Andrew Bolt: de Kretser’s naked politicking and radical green preaching has caused concern for at least a year. The Governor is meant to be a bipartisan and politically neutral figure. If de Kretser claims global warming is the “greatest problem confronting mankind” and now causes a “state of emergency”  that requires the removal of democracy, then what place has de Kretser in  this system of government of ours that he has actually sworn (and been paid) to uphold?

“Banning burka would waste police time“

Remember: this is the guy who also believes “The English as a race are not worth saving!” –

Banning women from wearing the burka on the streets of Britain would be a waste of police time, Justice Secretary Jack Straw said today.

He told MPs he did not think police should be instructed to remove the garments from women who wore them for “religious or cultural reasons”. Mr Straw, who has in the past raised concerns about Muslim women wearing the veil, said he would “strongly recommend against a change in the law”.

At Commons question time he said: “All of us may have views about the wearing of the burka, but I do not believe that this is a matter which should be the subject of the criminal law in which we were expecting the police to remove these items of apparel from women who choose for religious or cultural reasons to wear them. That should have no part of the system of law in the United Kingdom.”

An Arab ambassador has called off his wedding after discovering his wife-to-be who wears a face-covering veil is bearded and cross-eyed.

After the marriage contract was signed, the ambassador attempted to kiss his bride-to-be. It was only then that he discovered her facial hair and eyes.

The ambassador told an Islamic Sharia court in the United Arab Emirates he was tricked into the marriage as the woman’s mother had shown his own mother pictures of her sister instead of his bride-to-be.

He sued for the contract to be annulled and also demanded the woman pay him 500,000 dirhams (£85,000) for clothes, jewelry and other gifts he had bought for her.

The court annulled the contract but rejected the ambassador’s demand for compensation.

The report did not identify the ambassador.

Criticism of Christianity is fair game. After all, when was the last hate law prosecution of a critic of Christianity? By contrast, Islam has special protective laws. The same happened in Canada when commentators Mark Steyn and Ezra Levant were hauled before anti-discrimination tribunals for expressing critical opinions about Islam. John Stuart Mill’s defence of free speech has been buried. Muslim-style censorship now applies in the heart of Western liberal democracies.

The left-liberal press is not that interested in free speech either. Perhaps free speech does not matter to it. Or perhaps these kinds of prosecutions are now so commonplace, they don’t warrant a headline. Either way, this spells the decay of Western liberal democracies. Read it all>>

Note the slants?  The minister who is “anti=burka!”  (how can anyone be anti-burqa this day and age! French professor Raphaël Liogier just told us that the freedom sack is a sophisticated product, Muslim chic, in fact no different from westernised Buddhists, sic!),  Eric Besson is depicted as  some kind of moron, a “hardliner”.  The Mohammedans who push the burka, FGM, child marriage,  polygamy etc. must be soft dicks then? Peter Allen, the tool who wrote this puff piece, is certainly not without envy, when he then adds  “minister denies planning to convert to marry young Muslim girlfriend”…

France’s hardline immigration minister Eric Besson is threatening to sue over hotly denied claims he is about to convert to Islam to marry his young Muslim girlfriend.

The rumours, reported on French news website Bakchich Info, come as the 51-year-old spearheads a campaign against  alien religions and cultures swamping his country.

He has already called for the Muslim burkha to be banned, and wants potential immigrants to take French tests and swear allegiance to the Republic.

Legal challenge: French Immigration Minister Eric Besson is threatening to sue over claims he is about to convert to Islam to marry Yasmine Tordjman. The couple are shown above the France vs Ireland World Cup qualifyer last year

This particularly applies to those arriving from Muslim countries who do not  share the same values as France’s predominantly Roman Catholic population.

Divorced Mr Besson has admitted that he currently lives with a Paris art school student who is the great-granddaughter of Wassila Bourguiba, the wife of the former Tunisian president, Habib Bourguiba.

The father-of-three’s younger lover was named as Yasmine Tordjman, who is in her 20s.

Before Christmas he travelled to the north African country to meet Ms Tordjman’s mother, prompting speculation that he would re-marry in June.

Islam does not allow mixed marriages, meaning the minister would have to convert from Catholicism to Islam.

Actually, its not an “accusation”, its much more than that. The social engineers of Labour have been caught red handed. And there’s a long paper trail to prove it:

The release of a previously unseen document suggested that Labour’s migration policy over the past decade had been aimed not just at meeting the country’s economic needs, but also the Government’s “social objectives”.

The paper said migration would “enhance economic growth” and made clear that trying to halt or reverse it could be “economically damaging”. But it also stated that immigration had general “benefits” and that a new policy framework was needed to “maximise” the contribution of migration to the Government’s wider social aims.

The Government has always denied that social engineering played a part in its migration policy.

In his first interview with the European TV channel Euronews on Saturday, ErdoÄŸan spoke about a range of topics, from Turkey’s negotiations aimed at eventual full membership in the European Union to Cyprus, relations with Israel, and questions on Kurds and Armenia.

The Turkish prime minister said some of the EU member states were not acting honestly during Turkey’s ongoing negotiation with the bloc. “This is where a problem arises. Why am I saying this? Because they are trying to corner Turkey with conditions that do not exist in the acquis communautaire [the total accumulated body of EU law]. This is really wrong,” he said.

In reading the NY Times propaganda piece, you have to go way deep into the article for the money line…… “All 10 complaints also stated that West African workers, who are Muslim, were refused short prayer breaks.”

Mind you, it is not necessary for a Muslim to prayer at a certain time. These actions are merely devices in which to impose Islam on non-believers. Prayer is not required on a strict schedule and Muslim prayers are commonly “made up” after work or school. This is true even in Muslim countries, i.e., Iran.

Muslims have pulled this act of war and the imposition of Islamic supremacism and sharia against Wal-mart before, and have won.

The pathologically ill NY Times spin is pro-illegal, anti American, anti-business, blah blah blah. But the real story is hidden.

Louay Safi at Ft. Hood: a testament to willful cluelessness about jihad and national security

Here is a useful summary of Louay Safi’s checkered past and dubious associations, despite which he was employed as a military subcontractor to lecture on Islam. This report does not mention that, even after the Ft. Hood shootings, Safi was involved in troops’ training, and was allowed to meet with victims’ families. Those occurrences, of course, were part of the broader knee-jerk reaction in the aftermath of the attack to defend even more vigorously the establishment’s dogma that Islam has nothing to do the steady stream of attacks and attempted attacks in Islam’s name.

A clear pattern is observable in the military and broader governmental approach to anything related to Islam, and it involves an obsession with image over substance (lest appearances offend), a related fixation with “outreach” and “engagement” for their own sake, and an alarmingly unquestioning dependence on middlemen to feed them soothing interpretations of Islam. Never mind the agendas and affiliations of said middlemen, such as Safi, as long as those in charge hear what they want to hear.
