Christianity, born in the Middle East, is in danger of losing its two millenia-long presence there. If that notion sounds alarmist to Western ears, it is acknowledged by Middle Easterners as a growing likelihood.
 
This precipitous decline is chronicled and explained in a detailed historical video entitled Muslim Persecution of Christians, produced by the Terrorism Awareness Project. The video, which is embedded below, recounts contemporary examples of anti-Christian violence, and the Islamic theology that justifies and intensifies it.

“I fear the extinction of Christianity in Iraq and the Middle East,” said the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Baghdad, Jean Benjamin Sleiman, as Pope Benedict XVI visited that troubled region this week. The Lebanese Christian columnist Sarkis Naoum added: “Unless there is a turn toward secularism in the Arab world, I don’t think there is a future for Christians here.” In 1909, the Middle East was 20 percent Christian; one hundred years later, that percentage has fallen to five percent.

UK: Muslim Labour MP Who Campaigns against BNP Nailed for Swindling Taxpayers

Muslim Labour MP Shahid Malik, who spends most of his time campaigning against the British National Party or predicting a totally Islamified Britain, has been revealed as the biggest swindler of them all, ripping off taxpayers more than any other single member of parliament.

The announcement was made this morning after Mr Malik had refused to apologise, saying he had worked “by the book” and insisted he would not return any of the money to the taxpayer.

Mr Malik, who incredibly is also “Justice Minister” (we wonder what type of “justice”-  hint: sharia of course), has been exposed as claiming thousands of pounds in taxpayer allowances on his second home while renting his main home at a heavily discounted rate.

Mr Malik claimed £66,827 over three years on his house in London (£18,173 less than its original purchase price) while renting his main home in Dewsbury at a discounted rent of less than £100 a week.

A United States District Court judge in Rhode Island has rejected a motion to vacate a default judgment against the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), allowing a $116 million judgment in favor of the family of two victims of ‘Palestinian’ terror to stand. The case involves the family of Yaron and Ephrat Unger HY”D (may God avenge their blood), who were murdered by ‘Palestinian’ terrorists in 1996. The Ungers left over two children, one of whom was in their car with them when they were murdered, who are being raised by Mrs. Unger’s parents. In the process, the judge, Ronald Lagueux of the District of Rhode Island, ripped the PLO and its leadership.

(AINA) – As a result of a rumor that a young Christian Copt hurled a stone towards a mosque, thousands of Muslims congregated and attacked Copts and their properties, leaving several injured and arrested.

She fabricated an anti-Muslim “hate crime.” Despite an abundance of evidence that the faking of such hate crimes for political purposes is a thriving industry, she is now claiming to be mentally ill.

A Muslim student who allegedly made a false claim last year that she was attacked on the campus of Elmhurst College by a masked man making anti-Islamic slurs applied today to have her disorderly conduct case transferred to DuPage County mental health court.Safia Jilani, 19, of Oak Brook, reported on Oct. 9 that she was beaten by a man with a gun in the college’s science center. Elmhurst police said no such attack took place, and charges were filed against her.

“This young adult has had medical issues in the past that could have led to this episode,” said defense attorney Terry Ekl, who said he has turned over a medical report to prosecutors. He declined to specify the medical condition….

But moderate Muslims claim the 29-year-old’s doctrine of hatred has led to them being shunned and want him driven out of town.

Since the Islamic Education Centre was burned down they have been left with nowhere to pray. (Imagine that! Poor widdle Muslims! Quick, give ’em another million or another building, or how about giving them a church?/ed)

Following are excerpts from an interview with PLO Ambassador to Lebanon Abbas Zaki, which aired on ANB TV on May 7, 2009:

Abbas Zaki: What is needed is a settlement, not a hudna [truce]. After 45 years of struggle, we have the right to reach a conclusion to this conflict, rather than extending the hudna>/i>, enabling Israel to expand on a daily basis. My advice is: we should not give Israel a hudna, because whenever Israel is given a hudna, it consolidates its position and becomes more deeply rooted. What hudna? If they do not withdraw from the 1967 lands – what hudna? Israel will become a fact on the ground, and we will end up as small enclaves, and should be driven out with time. Therefore, it is high time that we found a final, comprehensive solution. The Arabs talk about a comprehensive solution and present initiatives, and the world talks about a solution, yet we say: Let’s stick to the hudna. No, my friend. I personally joined Fatah somewhat belatedly, in 1962. Work out how many years that is. Should I keep on extending the hudnas? Impossible. We want a solution now.

“They talk about a two-state solution, and when that is achieved… Even Ahmadinejad, leader of the rejectionists throughout the region, said he supports a two-state solution. Nobody fools anybody.

“With the two-state solution, in my opinion, Israel will collapse, because if they get out of Jerusalem, what will become of all the talk about the Promised Land and the Chosen People? What will become of all the sacrifices they made – just to be told to leave? They consider Jerusalem to have a spiritual status. The Jews consider Judea and Samaria to be their historic dream. If the Jews leave those places, the Zionist idea will begin to collapse. It will regress of its own accord. Then we will move forward.”

Hussein Obama has found  a way to pass the buck to the courts. The Muslim POTUS was criticized for last month’s release of memos authorizing harsh interrogation techniques. If the photos are now made public over White House objections, the inevitable outrage might be deflected toward the courts and away from the president. More>>

Krauthammer on whether Israel will attack Iran to prevent it from getting nuclear weapons

Here’s Charles Krauthammer’s take on whether Israel will attack Iran to prevent it from getting nuclear weapons.

I think everybody understands that any Israeli government, even the previous, the more dovish, if you like, Ehud Olmert, the government in Israel, would have attacked if nothing is done by the end of this year.

It’s not about the new prime minister. It’s about Israel itself. No government will tolerate a nuke in the hands of Iran.

The only question is, does Israel have the capacity to actually destroy this nuclear capacity on the part of Iran enough to set it back about half a decade? If it doesn’t, then it would be a futile and dangerous act.

I’m going to go out on a limb and disagree with Krauthammer. Here’s why.

Copenhagen. Observant Muslim women in Denmark will have to remove their face veils when their travel passes are being checked, one of the country’s leading transport operators Arriva said Wednesday AFP informs.Danish bus companies have introduced the rule after two incidents where Arriva drivers refused to allow passengers wearing the face veil, or niqab, to travel on their buses.

“All bus companies have recently come to an agreement on this point as it is normal that passengers holding photo travel passes should identify themselves to the driver or the conductor,” Arriva spokesman Martin Wex said.

Those passengers who refuse to show their faces will be forced to buy another ticket to get on board, he said, adding that the policy would also apply to some Arriva train services in Denmark.
