THE north west’s only Muslim MEP Sajjad Karim will be chairing a meeting this morning about the rise of extremism in Europe.

The legal affairs spokesperson and vice-president of the equality and diversity intergroup will be chairing the meeting in Brussels about how to cope and manage the rise of extremist parties including the BNP across Europe.

*  Well, I guess we’re all “right wingers” now because the left is wrong on every issue…

India: Mumbai confession 'was coerced'

BBC: The leading suspect in the Mumbai (Bombay) attacks trial has retracted his confession.

The lawyer for the sole surviving suspected gunman, Mohammed Ajmal Amir Qasab, said it was extracted through coercion and force.

The prosecution had read out parts of his confession as the trial began and accused him of killing 166 people.

Prosecutor Ujwal Nikam said this was a conspiracy hatched in Pakistan to wage war on India.

Friday’s opening of the trial followed a number of procedural delays.

The latest was on Wednesday when Mr Qasab’s lawyer was sacked for allegedly also signing up to defend a victim.

‘Minor’

Mr Qasab, who police say is 21, is charged with murder and waging war on India. He faces the death penalty if convicted.

More than 170 people, including nine gunmen, were killed in the attacks last November.

New Afghan law does not allow marital rape… but lets men refuse to feed wives who deny them sex, says cleric

Well, that should keep everybody happy, no? Sounds like  the result of some ‘outreach-program’- because after all it was the women who said  “We do not want total freedom. We wanted it to be limited and to be within Islam.”

Afghan cleric Ayatollah Mohammed Asef Mohseni claimed the law he devised did not condone marital rape (Note the ‘zebibah’ on his forehead, the mark of a serious headbanger…/ed)

A new Afghan law that has drawn Western condemnation for restricting women’s rights does not allow marital rape as its critics claim, but lets men refuse to feed wives who deny them sex, the cleric behind it says.

Ayatollah Mohammed Asef Mohseni’s Shi’ite personal status law sparked controversy abroad because of a provision that ‘a wife is obliged to fulfil the sexual desires of her husband’.

This was read by some as an open door to marital rape, and together with clauses restricting women’s freedom of movement denounced as reminiscent of harsh Taliban-era rules.

The law has been criticised by Western leaders with troops fighting in Afghanistan, including U.S. President Barack Obama, who called it ‘abhorrent’. Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai, who signed the law last month, has since put it under review.

Yemen: "The West wants to teach us how to marry, conceive and divorce. This is cultural colonization that we reject"

Hmm, not really.  “The West” is pretty timid not to mention anything about Aisha who was 6 when she “married” Muhammad, a warlord in his fifties. If you call Muhammad a child-molester you might even end up in court and get a fine, along with being labeled ‘racist, bigot, Islamophobe.” You won’t find Aisha’s story in this article by DONNA ABU-NASR/Associated Press mentioned either. Why do you think that is?  Is the truth no defense?

 Of course, the whole concept of pedophilia did not exist in Muhammad’s day, but when he is taken as the supreme example of human conduct and imitated today, what results is…pedophilia. Muhammad’s consummation of his marriage with Aisha when she was nine is in the hadith collection Muslims consider most reliable, Bukhari, several times:5.48.234; 5.58.236; 7.62.64; 7.62.65; and 7.62.88.

What’s more, it is clear that Muslims take this seriously and imitate Muhammad in this. Article 1041 of the Civil Code of the Islamic Republic of Iran states that girls can be engaged before the age of nine, and married at nine: “Marriage before puberty (nine full lunar years for girls) is prohibited. Marriage contracted before reaching puberty with the permission of the guardian is valid provided that the interests of the ward are duly observed.”

Why Hate Crime Laws Work Against Us

Salman Rushdie still lives in hiding, Ayaan Ali Hirsi had to flee the Netherlands and lives in an undisclosed location in the US,  and the Danish cartoons still strike terror in the hearts of the infidels.

All around the world politicians live in fear and dare not say a word against the assassins of Islam, who are ready to burn down embassies, murder Westerners at random in a “fanatical frenzy which is more dangerous than hydrophobia in a dog” (Winston Churchill) if their prophet is insulted, and we all know it doesn’t take much to offend the prophet of Islam.

But things seem to be changing, slowly, slowly:

Ezra Levant & Mark Steyn have led the way: the ridiculous “Human Rites” commissions are on the way out, at least in Canada.  In Australia, we had the case of the two pastors in Victoria who needed to raise nearly a million dollars to defend themselves against a frivolous ‘hate-speech’ lawsuit for reading from the Koran (sic) and KRudd’s minister of the inquisition, comrade Conroy, is determined to censor the internet. Things don’t look good.

Like counterfeit money devaluing real money,  counterfeit human rights, like the “yuman rite” not to be offended, devalue the term that once was reserved for real rights like freedom of religion, the equality of men and women before the law, and the right to be free from violence.

Halal Pork Riots in Indonesia

Whole lotta porking going on: no, the riots haven’t started yet, but it won’t be long before the Muslims accuse the  Chinese merchants, burn their shops and rape their women, simply because they’re not Muslims:

Authorities have discovered that five companies selling the popular dried meat product have been substituting beef with pork, which Muslims are strictly forbidden from eating.

Indonesia’s National Food and Drug Monitoring Agency, or BPOM, made the discovery after conducting DNA tests on jerky samples from traditional markets in Java and Sumatra.

Some of the pork products were labelled halal – meaning suitable for Muslims – but clearly were not.

“I can imagine how furious the public, particularly Muslims, would be once they find out that they have been deceived all this time,” BPOM head Husniah Rubiana Thamrin said.

The agency believes producers used pork to increase their profits, because it is cheaper than beef.

About 90 per cent of Indonesia’s 240 million people are Muslim.
