Kuwait : A man in charge of a maid recruiting agency has accused a Kuwaiti citizen of raping two Eritrean maids recruited by him, reports Al-Shahid.
In a case registered at the Jahra police station, the man said the citizen had come to his office and taken the girls on a trial basis. The citizen had promised to transfer their residence if their work was good. The man said he was surprised when the citizen returned the maids the next day claiming they were not fit for the job, taking advantage of the maids’ inability to understand Arabic. After he left the two maids revealed they were raped by the Kuwaiti and his friend.
Investigations are underway to find and arrest the citizen and his friend.

    The above assertion was Zaynab’s claim to fame, which no other woman had been able to match. Indeed, no other woman was privileged to have her marriage and family life planned for her by Allah, and carefully documented in the preserved tablet and the Quran. Zaynab’s ‘divine’ marriage was not a private matter because its implications still affect the Muslims’ lives today. As a corollary to satisfying Mohammed’s sexual desires, Allah had to ban the highly moral practice of adoption and introduce instead a morally corrupt legislation that allows women to breast feed adult men. Another upshot of this saga is that the Muslims today are still perplexed and divided regarding the wisdom of the ‘barrier (=hijab) verse’ that in effect locks women behind the dark shields of Islam. The historical events mentioned in this article are well documented in the Quran and the reputed sira books and no Muslim can question their authenticity. The analysis, however, is mine and is an attempt to read the small prints to understand that famous Islamic love, or rather lust, story.

    “… the girls were more afraid of their ‘wedding’ night than of the execution. And they would always fight back, so we would have to put sleeping pills in their food. By morning the girls would have an empty expression; it seemed like they were ready or wanted to die. I remember hearing them cry and scream after [the rape] was over,” he said. “I will never forget how this one girl clawed at her own face and neck with her finger nails afterwards. She had deep scratches all over her.”

    TEHRAN, Iran (AP) – An Iranian opposition leader said Sunday that detained protesters are alleging male and female prisoners were savagely raped by their jailers to the point of physical and mental damage.Mahdi Karroubi, one of two defeated pro-reform candidates in the disputed June 12 presidential election, said he has received the reports of rapes from former military commanders and other senior officials and he called for an investigation.”A number of detainees have stated that some female detainees were so severely raped that their genitals were damaged. Others savagely raped young boys so that they suffer from depression and serious physical and mental damage,” Karroubi said in a letter posted on his Web site.

    He said such crimes, if proven true, would “disgrace” Iran’s Islamic ruling system. He did not name any officials who made the rape claims.

    Jailed Iranian Women Converts to Christianity Face Death,  Refuse Court Pressure To “Deny Christ”

    maryam-and-mazrieh-2-150x1501TEHRAN, IRAN (BosNewsLife)– Two young Iranian women who may face the death penalty for converting  from Islam to Christianity have told a court that they will not abandon their faith in Christ, despite harsh treatment in one of Iran’s most notorious prisons, Christian trial observers confirmed to BosNewsLife Monday, August 10.

    Maryam Rustampoor, 27, and Marzieh Amirizadeh, 30, appeared Sunday, August 9, in front of a ‘revolutionary court’ in the capital Tehran where they were pressured to return to Islam, according to well-informed Christians linked to Elam Ministries, a group supporting Iran’s growing church movement.

    “Though great pressure was put on them, both women declared that they would not deny their faith,” the Christians said.

    Both women, who reportedly suffer health problems, were detained March 5 for converting to Christianity. They endured solitary confinement, interrogations “for many hours while blindfolded” and other mistreatment in Tehran’s Evin prison, well-informed Christians said.

    Senior police and judiciary officials acknowledged over the weekend that opposition detainees have been abused in prison and called for those responsible to be punished, apparently in an effort to calm public outrage over the mistreatment and death of prisoners. More from BosNewsLife

    Do bigamy and Islam go together? The Law Commission of India doesn’t think so. Indian clerics of all hues disagree. But they don’t seem to have the backing of ordinary Muslims.
    (Of course they do. Because its in the Koran.     The issue of a Muslim man having more than one wife has always divided the country’s second largest religious minority. The row has escalated since the Law Commission asserted Thursday that bigamy conflicts with the ‘true Islamic law in letter and spirit’.
    ‘Bigamy is not against the spirit of Islam,’ asserted Maulana Abdul Khaleeq Sambhali, pro-vice chancellor of Darul Uloom in Deoband town, some 150 km from here, and one of the biggest seminaries in India.

    ‘Islam permits a man to have more than one wife provided he does justice to both his wives on economic and other issues,’ the Maulana told IANS on telephone from Deoband.

    TWO men from Salford have appeared in court in connection with the rape and sexual assault of two teenagers.

    At Manchester Magistrates Court it was alleged that a 15 year old girl was taken to a flat in Hulme by two men, where she was raped and her friend, also 15, was sexually attacked.

    Mohamed Nasr, 23, of Liverpool Road, Eccles, was charged with rape and sexual assault. Mubaraj Abdulwali, 19, of Mellor Street, Eccles, was charged with sexual assault.

    Both men were refused bail and committed to Crown Court for plea and case management on September 3.

    The chief of police blames the victim and doesn’t show much interest to pursue the case.  The parents of the killer, one of the richest families of Turkey, deny any knowledge, but  papa Garipoglu has now been arrested . His son, Cem Garipoglu, the alleged killer, is on the run and wanted by interpol.

     Cem Garipoglu  comes from one of the richest families in Turkey and spent most of his life in expensive Swiss boarding schools. Cem is accused of having raped and murdered 18-year-old Münevver .  The head of the murdered young women was found in his guitar case, the fragmented body in a garbage container. He apparently cut up her remains  with a hacksaw. The body showed traces of torture.

    A 17 year old girl has most likely been killed by the son of one of Turkey’s richest families. The authorities are remarkably reticent in their news releases.

    SUSPECT COMES FROM GOOD FAMILY

    Munever and Cem were 17 when they got to know each other at Starbucks in the upscale Istanbul suburb of Bebek. Munever was pretty and popular in her class, she was preparing for her entrance exams to study international relations. He was the son of rich parents and widely traveled, perhaps it is better to say widely passed around. Since the age of 12 he lived in boarding schools all over the world. Perhaps he was not a good student, but he spoke Spanish, French, Italian, Greek and Chinese. For her it seemed to be the love of her life.

    On the 3rd of March this year Cem Garipoglu wanted to organize a birthday party for his girlfriend. Shortly before noon he brought her to his home. On the evening before they had both chatted over the internet. He had promised her a ” big surprise” . As surveillance cameras later show, he left the house again at 2p.m. Police assume it was to buy a saw.

    BODY IN GARBAGE BIN

    Munever Karabalut would not live to see her 18th birthday. Her chopped up body was found in a garbage bin. Her head was found in a guitar case. Cem’s guitar case. Before her murder she had been abused. Though she had been a virgin until death, traces of sperm were found in her underwear.

    When the police arrived at Cem’s parents home a few hours later, the house, from attic to basement, had been freshly scrubbed. Despite that the police found traces of Munever’s blood. They found Cem’s blood soaked garments and under his bed a bloody saw with traces of hair. No trace of Cem. The parents claimed they knew nothing and although police discovered traces of blood on their clothes, the court dismissed the case.

    Cem Garipoglu has disappeared without a trace. The Garipoglu family is one of the richest in Turkey. Cem’s father Mehmet Nida Goripoglu is the owner of “Burgas Raki” distilleries which is why the case is making such waves. Shortly after the murder young Turks joined facebook to commemorate Munever. The site has 88,000 supporters.

    PROTESTS WERE SUCCESSFUL

    Apart from the action on Facebook, there were demonstrations against the judiciary for their lack of action. It is believed the deliberate murderer Cem Garipoglu has (with the help of his family)  fled the country. This has reinforced the belief in the country that if you are rich, you can get away with anything.

    The protests are having some effect. Cem’s father, whom the judges had at first set free is now under arrest. There is also the matter of the chief of police in Istanbul, Celletin Cerrah. When questioned about the lack of results after two months of investigation, he retorted: “Why did you not look after your daughter better?”. Would you allow your daughter to stay till late at night at a friends house? He did not do himself any favours with this “her fault”. Immediately the case of Munever was not only a cause for critics of the Turkish class system, now the authorities had the various womens groups at their throat. The parliament’s human rights commission has given the chief of police his walking papers. Since last week he has a new job, chief of police in a distant rural district.

    I have chronicled many of the growing numbers of rapes perpetrated by muslim taxi drivers – but these rapes have all been of women –  this latest victim of taxi driver rape is a man.

    “A man was raped by a taxi driver who followed him into his block of flats after driving him home. The 20-year-old victim got into the cab at Quay Street in Manchester city centre in the early hours of Sunday after a night out. When the taxi arrived at Salford Quays, the driver refused to take payment. The man went into his flat block, but was grabbed by the driver as he waited for the lift. He was raped in the stairwell of the building, police said.

    ….The rapist was described as being in his late 20s or early 30s, dark skinned, possibly Asian, and of middle eastern or Iraqi appearance.”

    The horrible crime has left the violated young man “traumatised”.

     An update on  Dutch journo Joanie de Rijke, who went to buy bananas from the Taliban, but instead got captured and raped: but not to worry, she says, it was all good: they ”They also respected me,” and emphasized “They are not monsters.”

    De Rijke – along with most of the Dutch political elite – is furious with Geert Wilders, (for telling the truth about the moral decline of our elites in parliament)  but not terribly convincing in denying his accusations of Stockholm syndrome:

    De Rijcke (sic), 43, was kidnapped in November in the town of Sarubi, some 50 kilometres from Kabul. She was kept prisoner for six days and raped repeatedly by a Taliban leader, Ghazi Gul. But she wrote in a book; “I do not want to portray the Taliban as monsters, nor am I angry with Ghazi Gul. After all, he allowed me to live.”

    De Rijcke now sounds a different note. ”I am indeed very angry with the perpetrators. I am furious with my abductors and rapists. All the things Wilders is saying are completely wrong,” said De Rijcke in Algemeen Dagblad Friday. “It is very, very painful. I am trying to recover from my trauma.”

    Hmm. Her book cover picture alone does not seem to reflect a woman traumatised by an ordeal she’d rather forget:

     Her interviews to promote it seemed remarkably relaxed, too, and utterly devoid of any anger or obvious sign of mental trauma. She instead talked freely of how “very religious” her captors were, how much “easier” the atmosphere in the camp was when she agreed to pray to Allah, how her captors had “told jokes” to relax her, how they’d done “nothing” physical to her, how they were engaged in a “religious” struggle”  (link to video, interview in Dutch, helaas)

    *  Andrew Bolt asks the question: Is it possible to suffer fom Stockholm Syndrome when you already admire your captors before they even catch you?

    It’s regularly contended that leftism is a mental health problem and, given de Rijke’s response to being savagely raped, it’s hard to dispute the contention. Denying reality is not healthy.

    On the other hand, some have suggested that de Rijke suffered from Stockholm Syndrome and identified with her captors, instead of being blinded by an ultra-left ideological mindset. I’ll entertain the notion, however, experts contend that Stockholm Syndrome doesn’t usually apply to hostages who have been abused.

    Like her fellow journalists Yvonne Ridley and Beverly Giesbrecht, Dutch leftist Joanie de Rijke was kidnapped by Islamic extremists.

    Ridley converted to Islam (and sometimes writes to us on this blog telling us what a great ‘journalist she is…)

    Giesbrecht (claims she) faces beheading. But it looks more and more like she is helping the Taliban  to make a fast buck…

    And as for de Rijke: 

    She was held captive, raped repeatedly, and released after six days for a ransom of 100,000 euros. 

    But, hey, no hard feelings: 

    After her ordeal, she acknowledged that her captors “did horrible things to me,” but added in several media interviews “They also respected me,” and emphasized “They are not monsters.” 

    Read on. As you do, imagine de Rijke’s comments – and global reaction – if the events she describes had happened inside, say, Abu Ghraib.
