How is it that our schools are full of politically correct fiction masquerading as fact even after a decade of supposedly conservative government in NSW and eight years in Canberra? Essentially ministers are too timid or too ignorant to do their job.

Churches Are Being Vandalized, Burned to the Ground in Canada
A Vietnamese church in Calgary was also targeted by arsonists who destroyed part of their church building.
Pastor Thai Nguyen, a Vietnamese refugee who fled to Canada for safety, said it may now be safer for Christians in Vietnam.

As we all sweat on the next round of restrictions designed to save us from the “deadly disease”I offer the following regarding the situation here in SA, the state of darkness.
Currently we have zero Covid cases in hospital and that has been the situation for months.
Since the beginning of this year there have been 760,000 tests done to identify 249 cases. This is a rate of 3,052 tests per case. If the cost per test all-up, (including the testing infrastructure, labour and lab testing costs), was $50.00 then the cost to identify each case has been $152,600.00 and no one has died and no one is in hospital. There have been a total of 4 deaths in SA, the last being on 12 April 2020 – well over one year ago.
The grand total to date for SA cases is 831 giving a Case Fatality Rate of 4/831 which is 0.48%. Applying this to the 2021 case count of 249 we should have had one more death but there have been zero.

Lockdown continues as NSW records 35 new COVID-19 cases
New South Wales reported 35 new cases of COVID-19, including 33 linked to previously confirmed cases, on Monday in the 24 hours to 8 pm on Sunday. Greater Sydney, Wollongong, Central Coast and Blue Mountains entered a two-week lockdown from 6 pm on June 26.

Of the two new cases, both women in their 70s, one resident is fully vaccinated, and one has not been vaccinated. The three previously reported cases were fully vaccinated.

The deification of chief health officers has been one of the most demoralising developments of the Covid-19 crisis. In Queensland chief health officer Jeannette Young we see the nanny state in human form, a scolding schoolmarm issuing orders dressed up as advice.
Premiers need to ‘stop hiding behind’ public health officials such as Queensland’s chief health officer Dr Jeannette Young and ‘recover the dignity of their office by finding a way out of this stalemate’.
Young was foolish to allow herself to be drawn into the politics of vaccines last week. However, she was on solid ground when she pointed out the comparative risk of dying from the virus and an adverse reaction from the vaccine varied significantly between young and old.
