What law and what are European democratic values? The EU’s conception of “democracy” is identical to North Korea’s. A top down dictatorship professing to represent “the people.”

ACTUAL democracy is called “far right” or “populist” and is to be condemned and dismissed in favour of the former.

As Theresa May prepares to visit Poland and the European Commission prepares to launch sanctions against it, the European Parliament’s chosen Brexit negotiator is demanding the Prime Minister condemn Warsaw to prove Britain’s loyalty to “EU values”.

Former Prime Minister of Belgium Guy Verhofstadt told The Telegraph he expects the British premier to demonstrate her country will remain loyal to “European liberal democratic values” — as defined by EU insiders like himself — after Brexit.

“The current Polish government is guilty of backsliding on the rule of law and undermining European democratic values,” alleged the 64-year-old MEP.

“I hope Theresa May will firmly raise this issue in Warsaw. This visit is an important first test of the UK’s pledge to defend European liberal democratic values, as we move forward together to build a strong security partnership,” he said. 

Surreal. The EU is the largest criminal racket on the planet – and it’s ‘concerned’ about democracy and the rule of law in Poland? What a joke!

Car deliberately hits Melbourne pedestrians; police do not suspect terrorism

They can’t . Because if they did, they  would have to start doing something about it.

A car deliberately plowed into pedestrians injuring 19 people at a crowded intersection in the Australian city of Melbourne on Thursday, but police said they did not believe the attack to be terror-related.

In January, four people were killed and more than 20 injured when a man deliberately drove into pedestrians just a few hundred meters away from Thursday’s attack. That too was not a terror attack.

“At this time, we don’t have any evidence or intelligence to indicate a connection with terrorism,” said acting chief Commissioner Shane Patton, who added that the driver suffered mental health issues.

The driver of the car has been arrested by police.

Two people taken to hospital so far. One is a toddler with serious head injuries.

A mob of unruly young people recently turned up at Werribee house party, where they trashed the place before rampaging through nearby streets. When police arrived, they were pelted with rocks.

It was quite a night in the old home town:

Pepper spray residue, blood splatter, graffiti and broken glass were left in the extensively-damaged three-bedroom property, while some walls had holes kicked in them.

Terrified neighbours cowered in their homes at the height of the violence, trying to avoid the gangs, who used poles to smash car windows and tried to kick down doors.

“It was terrifying … I grabbed my young daughter and went to the back room so that way, if they got in, we’d be harder to get to,” neighbour Kristy told AAP. “They were looking for trouble.”

Friday dawned to reveal cars along the street with smashed windows and rocks littering the road.

Neighbours say up to 40 youths from the house started roaming the streets, throwing rocks and smashing cars.

This is terrible. Who are these youths? Where did they come from?

It’s understood two gangs of African youths, one known as Westside Crew and another as Menace to Society, were involved in the riot.

Interesting. Despite the attendance of eight officers with additional support from tactical police and helicopter and dog squads, no arrests were made:

“The behaviour that was displayed this morning is unacceptable and intolerable,” Inspector Marty Allison said …

Inspector Allison said the cultural backgrounds of those involved in the violence was irrelevant, after suggestions from residents that youths with African backgrounds were being protected by police.

“This is not about ethnicity, it’s not about people’s background, it’s not about religion, it’s about their behaviour, so any conversation that goes on around ethnicity needs to be squashed.”

Inspector Allison defended the initial police response to the incident, and the fact that no arrests were made.

Instead of being arrested and jailed, the rioters simply wandered away:

Residents said they were staggered many of the youths involved could be seen at a bus stop less than 100 metres from the carnage shortly after being dispersed by police.

Victoria’s acting chief commissioner of police Shane Patton has since defended his force’s gentle approach:

“Victoria Police is not soft, we do use the appropriate force, but we have to balance people’s human rights,” he said.

Mr Patton also said “different sections of the community” would oppose Victoria Police using water cannons to handle similar riots in the future.

That “different section of the community” would be rioters, who presumably oppose any punitive or preventative response.

The house was scrawled with tags linked to the notorious Apex gang and new African youth group called “Menace to Society”, but Mr Patton repeated police claims that Apex no longer exists and dismissed the MTS gang.

“Well they (brawlers) are a menace to society in the way they’ve conducted themselves … but we have no intelligence that such a gang exist,” he said.

Apart from the ruined house, all of those smashed windows and the accounts of witnesses. No evidence at all.

A Muslim man accused of shooting two teenagers wants to remove a magistrate from his case because of perceived bias about Sharia law.

Zakaria Zaatiti, 23, appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday to apply for bail over allegations he shot two males aged 16 and 18 at Roxburgh Park in August.

But before the bail hearing began, his lawyer Shaun Ginsbourg applied for magistrate Ross Maxted to disqualify himself from the case.

Violence erupts at Greek refugee camp in Lesbos

Violence reportedly broke out late Tuesday at the Moria refugee camp on the Greek island of Lesbos.

According to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (AMNA), serious clashes erupted between Arab, Afghan and Iraqi refugees.

An unknown number of injured have been transferred to a hospital, while numerous reports said ambulances and fire trucks were rushing to the scene.

Riot police in charge of security issues at the camp have reportedly used teargas to quell the clashes, with major media outlets in Greece calling it a “warzone situation”.

A TEENAGER who was stabbed twice and bashed by a group of gatecrashers at a friend’s party believes he and his mates were attacked for being Australian.

TWO teenage boys who were stabbed several times at an out-of-control Christmas house party believe they were targeted for being Australian.

Joel Sarlo, 18, was stabbed twice in the back in Koo Wee Rup, Victoria on Saturday and his mate Matt Dromell was stabbed once and was almost kidnapped.

Describing the terrifying moment the attackers turned up, Sarlo told Channel 7 that a gang of 15 strangers appeared, armed with knives.

He said he and his mates were celebrating with around 100 other people at a mate’s farm at the time.

“They grabbed my throat, put a knife to my neck and started walking me out and trying to get me into their car,” Mr Dromell told Channel 7.

“They tried to stab me twice in the stomach but missed and stabbed me here (his back).

“I dropped to the ground and crawled to the stable and hid there until they left.
