The recent global day against the imminent stoning of Sakine Mohammadi-Ashtiani in Iran for adultery is an example of the outrage sparked by the brutality associated with sharia law’s penal code.

What of its civil code though – which the Muslim Council of Britain’s Shaykh Ibrahim Mogra describes as “small aspects” that concern “marriage, divorce, inheritance, custody of children”? According to human rights campaigner Gita Sahgal, “there is active support for sharia laws precisely because it is limited to denying women rights in the family. No hands are being cut off, so there can’t be a problem …”

Now a report, Sharia Law in Britain: A Threat to One Law for All and Equal Rights, reveals the adverse effect of sharia courts on family law. Under sharia’s civil code, a woman’s testimony is worth half of a man’s. A man can divorce his wife by repudiation, whereas a woman must give justifications, some of which are difficult to prove. Child custody reverts to the father at a preset age; women who remarry lose custody of their children even before then; and sons inherit twice the share of daughters.

Pamela Anderson – Slammed For Handing Playboy Pay To Charity

PAMELA ANDERSON has been blasted by an Islamic rights group for donating her $25,000 (£16,670) Playboy modeling fee to charity – because the money was obtained through “immoral acts”.

The former Baywatch star posed nude for the January, 2011 issue of the men’s magazine and handed the cheque she received for the spread to Waves 4 Water, a charity that distributes filters to people who don’t have access to clean drinking water, in countries including Indonesia and Haiti.

But officials from the Islamic Defenders Front are fuming about the donation, claiming it is “against the law of God” to hand the modeling money to charity.   (“Allah” is not our G-d.)

Pamela Anderson will cause more disasters:

German Family Minister Kristina Schroeder on Tuesday criticized Muslim youths for displaying hostility towards Germans.

“Such abuse is unfortunately commonplace amongst youths in certain areas – in the school yard, but also in the underground,” Schroeder told daily tabloid Bild. “We are dealing with fundamentally hostile attitudes towards other groups – particularly against Germans and Christians,” the minister continued, adding, “We need to act as decisively against this as against xenophobia.”

Her comments come amid a fierce debate currently taking place in Germany about the integration of the country’s 4 million Muslims, the majority of whom are of Turkish origin.

Eight “Germans” who were killed in a US Predator airstrike on Oct. 4 near the Taliban and al Qaeda stronghold of Mir Ali in North Waziristan have been identified.

Pakistani officials and local tribesmen said the eight Germans “were holding a crucial meeting” at a compound in the town of Mosaki just outside the town of Mir Ali, The Express Tribune reported. The strike occurred near the Masjid Bilal. Early reports indicated that the strike took place at the mosque.

Khadija Abdul Qahar, 55, who was known as Beverly Giesbrecht before she converted to Islam, was abducted along with her translator Salman Khan and cook-cum-driver Zar Muhammad while travelling to Miranshah in the restive North Waziristan tribal region.

Beverly, a  journalist from Canada, abducted by “militants” in November 2008, has died following prolonged illness in the custody of the Taliban somewhere in northwest Pakistan or Afghanistan, sources said on Tuesday.
