(CNN) — President Barack Obama’s sister Maya Soetero-Ng sat down with Piers Morgan this afternoon for an interview that will air tomorrow night.

In her first prime time interview, Maya voices her opinion about the way Donald Trump has handled the Obama birthplace rant. “Well, I think it’s a shame,” she says. “And I think that my brother should definitely be president for a second term.”

“I think that it is time for people to put that to bed, to put it to rest completely.” She says there is a tremendous amount of proof Obama was born in Hawaii.

One of Norway’s largest wooden churches burnt to the ground in the early morning of Monday. The rococo church from 1760 was set afire.

Attempt was also made to set afire the stone church only a few kilometers away from this wooden church.

Local police has required assistance from the national criminal police, Kripos, in investigating the fire.

An explosion has hit a metro station in the center of the Belarusian capital, Minsk,  reportedly causing several fatalities and injuring more than a dozen.

The blast occurred at the Oktyabrskaya metro station in downtown, not far from President Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s offices.

A woman who was entering the metro when she heard the explosion, Valyantsina Aksak, told RFE/RL’s Belarus Service correspondent on the scene that she saw fire after the explosion and the lights went out in the station.

She said she saw “corpses” and people trying to help victims whose clothes were on fire.

At least 12 fire engines and 10 ambulances are on the scene, according to RFE/RL’s Russian Service.

State news agency Belta, quoting its own correspondent at the scene, said several people had been killed.

The Emergencies Ministry confirmed an explosion had occurred but did not give any details about the cause of the blast or the number of casualties.

A man who gave only his first name, Henadz, told RFE/RL that he was unsure whether the explosion had struck a train or the platform.

Another woman, Alena Pankratava, told RFE/RL that she only saw victims with minor injuries

Wearing face masks now a crime in France

PARIS (The Blaze/AP) — Paris police have detained a woman wearing an Islamic veil at a protest on the first day of France’s ban on the face coverings.

The ban makes France the first country in the world to forbid the veils anywhere in public.

But despite the arrests, the Telegraph says police are fearful of enforcing the ban:

Police admitted they were enforcing the ban extremely cautiously because of fears of provoking violence. “The law will be very difficult to apply on certain estates,” said Patrice Ribeiro, of the Synergie police union.

“I can’t see police going to book dozens of veiled women doing their shopping in Venissieux or in Trappes,” Mr Ribeiro said, referring to two Paris suburbs where riots regularly break out because of alleged discrimination against Muslims.”

“It will be the same when a police officer is about to arrest a veiled Saudi who is about to go into Louis Vuitton on the Champs Elysees.” (The Blaze)

The London Telegraph, however, says two women were arrested.

It is unclear whether they were fined. The law says veiled women risk a euro150 ($215) fine or special citizenship classes.

Are there any laws that don’t contradict Islam?  Do you know any Mohammedans who  respect the man-made laws of the kafir?

The implications of a vow only to obey French laws that do not contradict Islam are huge. Ultimately, many French laws, including those establishing equality of rights for women and mandating no penalty for people who leave Islam, contradict Islamic law. A showdown between the two will be hard for the French to avoid.
