Conspiracy theories are taking hold of Western civilisation. Angry, middle-aged feminists — beloved by journalists, hated by the rest of us for their hectoring tone and perhaps for the stench of cat urine and disappointment that follows them everywhere — have persuaded our credulous, virtue-signalling elites of a number of things that are simply not true.

There is no “rape culture” on college campuses. That doesn’t mean rape doesn’t happen or that it isn’t awful. But rape rates have been falling all over the West for decades.

There is no “gender pay gap”. In almost no organisations are women paid less than men for the same work. When stories do come out about pay gaps, they are almost exclusively in left-wing org­anisations, such as Gawker, the BBC and Hillary Clinton’s election team. Even a — female — Harvard economist couldn’t prove the existence of a wage gap when she tried last year.

President Donald Trump used three tweeted videos to highlight the hostility of Islam’s ideas towards non-Muslims — prompting a huge pushback by progressives who focused on the process, not the message.

The first video showed a Muslim youth being thrown to his death by Islamic activists during 2013 anti-government rioting in Cairo, Egypt. The rioting took place after the military removed Egypt’s Islamic government, which was controlled by the Egypt-based Muslim Brotherhood. The alleged murderer, Mahmoud Ramadan, was hanged in 2015

A second video shows Muslim destroying a Christian statue deemed by Muslims to be a false idol. Islamic law considers Allah to be the only deity and it bars worship of deceased people. The video ends with the Muslim calling for “Takbir,” an affirmation of Islamic faith. He gets the orthodox response, “Allahu Akbar,” meaning “Allah is Supreme,” which also means that Allah is the single deity supreme over all others, including Mary, the mother of Jesus.

The remaining video is widely described as a fake. It shows a normal Dutch youth — not a Muslim — attacking another Dutch youth. “The perpetrator was not a Muslim, let alone a migrant, but simply a Dutchman,” said a translated statement on the website which published the video.

Once again the BBC wheels out the Muslim Council of Britain to condemn a Trump retweet. The MCB, for starters, has a deputy secretary general who believes women should be stoned to death. This is who they deem appropriate to condemn Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has come under fire for retweeting “violent messages” posted by Jayda Fransen,  deputy leader of Britain First.

The graphic tweets include video footage captioned “Islamist mob pushes teenage boy off roof and beats him to death!”

A second tweet was captioned “Muslim destroys statue of Virgin Mary”, while a third read “Muslim migrant beats up Dutch boy on crutches”.

The original tweets come from the deputy leader of Britain First, Jayda Fransen, who was arrested last week over a speech she made in Belfast in the summer.

The Muslim Council for Britain called on the UK government to “distance” itself from the comments.

“This is the clearest endorsement yet from the US president of the far-right and their vile anti-Muslim propaganda,” a spokeswoman said.

None of these videos has been independently verified.

All of them might be faked, spliced, photo-shopped – who the hell knows? Stuff like this flies around the internet all day every day and much of it cannot be trusted.

Brussels is opening legal pathways for migrants “who want to come” says European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker, declaring that Europe has a “clear need” for mass migration from Africa.

Speaking ahead of the EU-Africa summit this week, where leaders of EU and African nations will meet to discuss migration, he told Deusche Well that “if we don’t offer legal ways of emigrating to Europe, and immigrating within Europe, we will be lost.

“If those who come — who are, generally speaking, the poor and needy — are no longer able to enter the house of Europe through the front door, they’ll keep making their way in through the back windows.”

Claiming that the continent “will clearly need immigration in the coming decades”, he said EU nations “have to provide [Africans] who want to come, and are able to come, and whose situation makes it possible for them to come, with legal paths to get to Europe”.

Myanmar’s foreign minister and de facto leader Aung San Suu Kyi was announced the 2017 International Islamophobe of the Year on Sunday.

Her atrocities targeting Myanmar’s Muslim minority are so egregious that she shot past other nominated international Islamophobes, U.S. President Donald Trump, French far-right party National Front leader Marie Le Pen, far-right Dutch party Freedoms Party leader Geert Wildres. (sic)

Between 2,000 and 3,000 Muslims were killed in Myanmar’s Rakhine state in the last three days, according to the European Rohingya Council and more than 617,000 Rohingya Muslims were forced to take shelter in neighboring Bangladesh.

The annual Islamophobia Awards by the London-based Islamic Human Rights Commission hosted the representatives of many NGOs and Muslims.  The program started with recitation from the Muslim’s holy book of Quran.

Trevor Philips is a serial offender. He’s made a career out of fuelling the Mohammedan expansion program through grievance mongering. Ironic that he now sees himself as a victim of his success.

The annual Islamophobia awards are “genuinely dangerous”, according to Trevor Phillips, the former equalities chief who is nominated for a controversial satirical award from the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC).

Phillips said the label “painted a target on the back of people on the list”. He added: “Defining Louise or myself or anybody else as an Islamophobe is offering a licence to do us harm.”
