sort through body parts trying to identify my mates.

Malaysian PM: Western nations misunderstand Islam

New York – Malaysia’s Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi called Friday for increasing dialogue to repair misunderstandings by the West about Islam.

‘The main cause is the misperception in the West that Islam promotes exclusively and encourages extremism,’ Badawi said in an address to the UN General Assembly.

He said action should be taken to generate ‘greater understanding’ between civilizations and cultures and dialogue to establish ‘the truth that Islam is a religion which espouses universalism, not exclusivity, and tolerance, not bigotry.’

He said religion cannot be blamed for what he called the existing disputes among nations.

Following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks against the United States and subsequent attacks in London, Madrid and Bali, Islamic groups and governments have campaigned to change the perception that terrorists were inciting Muslims to fight the West.

Seven Questions for Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia:

1. At independence, Malaysia (or, as it was then known, Malaya) did not have a Muslim majority. There has been a steady rise in the percentage of Muslims, compared to the indigenous tribes, the Hindus, and the Chinese. What explains this demographic shift?

2. Singapore broke off from Malaysia and established a separate state. What were the main reasons the Chinese of Singapore so desperately sought to be independent of Malaysia?

3. The Bumiputra system, was established to favor in education and in the economy, supposedly, the “sons of the soil” or the indigenes. The “sons of the soil” tribes, however, are mostly Christian. Yet the Bumipura system, as every Chinese and Hindu in Malaysia knows, favors only one group: Muslims. Why is that, and do you now believe it is time to assure all citizens of Malaysia equality before the law by ending the Bumiputra preferments for Muslims in Malaysia?

4. Your predecessor, Mahathir Mohamed, famously gave an address to the Organization of Islamic Conference, in which he told a crowd of enthusiastic delegates that Muslims must learn to rival the West in their scientific attainments, but the only attainments to which he made reference were those of military technology. There was no mention of any encouragement of Muslim study of the nature of the atom, or of the structure of DNA, or of fractals, or how the brain works, or anything at all that might be described as science for its own sake. There was only mention of military technology, of weaponry. Why do you think that was?

5. Chok Tok On, Prime Minister of Singapore, in a speech he gave in Washington a few years ago, said this:

THE ‘mysterious sheik’ behind the Australian chapter of Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir has revealed the organisation’s support for military coups and revolutions to overthrow non-Muslim governments worldwide.

Ismail Al Wahwah, who was little known until last month when he was banned from a Hizb ut-Tahrir conference in Indonesia, spoke out on an Arabic radio program that revealed him as the “active member” of the group in Australia.

Cronulla revenge attack plotter jailed for nine months…

The Cronulla ‘riots’-, a demonstration by Australians against constant attacks by Muhammedan rapists and child-molesters was falsely portrayed as ‘racist’ by a treasonous MSM around the world. The real riots happened afterwards, when large numbers of weapon carrying Muhammedans charged out of the mosques and raced 70 cars through the suburbs unhindered by a paralyzed police force.

Churches were shot up and burned down, Australians were randomly beaten, shot and stabbed, more than a hundred cars were smashed up and a neutered, disarmed citizenry looked on in disbelief as the Muhammedan mob run amok and their police did nothing to stop it.

Jeffrey Ismail

A MAN who used his mobile telephone to rally people for the Cronulla riot revenge attacks was sentenced to the maximum penalty of 12 months jail today.

Jeffrey Ismail, 29, of Punchbowl plead guilty to two counts of using a carriage service to menace/harass/offend.

This afternoon lawyers said he would appeal the sentence. A hearing will be held at Campbelltown Distrcit Court next month.

Police intercepted Ismail’s telephone conversations on December 12, 2005, one night after the Crounlla riots erupted.

Ismail was heard to tell people he believed members of the Maroubra-based gang the Bra Boys were coming to attack the Lakemba mosque.

In other phone calls, Ismail was talking about organising a convoy of cars which left Lakemba to travel to Cronulla.

He also used the school-ground code of Pig Latin to tell people to bring shanks and bats with them, the court heard.

Although Ismail plead guilty to the offences in August, he tried to withdraw his plea today but the application was rejected by Magistrate Paul Falzon.

Mr Falzon said the use of his telephone for this criminal activity was “utterly offensive and intolerable”.

He sentenced Ismail, a father of three, to 12 months in jail, with a non-parole period of nine months.

He was also placed on a two-year good behaviour bond to begin on the date of his release.

The maximum penalty for the Commonwealth charge is 12 months jail and/or a $6600 fine.

As Ismail was taken into custody by Corrective Services staff, he gestured to the public gallery with his middle finger.

Ismail will appeal the decision and is expected to ask for bail this afternoon.

King Hussein of Jordan was prepared to make Yasser Arafat, the Palestinian leader, his deputy prime minister, according to newly released secret documents.

The proposal was made through an intermediary in 1974 as the king faced the prospect of a Palestinian government in exile attempting to divide his country.

The Jordanian West Bank territories — where most Palestinian refugees lived — were occupied by Israel as a result of the Yom Kippur war in October 1973

Mr Arafat, as leader of the Palestinian Liberation Organisation, was agitating for their return to form an independent state. He was backed by Egypt, Syria and Saudi Arabia.

King Hussein feared the break-up of his kingdom, with territory on both sides of the Jordan river being ceded to the Palestinians, and sought to woo Arafat in 1974, according to files released yesterday at the National Archives.

However, the proposal appears to have led nowhere and later that year the king conceded the prospect of a separate Palestinian state.

Two documents that were allegedly seized inside Preventative Security Force headquarters provide insight into the method used to collect information about the sexual conduct of the top officials.

According to one document, entitled “A Large Number of Homosexuals,” a number of wealthy and influential figures in the Gaza Strip had formed a “gang” for practicing homosexual intercourse.

“Some of them were summoned for questioning and they admitted to having sexual intercourse with boys and adult males,” the document, dated May 12, 2005, stated.

“Some of them had individual sex, while others preferred group sex. Some of them paid money for sex, while others performed sexual intercourse with males in front of their wives.”

Sarkozy calls for UN-led “new world order”

New York (dpa) – The United Nations should avail itself as an instrument for a “new world order of the 21st century,” French President Nicolas Sarkozy said Tuesday in his first address to the General Assembly.

Sarkozy, who won the presidency this year on a strong reform platform to modernize France, urged the world body to embark on programmes ranging from equal wealth distribution to fighting corruption in his speech full of references to France’s past revolutionary ideals.

“In the name of France, I call upon all states to join ranks in order to found the new world order of the 21st century on the notion that the common goods that belong to all of humankind must be the common responsibility for us all,” he told the General Assembly.

The UN should ensure access for all human beings to vital resources, such as water, energy, food, medication and knowledge, he said. He called for “more morality” in “financial capitalism” and a fairer distribution of profits, earnings in commodities, raw materials and new technologies.

“There must be a change of mindset and behaviour,” Sarkozy said in a long list of demands to the international community.

Known for his admiration of the United States and its culture, Sarkozy said France will remain loyal to its friends and the values it shares with them.

But he warned that loyalty should not be equated with submission, a reference to Paris’ disagreement with the US-led war in Iraq.

“What I want to say to the world is that France, faithful to its friends, stands ready to talk to all people, on every continent,” he said.
