(IsraelNN.com) Members of the Egyptian Coptic diaspora urged American President Barack Obama to remember the Middle East’s oppressed non-Muslim minorities during his upcoming trip to Cairo. Several members of the U.S. Congress echoed the Copts’ concerns.Â
President Obama is slated to deliver what has been billed as a groundbreaking speech of reconciliation between the West and the Muslim world at Cairo University on June 4, 2009. Christian Copts of California (CCC), an organization representing expatriate Egyptians of the ancient Coptic minority, has written an urgent letter to the American leader reminding him that “reconciliation cannot be separated from reciprocation. The Islamic World must not demand from us that which they are unwilling to retune to us and to extend to their own citizens of other religious. I hope you help them understand reconciliation is a two-way street.”

Pakistan, a failed state because of Islam
 The Islamic Republic of Pakistan is founded on Islam and nothing but Islam. Pakistan is, and always was, an economic basket case and highly dependent on tribute in the form of ‘aid’ from Western nations, all of it wasted in a swamp of corruption.  No matter how many billions the Obama administration throws at this nuclear third world nation, nothing will  prevent it from falling deeper and deeper into the abyss.Â

 From Wiki:  Pakistan was a part of British India during the British Raj from 1858 to 1947 until the Indian independence movement led by Mahatma Gandhi. When the Pakistan Movement for a state for Muslims, led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the Muslim League resulted in the independence and creation of the state of Pakistan, that comprised the provinces of Sindh,North-West Frontier Province, West Punjab, Balochistan and East Bengal. With the adoption of its constitution in 1956, Pakistan became an Islamic republic. In 1971, a civil war in East Pakistan resulted in intervention from India and the subsequent independence of Bangladesh. Pakistan’s history has been characterized by  military rule and political instability.
Pakistan, like Somalia, Sudan, Afghanistan, Mauritania, Yemen etc, are “failed states” — which all happen to be Muslim states — have to be propped up, and propped up, and propped up, it seems, by money from non-Muslims, to prevent what? To prevent them from harming themselves? To prevent them from waging war (jihad) against us, which is their religious obligation?

U.S.-based International Christian Concern (ICC) said the believers, whose names were not identified, were imprisoned for the past seven weeks in Tripoli, Libya’s capital.
“Libya’s External Security Organization is believed to be behind the detention and torture of the Christians” ICC said, citing local sources.

A Muslim man set fire to a Coptic young man, murdered his father and wounded his younger brother, after it was rumored that the young Copt allegedly had a relationship with the Muslim man’s sister!!The events took place in the small village of “Dmas” Meet-Ghamr, after a rumor spread around of a relationship between the 25-year-old Copt Shihata Sabri, and the sister of a Muslim man named Yasser Ahmed Qasim.
Yasser went to Coptic Shehata, holding a gasoline canister, poured it over him and set him on fire, as bystanders looked on in horror. The young Copt threw himself into the adjacent canal to try to put out the flames from his burning body. The fire left burns all over his body, leading to his death. More here...

Christian and Muslim leaders "condemn violence" in Mosul

And, while condemning violence, they “find no justification in Islam or Christianity for those promoting the insecurity or perpetuating the violence evident in parts of Iraq.” A half-truth if ever there was one. Yes, there is very little “justification” for violence in Christianity. Remember that whole thing about “turning the other cheek”? But why is Christianity brought into this in the first place? The issue is Muslims persecuting Christians in Mosul — not Christians persecuting Muslims nor Christians persecuting Christians, for that matter. As for Muslim persecution of Christians (or “infidels” in general), Islam does indeed offer “justification” — indeed commandments — to subjugate them and dominate the world.

An Indonesian Islamic cleric linked to the three extremists awaiting execution for the Bali bombings, says the 2002 attack which killed more than 200 people, was the work of America’s Central Intelligence Agency.
Abu Bakar Bashir says the CIA fired a nuclear missile at the Bali tourist strip from a ship off the coast.
Speaking at his house at the Al-Mukmin Islamic boarding school on Indonesia’s Java island, he said the attack was a conspiracy between “America, Australia and the Jews”.
He said the three convicted bombers – Amrozi, Imam Samudra and Ali Ghufron – had been framed.
His comments come amid speculation the government is preparing to execute the three bombers by firing squad next week, in line with their 2003 convictions.
