The horrific story has emerged as details of the SAS’s involvement in the battle for Baghuz – ISIS’s last stronghold in Syria – were revealed

SAS troops have found the severed heads of 50 sex slaves in ISIS rat tunnels in scenes they described as “like Apocalypse Now”.

The discovery was made as British forces helped in the assault of the final ISIS stronghold in Baghuz.

Also among the heads were jihadis apparently executed by their commanders over allegations of spying.

The Mail on Sunday reported the heads were found in dustbins within a network of tunnels that the terrorist fighters retreated in order to make their last stand in the country.

More than 100 jihadis were killed during the battle while only two British soldiers were wounded, though neither has life-threatening injuries.

A source told The Mail on Sunday: “In their hour of defeat, the jihadis’ cruelty knew no bounds. They conducted a cowardly slaughter of these desperately unfortunate women as a final act of depravity and left their severed heads behind for us to find.

The source said none of the troops would forget what they found, describing it as like a scene from the film Apocalypse Now.

Two fleeing Saudi sisters who were intercepted in Hong Kong are in a “more vulnerable” position that Rahaf Mohammed al-Qunun was in Thailand, a refugee expert says.

The case of two Saudi sisters intercepted in Hong Kong on their way to Australia is similar in principal but “far more complicated” to that of Rahaf Mohammed al-Qunun, according to an Amnesty International refugee expert.

The sisters, who have adopted the aliases Reem and Rawan, said in a statement via their lawyer they had renounced Islam and fear the death penalty if forced to return to Saudi Arabia.

The sisters aged 20 and 18, whose representatives say they suffered violent abuse, fled to Hong Kong in September from a family holiday in Sri Lanka and were planning to fly on to Australia.

(AFP) — “My son will grow up to become a jihadist,” a woman cried proudly as she stepped off a bus ferrying people out of the Islamic State group’s last sliver of territory in eastern Syria.

Defiant and angry, she is one of 2,000 people evacuated Friday from the jihadists’ final scrap of territory in the village of Baghouz near the Iraqi border.

At a screening point run by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces close to the village, women clad in black sat on the barren desert floor waiting to be searched by the Kurdish-led fighters.

When asked where they came from, a group of three veiled women sitting on the rocky terrain said they were “followers” of IS’s so-called “caliphate”.

One of them, who refused to give her name but said she was Syrian and originally from the area, burst with anger when asked about the desperate conditions among the holdout jihadists.

“Who says we were hungry?” she asked, while gently nursing a newborn baby.

“In a house that has dates, the resident don’t go hungry,” she added.

Like many of those with her, she refused to acknowledge the steadily approaching end of IS’s so-called “caliphate”.

As he drove, Noori was shouting “Allah akbar” (Allah is great), according to the off-duty policeman who arrested him. In an interview with the police, he explained his action by saying “Allah made me do it.”

This same exclamation was used by Adel Amastaibou, a French-Moroccan, who stabbed Jewish disc jockey Sebastien Selam to death in Paris in 2003.[1] It was also the justification given by Gulchekhra Bobokulova, an Uzbek nanny, who decapitated a four-year-old girl left in her care in Moscow in 2016.[2]

As Quadrant reported in its December, 2018, edition, foreign student Momena Shoma also invoked Allah’s alleged greatness as she repeatedly plunged a carving knife into the man who had taken her into his family home. As he recalled the incident,

Sebastian Walsh expressed his controversial opinions during class seminars and the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) decided to suspend him after they received several complaints about his behaviour.

The 19-year-old student also branded halal meat ‘barbaric’ and ‘inhumane’ and vowed to friends he would never eat at Subway or KFC due to the way the animals are killed.
