At what point did Hoda Muthana realise she had been brainwashed? The 24-year-old American, who after leaving her home in Alabama four years ago has been a paid-up member of Islamic State, was one of several western women located this week by journalists in refugee camps on the fringes of Syria.

“I interpreted everything wrong,” Muthana said. “I’m a normal human being who has been manipulated.”

Muthana told America’s ABC News that she had been “brainwashed’’ by Islamic State, although it is not clear when she came to this realisation. Was it as she was walking past the putrefying heads impaled on the fence around Raqqa’s Naem traffic circle? Was it when her husband, Australian fighter, Suhan Abdul Rahman, was killed in battle? Perhaps the mass rape of Yazidi women arouses some latent feminist sympathy. Or maybe it was after she fired off this Tweet back in 2015

Go on drive-bys and spill all of their blood, or rent a big truck and drive all over them. Either way, Muthana would like the state she once pledged to destroy to take her back. “I hope America doesn’t think I am a threat to them and I hope they accept me,” she said. “I hope they excuse me because of how young and ignorant I was.”

Sara Thornton, head of Britain’s National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC), has said the law should be changed so forces can actively discriminate against white recruits in order to increase diversity.

Currently, discriminating against people in job recruitment on the basis of certain “protected characteristics”, including race, sex, and sexuality, is technically illegal under the Equality Act of 2010.

However, excluding certain people — generally white people, or at least white males — from supposed internships, even if they pay more than a typical working-class job, or deprioritising them from training schemes or workshops designed to boost employment prospects, is allowable under the act’s so-called “positive action” provisions. Four Melbourne men have been jailed for plotting to sail to the Philippines to encourage Muslim militants to overthrow the government and introduce sharia law.

The men bought a boat in May 2016 and planned to sail from Cape York, in far north Queensland, to the southern Philippines, in order to work with Muslim militants to overthrow the government.

The American ISIS bride who wants to come home to the US has told how she wants the government to pay for her to undergo therapy if it allows her to return – and says she is hopeful they won’t send her to jail.

She’s not American. She doesn’t have American citizenship.

Hoda Muthana, 24, spoke on Wednesday in an interview with ABC News, her first since fleeing the terror group three weeks ago, from a refugee camp in northern Syria.

With her 18-month-old son balanced on her lap, she said she had given up the extremist ‘ideology’ that convinced her to leave her family and that she wanted to be welcomed home by the American people.

‘I’m a normal human being who has been manipulated,’ Hoda, who was 20 when she fled, said.

‘I hope America doesn’t think I am a threat to them and I hope they accept me…I hope they excuse me because of how young and ignorant I was.

‘I can tell them that now I have changed, now I am a mother, I have none of the ideology and hopefully everyone will see it when I get back.’

Asked what she would expect as a reasonable form of punishment for joining the terror group and calling for bloodshed in the US on social media, she answered: ‘Maybe therapy lessons, maybe a process that will ensure us that we’ll never do this again.

EU Border Agency Confirms Salvini’s Populist Migrant Policies Working

The European Union (EU) border agency Frontex has released new statistical data showing that the tough migrant policies of Italian populist Interior Minister Matteo Salvini have drastically reduced illegal migration.
