Morocco calls for return of ‘occupied territory’

* Of course: all of Al Andaluz is ‘occupied territory’-

but at present the official demand for return is ‘only’ for Ceuta and Melilla, Spain’s possessions in North Africa since more than 400 years. But rest assured, once these territories are returned, the quest for Spain will continue. Wasn’t it just last week that Al Zawahiri, Bin Ladens quack called every Muslim to wage jihad in Africa and called for Spain to be returned to the ummah? Because all land, any land, once conquered by the soldiers of Allah, must never be relinquished to the kuffar…

Morocco recalls ambassador from Spain

By HAROLD HECKLE, Associated Press Writer

Spain’s King Juan Carlos, left and Morocco’s King Mohammed VI

MADRID, Spain – Morocco recalled its ambassador from Spain on Friday after what it called a regrettable plan by Spain’s king and queen to visit two Spanish enclaves in North Africa that are claimed by Morocco.

King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia are to make their first official visit to Ceuta and Melilla, Spain’s possessions in North Africa. Both territories are claimed by Morocco and are located on its northern Mediterranean coastline.

Spain insists the cities are as Spanish as Madrid or Barcelona. Morocco calls them “occupied” territory.

The cities, remnants of Spain’s once globe-spanning colonial empire, have been Spanish for more than 400 years, longer than Morocco has been a sovereign state, Spain says.

The two-day royal visit starting Monday, long-sought by residents of the enclaves, will be Juan Carlos’ first trip to Ceuta and Melilla as head of state. He and his wife visited in 1970, before he became king.

Morocco’s Foreign Ministry announced the “indefinite recall for consultation” of Ambassador Omar Azziman “following the official announcement … of the regrettable visit by his majesty King Juan Carlos on Nov. 5 and 6 to the occupied cities of Ceuta and Melilla,” the official Moroccan news agency MAP said Friday.

Morocco’s claim to Ceuta and Melilla has been a long-standing sore point in bilateral relations, which have become closer since 2004, when Spain’s left-leaning Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero took office, replacing conservative Jose Maria Aznar.

The enclave controversy is one of several sources of tension across the narrow straits that divide Morocco and Spain.

This week, Moroccan government spokesman Khalid Naciri questioned the motivations of a Spanish judge, Baltasar Garzon, who announced the opening of an inquest into suspected atrocities against North African Saharawi people — ostensibly at the hands of Moroccan authorities. Naciri accused Garzon of dabbling in politics.

Spain withdrew from its former colony Western Sahara after the death of dictator Francisco Franco in 1975, and Morocco annexed the territory — the Saharawi people’s ancestral homeland. Saharawis have said crimes were committed during and after the Moroccan invasion.

In 2002, during Aznar’s premiership, a handful of Moroccan soldiers briefly occupied the half-square-mile Spanish island of Perejil, near the Moroccan coast.

Spanish troops swiftly dislodged the Moroccans from the rocky island, which Spain has claimed for centuries. Under a U.S.-mediated diplomatic resolution, both sides agreed not to put troops on it again.

On Thursday, MAP carried comments from Naciri on relations with Spain.

“All Moroccans agree that Ceuta and Melilla are Moroccan and that there is not a single Moroccan who thinks or who would write otherwise,” he was quoted as saying.

* All 5 gazillion Muslims in the world support that claim, each and every one of them…

Naciri stressed Morocco’s desire for good relations with Spain, but added that “the time for colonial responses is definitely over.”

There are “red lines related to Morocco’s territorial integrity that must not be crossed,” MAP quoted Naciri as saying. “Our Spanish friends should understand.”

He called for a solution to the problem through negotiations.

An official of the Spanish royal palace, speaking on condition of anonymity, declined to say why the royal couple had chosen now to make the trip.

The last Spanish monarch to visit Ceuta and Melilla was Juan Carlos grandfather, Alfonso XIII, in 1927.

Spanish leaders tend to stay away from them because of the political sensitivities. A January 2006 visit by Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero was the first official trip by a Spanish premier since 1980.

UK: ‘Rivers of blood’ candidate forced to resign

From ‘The Truth Is Bad News” Department:

Nigel Hastilow: he was forced to go after refusing to retract his remarks
Francis Elliott, Deputy Political Editor/Times Online

*
A Conservative candidate who said that Enoch Powell was right about immigration resigned yesterday, insisting that he had done nothing wrong.

Nigel Hastilow, a former newspaper editor and until yesterday the Tory candidate for the marginal seat of Halesowen in the West Midlands, quit after a meeting with Caroline Spelman, the party chairman.

He had been asked to apologise for an article he wrote for the Express and Star newspaper in Wolverhampton in which he invoked Mr Powell’s infamous “Rivers of blood” speech. “When you ask most people in the Black Country what the single biggest problem facing the country is, most say immigration,” he wrote. “Many insist: ‘Enoch Powell was right.’

“Enoch, once MP for Wolverhampton South-West, was sacked from the Conservative front bench and marginalised politically for his 1968 ‘Rivers of blood’ speech, warning that uncontrolled immigration would change our country irrevocably. He was right. It has changed dramatically.”

enoch_powellgif.gif

Enoch Powell

The candidate, the former editor of The Birmingham Post, was asked during the one-hour meeting at Ms Spelman’s home in Solihull to make a full public apology as a condition of staying a parliamentary candidate.

In the official statement announcing his resignation Mr Hastilow said that he was sorry if his article had “undermined the progress David Cameron has made on the issue of immigration” but he failed to retract his remarks. Afterwards, he said that he had been unable to “come to terms” with the Tory party chairman.

He said: “They wanted me to issue a statement apologising and I didn’t feel I had anything to apologise for,” he said. “If I had said sorry I could have stayed on, but I am not sorry.” He repeated that immigration was an important issue. As far as I am concerned, there are too many people coming into the country and we cannot afford to accommodate them.”

He told The Times that he had been taken aback by the support that he had received. “I have had hundreds of e-mails from all over the country telling me to keep at it. I left a pile of them with Caroline.”

He added that he accepted that his political career was now at an end.

Mr Hastilow had received the support of his local party before meeting with Ms Spelman. Mary Docker, the chairman of the Halesowen and Rowley Regis Conservative Association, said: “He’s a very strong local candidate who’s got the Labour Party scared.”

After his resignation Jeffrey Hill, a local Tory councillor and member of Mr Hastilow’s campaign team, said: “I would have continued to support him as a local candidate. When he said that people were raising immigration as their primary concern on the doorstep he was telling the truth.”

* Looks like the people don’t matter in new Islamic Britannia

However, Mr Hill conceded that the candidate had come to the seat with a reputation for being outspoken. Standing for the Tories in 2001 in Edgbaston, Mr Hastilow wrote that William Hague, then the party leader, was “struggling to reignite a party which seems to have lost the fire needed to do battle and lost the will to win”.

Although Mr Hastilow’s resignation spares Mr Cameron some embarrassment, senior politicians expressed disappointment that he had not been summarily dismissed like Patrick Mercer, sacked from the front bench for condoning racial abuse in the Armed Forces.

Hazel Blears, the Communities Secretary, said: “It is right that Mr Hastilow will not stand as a candidate but the real question is why did David Cameron dither for 24 hours over whether to sack him before Mr Hastilow resigned. David Cameron still has not condemned Mr Hastilow’s words and he must do so without any further dithering.”

‘We must be mad, literally mad . . . ’

These are extracts from Enoch Powell’s speech on April 20, 1968 to Conservatives in the West Midlands:

Those whom the gods wish to destroy, they first make mad. We must be mad, literally mad, as a nation to be permitting the annual inflow of some 50,000 dependants who are for the most part the material of future growth of the immigrant-descended population.

“It is like watching a nation busily engaged in heaping up its own funeral pyre. As I look ahead I am filled with foreboding. Like the Roman, I seem to see ‘the River Tiber foaming with much blood’. That tragic and intractable phenomenon which we watch with horror on the other side of the Atlantic but which there is interwoven with the history and existence of the States itself, is coming upon us here by our own volition and our own neglect.

“Indeed, it has all but come in numerical terms, it will be of American proportions long before the end of the century. Only resolute and urgent action will avert it even now.

“Whether there will be the public will to demand and obtain that action, I do not know. All I know is that to see and not to speak would be the greatest betrayal.”

* Indeed. There is lots of betrayal going on in the Western world today. And its been a long time since a traitor was hanged for treason…

‘All modern discoveries are by Muslim scientists’

They cured polio, flew to the moon, perfected the heart transplant — wait, no, scratch that. But they did do absolutely everything else.

There is a certain sadness to this kind of ridiculous triumphalism, for it just begs the question of why, then, is the Islamic world so mired in misery today?

But that question, of course, brings us right back to Zionist Crusader paranoia. It’s too bad Muslim scientists haven’t discovered a cure for that.

saliba.jpg

LAHORE: Muslim scientists have made all discoveries of the current age, said University of Columbia’s Arabic and Islamic Studies prof George Saliba at a seminar at the Government College University (GCU) on Monday. The seminar, titled The Problems of Historiography of Islamic Science, was held at Fazl-e-Hussain Hall. Saliba gave a critique of the standard classical accounts of the rise of Islamic science. He detailed problems in the accounts and explained alternative historiography that described the rise of an Islamic scientific tradition as a result of social and political conditions within the nascent Islamic empire. He said Muslim philosophy was the impetus behind Islamic science that had contributed to various disciplines including botany, zoology, algebra, trigonometry, physics, chemistry, astronomy, physics, chemistry, physiology and mathematics in the pre-industrial era. He said the use of decimal fractions was not a Western invention and that it was discovered by a Muslim scientist. He said the binary system, on which the computer was based, was also invented by a Muslim scientist. He said Arab/Islamic science was not an intermediary between Greek science and European science, but was rather the Renaissance that integrated the Islamic science with European science. Saliba also visited the English Language and Literature Department where he engaged faculty members in a conversation on the Islamic and Renaissance paradigms.

* There you go. Still wondering why they cook history, destroy Buddha statues and deny that the temple mount belongs to the Jews?

* Islam and Muslims for 1400 years have nothing to show for except destruction, enslavement, piracy, subjugation of infidels, and overall abject poverty. They have developed the spinning of tall tales and false claims into a fine art. Ever since Muhammad claimed that Jesus, Moses, Abraham etc. were all Muslims, the soldiers of Allah usurped other peoples achievements while at the same time destroying everything that stood in the way of Islam.

Isn’t it odd that Moses Maimonides, a Jewish rabbi, physician, and philosopher in Andalusia was actually Shaykh Musa bin Maymoun al-Qurtubi for the Muslims?

Why not? Was he not a good dhimmi who was allowed to live and work in Islamic Spain? So why not claim his achievements for Islam?

You can find the good ‘sheik Maimonides’ on Yusuf Irfan’s website, aptly named ‘planet irf’- but we won’t link to it…

gse_multipart56029.jpg

Yet the philosopher Maimonides, a Jew who lived for a time in Muslim Spain and then fled that supposedly tolerant and pluralistic land, remarked, “you know, my brethren, that on account of our sins God has cast us into the midst of this people, the nation of Ishmael, who persecute us severely, and who devise ways to harm us and to debase us…No nation has ever done more harm to Israel. None has matched it in debasing and humiliating us. None has been able to reduce us as they have….We have borne their imposed degradation, their lies, and absurdities, which are beyond human power to bear.”

Notably, Maimonides directed that Jews could teach rabbinic law to Christians, but not to Muslims. For Muslms, he said, will interpret what they are taught “according to their erroneous principles and they will oppress us. [F]or this reason…they hate all [non-Muslims] who live among them.” But the Christians, he said, “admit that the text of the Torah, such as we have it, is intact” as opposed to the Islamic view that the Jews and Christians have corrupted their scriptures. Christians, continued Maimonides, “do not find in their religious law any contradiction with ours.”

Holland: Government subsidies for mosques “not unconstitutional’

From the -sinking- land of blue eyed fools:

* Subsidies for mosques “not unconstitutional?’ Of course not.

After all, it’s a Religion of Peace!

0102-02.jpg

* Peaceful Muslims after Friday prayers…

So are they at least trying to determine which mosques are openly preaching jihad and Islamic supremacism and which aren’t? Why, of course not! What are you, some kind of Islamophobe?

“The Lower House was debating with the government on the controversial Westermoskee mosque, for which Amsterdam municipality provided a loan of 2 million euros. Once the construction had started, the mosque withdrew its signature from a covenant pledging it would send out a liberal message.”

“Ministers: Govt Subsidies for Mosques Not Unconstitutional,” from NIS News (thanks to Fjordman via DW):

THE HAGUE, 03/11/07 – The government is inquiring whether Milli Gorus is an extremist organisation but will continue to subsidise it. Milli Gorus is also to remain an official discussion partner for cabinet policy regarding Muslims.
Separation of church and state means that interference by the State in internal religious issues is not accepted, but it does not mean there can be no common ground between political and religious organisations. Government financial support is possible for organisations and activities that are “affiliated to religious organisations” such as mosques, according to Justice Minister Ernst Hirsch Ballin.

The Lower House was debating with the government on the controversial Westermoskee mosque, for which Amsterdam municipality provided a loan of 2 million euros. Once the construction had started, the mosque withdrew its signature from a covenant pledging it would send out a liberal message. Furthermore, 1.2 million euros has disappeared through presumed fraud. The construction has been halted.

* Beautiful. The Euro-dhimmi’s pay for a bunker where the religion of peace plans the destruction of infidels and Jews but the good Muslims steal the money: just give ’em some more!

During the debate, conservative (VVD) MP Henk Kamp wondered why the government indirectly subsidises the construction of mosques but not that of churches or houses of worship of other religions. Integration Minister Ella Vogelaar thereupon replied that subsidies could help create a more positive image of certain groups that need this. “Naturally, these are difficult considerations” and “one must look carefully which organisations the government enters into agreements with”.

Naturally!

Amsterdam entered into an agreement with envoys of the controversial Turkish organisation Milli Gorus. Vogelaar: “The Westermoskee case illustrates how difficult this choice can sometimes prove and that in hindsight, a different choice should possibly have been made”. The actual intention was to promote the integration of Turks by building a mosque, since “mosques can help to reach certain groups”.

* They do. The mosques really do reach ‘certain groups’ – hahahaha!

060517castaway-x.gif
Vogelaar also confirmed there was “a subsidy relationship with Milli Gorus” and her ministry on a national level. She has no wish to end this relationship and would only “consider this if indications should emerge that give cause for suspicion of criminal acts or extremism”. The same applies to the position of Milli Gorus in the Contact Body of Muslims and the Government (CMO), with which the government consults on integration policy.

According to Party For Freedom (PVV) MP Sietse Fritsma, such indications are numerous. He exhibited a file of quotes by international Milli Gorus leaders, “such as ‘Jews are bacteria’, he stated. Vogelaar however remained adamant that there were no indications of extremism, although Fritsma further attempted that “you know how things go at the European headquarters of Milli Gorus in Germany”.

images3.jpg

Vogelaar also refused to confirm that Westermoskee leaders were “untrustworthy”, as Kamp said they were. He too had “indications that Milli Gorus expressly obstructs the integration of Turks in the Netherlands”. With the exception of Christian mini-pary SGP, which also expressed serious concern, the other parties hardly contributed to the debate.

Reluctantly, Vogelaar promised the VVD and PVV an inquiry into Milli Gorus. She did remark that precisely due to the separation of church and state, it is “not for us to judge” the degree of radicalisation of religious organisations.

* Of course not! ‘Not for us to judge’- don’t you just love it?

* Wanna be ‘liberated’ by Vogelaar?

Italy terrorism raids: 20 arrested

* Caliphate News Network discovers ‘Salafite Jihad cells’,- but not a word about Islam:

ROME, Italy (CNN) — Twenty people suspected of involvement in the recruitment of suicide bombers were arrested in Italy and other European countries Tuesday, an Italian police spokesman told CNN.

Those arrested are suspected of forming Salafite Jihad cells who were recruiting suicide bombers and sending them to Iraq and Afghanistan, said Col. Mario Parente, deputy commander of the Carabinieri special forces unit.

He said a total of 20 Italy were being arrested Tuesday. Police arrested 11 people in Italy and nine others across Europe.

Parente did not specify in which countries the arrests were carried out.

During the arrests, Parente said, police found al Qaeda manuals for the production of explosives, detonation devices, and various poisons. He said the manuals also included details of guerrilla-style war operations.

Those arrested are also accused of producing false documents, facilitating illegal immigration, and covering up other individuals wanted for terrorism-related crimes, Parente said

Debate on U.S. Kosovo Policy Brewing in Washington

* Hello? Anybody home? Anybody realizing what the Clitman administration has done in Kosovo?

One of the supreme ironies of the “Global War on Terror” has been the consistency with which the US has pursued pro-jihadist foreign and military policies since the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1979. Not even the spectacular carnage of 9/11 has shaken the resolve of the State Department, for example, to back Muslim demands against Christian Serbia in Kosovo. The US of course backed jihadis during the Balkan wars of the 1990s, first the Bosnians — allying ourselves with such Muslim luminaries as Alija Izetbegovic (see his Islamic Declaration if you still aren’t sure of his true sympathies) and Osama bin Laden (that’s “Mr bin Laden” if you ask the New York Times) — and later the KLA in Kosovo.

wahabi_mosque_urosevac.jpg

* Wahabi mosque in Kosovo

*
Slowly — haltingly — it seems that reality is beginning to catch up with US policy. Herewith the latest from the redoubtable Serge Trifkovic in Chronicles Magazine on US policy in Kosovo:

As we near the deadline of December 10 for the Contact Group “Troika’s” report on its attempts to negotiate a solution to the problem of Kosovo, the voices of reason in the United States are finally becoming more influential and more articulate than ever before. Over the past two weeks alone, John Bolton, Christian Science Monitor commentator David Young, and a host of prominent analysts meeting at a conference in Washington D.C. have warned that the U.S. policy in the Balkans is heading for the rocks.
On November 1 the Voice of America interviewed former U.S. Ambassador to the UN, John Bolton, about the future status of Kosovo. Mr. Bolton expressed the view that the State Department has conducted a consistently anti-Serbian policy for more than 15 years. Unfortunately, he said, this biased policy has continued even though there is no logical reason for it after the fall of Milosevic:

While Serbia is trying to establish an effective and functional democracy regarding human rights and other issues, the anti-Serbian policy has continued, especially with regard to Kosovo, where a decision in favor of its independence could only create other concerns. Such a decision could impact on the democracy in progress in Serbia, and the possibility that the Security Council would step beyond its authority, which would be very unfortunate. This is one of the numerous examples of behavior by the State Department, which is a problem the next President has to solve.
John Bolton is the most prominent former Administration official so far to be so outspoken about the U.S. policy in the former Yugoslavia. In his VoA interview he was adamant that the United States should not recognize any unilateral declaration of Kosovo independence:

Such a decision, which would be taken under threat of violence, would actually represent a way to reward bad behavior. The issue of Kosovo should be solved by two parties at the negotiation table . . . this is much better than to impose a solution on one side or the other, based on a wrong understanding of the situation.
Bolton added that the last thing we should do is to sow the seeds for future conflicts under the pressure of one side or the other. Of his new book, “Surrender Is Not an Option: Defending America at the United Nations and Abroad,” Bolton said it was focused on how the policy is actually formulated. He quoted a senior State Department official who told him that “if they knew how we formulate our foreign policy, Americans would be very dissatisfied.”

Indeed they would. Read it all.

“U.S. Kosovo Policy Is Bad for Israel”

From Israel’s prestigious Begin-Sadat Center, Bar Ilan University: The more you pull the thread to appease the jihadists, the more the sweater unravels. Hand them Kosovo today, the more pressure builds to chop up Israel too.

“Strong American support for the independence of Kosovo is detrimental to Israeli interests. Washington futilely hopes to curry favor with the Islamic world through appeasement; effectively gives a fresh impetus to the ongoing growth of Islamic influence in Europe; and denies the fact that the putative state’s leaders are tainted by terrorism, criminality, and well-documented links with global jihad. Most importantly, it betrays a cynically postmodern contempt for all claims based on the historical rights and spiritual significance of a land to a nation” — claims at the heart of modern Israel.

Sydney: 1,000 protest against Islamic school

* From the ABC with thanks to Savitch:

* From the ‘come and smell the coffee’ department:

Around 1,000 people rallied against plans to build a large Islamic school in south-west Sydney last night.

The Quranic society has lodged a development application for a 1,200-place school with Camden Council but Mayor Chris Paterson says there have already been 284 submissions against the proposal.

Councillor Paterson says most of the opposition is on planning and traffic grounds.

One woman speaking at last night’s meeting said residents were concerned about traffic and they did not want people from Muslim backgrounds like in areas closer to Sydney.

“I believe in everyone having their own religion, whether they’re Catholic, Church of England or Muslims – they’re fine – but I’ve seen what’s happened at Bankstown,” she said.

“Bankstown used to be a really nice town. People are terrified.”

Local federal MP Pat Farmer, who also attended the meeting, says it is not a racist issue.

“It’s more an issue of council consulting with the local people in their area to be able to have a say in what goes on in their area,” he said.

Mr Farmer says people are concerned that the historic rural feeling of their town may change.

“Council requires an application if you want to do something as little as setting up a barbecue area out in your backyard to a pergola, let alone fences around your property. Council has a say in all of that,” he said.

Israel’s anti-Zionist leaders

From October 26-30, a mob of Druse villagers in Peki’in in the Galilee launched what has all the markings of a pogrom against the four Jewish families in the village. They burned their cars and surrounded and torched their homes.

The police took a full day to come to the Jews’ defense. And when they did, the Druse mob kidnapped a policewoman and only set her free in exchange for their cohorts who had been arrested. The police then set about evacuating the Jews from their encircled homes and did nothing to prevent their homes from being destroyed by the mob.

Now the Knesset’s Interior Committee is demanding that a governmental commission of inquiry be set up to investigate what the Druse claim was police brutality in attempting to disperse the violent mob. For its part the Olmert government is distancing itself from Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter’s decision to suffice with an internal police investigation of the policemen’s behavior at the scene.

tony_blair_is_a_wanker.jpg

Tony Blair, simply assumes that treaty-making is the same everywhere in the world. It has never occurred to him — why should it, given his temperament, given his mental makeup — that possibly in the world of Islam, treaty-making with Infidels is not a matter of Pacta Sunt Servanda, but of doing exactly as Muhammad did, in 628 A.D., when he made the Treaty, or Agreement, with the Meccans, a treaty that was essentially a “truce treaty” or “hudna” that was to last ten years, and that he broke at the first opportunity, just as soon as he felt strong enough to attack the Meccans. It is regarded in Muslim commentaries as the final word on how Muslims should regard any treaties, agreements, hudnas, that they might sign, at a time when such signing is made necessary by events.

Does Tony Blair know that? Does he care to examine all the other treaties and agreements that Israel entered into with the Arab Muslim states, starting with the Armistice Agreements of 1949? Does he?

“Gisha,” a human rights group advocating freedom of movement for Palestinians, is pressing the Israeli Supreme Court to allow university students to leave Gaza to continue their studies abroad. The group included Yaser Betar in its suit, presenting the court with a one-page document from the University of North Texas affirming that he is enrolled in a doctorate program.

But after the AP sent the document to the university, its spokeswoman replied that the document was not authentic, and Betar “is not currently enrolled at the university. He studied Engineering Technology as an undergraduate student from spring 1992 to fall 1998 and did not earn a degree.”

MI5 says {Muslim} kids groomed for terror attacks

* Its not as if we didn’t know it, but:

* Please note that in Gordon Brownnoses Britain you can’t call it ‘Islamic terrorism’ any longer, because that might just upset innocent Muslims so much that they might become….Islamic terrorists…

By DAVID STRINGER, Associated Press

‘Extremists’ are grooming children and teenagers to plot terrorist attacks against Britain, the director of the domestic spy agency said Monday.

* The ‘extremists’ must be Buddhists or Hindu’s, no doubt…

But Jonathan Evans, making his first public speech since becoming director-general of Britain’s MI5 agency in April, said vital resources needed to tackle terrorism are being diverted to counter the espionage threat from Russia and China.

“Terrorists are methodically and intentionally targeting young people and children in this country,” Evans said, according to a text of his speech in Manchester, England. “They are radicalizing, indoctrinating and grooming young, vulnerable people to carry out acts of terrorism.”

Testimony from a U.S. terrorist-turned-witness in British court cases has revealed how young Britons are trained for attacks at terrorist camps in tribal areas of Pakistan.

Evans said though Pakistan remains a key training ground for Britons, similar centers are emerging elsewhere. Al-Qaida in Iraq is attempting to stage attacks outside Iraq and parts of East Africa, particularly Somalia, have become a key area for training and planning of attacks on Britain, he said.

Evans said thwarting plots alone is not enough to stop the threat of extremist terrorism, and urged the government and society to counter the message of radical preachers.

“If we only react tactically while our enemies plan strategically, we shall be hard put to win this. A key part of our strategy must be perseverance,” Evans said at a newspaper editors’ conference. “It starts with rejection of the violent extremist ideology across society.”

* Hmm. And where does this ‘violent extremist ideology’ come from if not from the mosques, the madrassah’s, the Koran and the sunnah?

He said al-Qaida “has a clear determination to mount terrorist attacks against the United Kingdom.”

* Really?

But Evans warned that efforts to tackle terrorism are being stalled by work to halt foreign intelligence agents from stealing sensitive information on civilian and military technology. He singled out agents from Russia and China.

* Right. Worry about China and Russia stealing military technology, but sell it to Saudis and other despotic Arab regimes. Makes sense. Does it?

“So, despite the Cold War ending nearly two decades ago, my service is still expending resources to defend the U.K. against unreconstructed attempts by Russia, China and others, to spy on us,” he said.

Officials at the Russian Embassy in London were not immediately available for comment.

At least 2,000 jihadists in UK; teens recruited

Orwells ‘Animal Farm’ revisited

* Jonathan Evans took over as director of MI5 in April

Evans is in trouble for this: “But the Ramadhan Foundation said it was concerned Mr Evans had not stressed the 2,000 people suspected of involvement in extremist activity made up only a small proportion of the 1.6 million Muslim population. Mohammed Shafiq, a spokesman for the Muslim youth organisation, said the language was inflammatory and called for responsible dialogue.”

So pointing out that there are 2,000 jihadists in the UK is “inflammatory” unless one takes pains to point out also that there are 1,598,000 peaceful Muslims in Britain as well? And what assurance do we have that none of those 1,598,000 peaceful Muslims agree with the jihad ideology or Islamic supremacism — particularly when such things can’t even be discussed in the public sphere? And how helpful is it for a Muslim leader to take offense at something as silly as this? Did World War II leaders stop to assure us constantly that the vast majority of Germans weren’t Nazis? Would anyone sane have taken offense if they didn’t do this?

Suspend Muslim immigration: Hanson

* Here we go again: not one article in the MSM without the ‘right-wing firebrand’ smears:

SENATE hopeful Pauline Hanson has accused the Federal Government of opening up the immigration floodgates to people “who have no intention of being Australian”.

images1.jpg

Ms Hanson, who is running in the federal election under the banner of Pauline’s United Australia Party, was campaigning on similar policies to those that won her international notoriety a decade ago, including calling for a moratorium on Muslim immigration.

Campaigning in NSW, the right-wing firebrand told website www.federalelection.com.au she was worried about the loss of Australian values, particularly as a result of Muslim immigration.

“I’ve seen the destruction of our industry, manufacturing, our farmers, everything that is Aussie and to be proud of … that’s been lost,” she said.

“They’ve just opened up the floodgates to allow people here that have no intention of being Australian or being proud Australians.

“I’ve actually now called for a moratorium on Muslim immigration because I believe it’s not for reasons of religious or any other reason.

“But I think it is a cultural difference to us as Australians and we must protect our own culture.”

Ms Hanson, who co-founded the One Nation party, listed “Australian values” as the nation’s culture, way of life and standard of living.

She said if she held the balance of power in the Senate she would be willing to block legislation she did not agree with.

“If it is not in the best interests of our country and the Australian people, yes I would,” she said.

“I wouldn’t do deals and sell myself out or the people out for that.

“I would fight to make the politicians accountable to us and that’s what they haven’t done and that’s why I’m standing again and that’s why people are getting behind me in the support.

“They don’t believe that there is true representation.”

Ms Hanson’s vote will be bolstered by the fact she has registered a party.

When Ms Hanson ran for the Senate in 2004 she appeared under the line as an individual candidate – a position which historically attracts fewer votes.

Family First rewarding Hanson: Democrats

* The ‘Australian Democrats’ are without a doubt the most irrelevant bunch of socialist wankers and flakes downunder. All the more telling that they see themselves threatened by Hanson, which they try to portray as a fire-spewing witch:

The Australian Democrats have accused Family First of “rewarding” Pauline Hanson for her “extremist” views by giving her its preferences.

The right-wing firebrand’s chances of being elected to a Queensland senate seat have been boosted by Family First, which has revealed it will give her its preferences after the coalition.

Democrats Senator Andrew Bartlett, who faces a battle to retain his seat, accused Family First of rewarding Ms Hanson for her “extremist and destructive” views.

His comments came after the former One Nation leader on Sunday renewed her calls for a halt to Muslim immigration, saying some migrants had no intention of being Australian.

“The Family First party clearly believes that families don’t come first if they are Muslim, African or Asian families,” Senator Bartlett said in a statement.

“This sort of prejudice and ignorance repeatedly expressed by Pauline Hanson is incredibly damaging to our social fabric, as well as incredibly hurtful to Muslim Australians.

“It should be unequivocally opposed, not rewarded with preferences.”

Senator Bartlett said if there was a large swing away from the coalition, there was a “real chance” that Family First’s senate preferences would flow to Ms Hanson should she outpoll them.

“Combined with favourable preference allocations from a range of smaller groups … there is no doubt Pauline Hanson is now a credible chance if she gains a reasonable primary vote herself,” Senator Bartlett said.

He listed the smaller groups as the Shooters’ Party, two different fishing parties, the non-Custodial Parents’ Party, One Nation, the Liberty and Democracy Party, the Carers’ Party and some independents.

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity.

The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceasedto be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities – but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”

OMG! Hello-oooooooooo! They were NAZIS!
Not only that, but today Germany STILL uses the same song the Nazi’s did for the National Anthem!

Das Lied der Deutschen (“The Song of the Germans”, also known as Das Deutschlandlied, “The Germany song”) has been used wholly or partially as the national anthem of Germany since 1922. Outside Germany, the hymn is sometimes informally known by the opening words and refrain of the first stanza, Deutschland, Deutschland über alles.

If they weren’t Nazi’s, wouldn’t they pick a differen’t tune?

I’d rather live next to a Muslim than stinking German.

Pali-Swine Shoot Rockets From Boys School in Gaza

* The footage, taken by IDF aircraft on Monday, October 29, 2007, shows three -Islamic- terrorists preparing and then launching the shells from the school.

idfmortarsgazaschool268.jpg

* When will the Western propagandists from Al Reuters and Associated Press stop inventing apologies for the bottomless depravity of these murderous zombies?

(Communicated by the IDF Spokesman)

Filmed footage taken on Monday shows a terrorist cell captured on tape while launching mortar bombs from an elementary school for boys in the town of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.

The footage, taken by IDF aircraft on Monday, October 29, 2007 at approximately 9:00 am, shows three terrorists preparing and then launching the mortars from the school, which they used for cover immediately afterwards. The IDF targeted and hit the terrorists as they were fleeing the school premises.

* Islamic terrorists rely on the humanity of the ideological enemy…

The terrorist organizations, headed and controlled by Hamas, constantly and cynically use the uninvolved Palestinian civilians and children as human shields, as seen in the released footage. This puts uninvolved Palestinians in danger. The responsibility lies with the terrorist organizations alone.

UK: Hypocritical Mosque Chairman Slams Report

_41351697_mohammed_naseem203.jpg

* More lies and denial from the creeps who deny responsibility: its never about what they say and do, but whining and complaining that they have been found out…

The report published on Monday 28, October by the Policy Exchange think-tank has been condemned by the chairman of Birmingham’s Central Mosque. The Policy Exchange sent researchers to almost 100 mosques, and found extremist literature in a quarter of the mosques visited. Much of this material was of Saudi Arabian origin.

The chairman of Birmingham Central Mosque is 84-year old Mohammad Naseem (pictured above left), who claims to be a “moderate”. He is a bizarre character, whose hypocrisies I will describe below. In an article from the Birmingham Post, Naseem called the Policy Exchange study “irresponsible”.

He said: “A mosque is an open, public place and anyone can distribute literature or leave literature in a mosque. The real question is who is publishing these leaflets? These are people that spread hatred and the people who do publish this literature generally don’t put their name on it. If such literature comes to our notice we will confiscate it and we will report it to the police.”

He added: “My presumption is that these leaflets have nothing to do with the mosques – it’s irresponsible to suggest that a quarter of mosques are involved with this.”

* Except that these leaflets are based on the Koran and the sunnah. So how can it be wrong? When will these pesky kuffars stop sniffing around and just submit..?

More

The chairman of the East London Mosque is Muhammad Abdul Bari, the current secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB). This Bangladeshi-born individual had invited Sheikh Abdur-Rahman al-Sudais (Sudeis, pictured), imam at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, to the inauguration of the East London Mosque in June 2004.

sudais.jpg

Sudais has said: “Read history and you will understand that the Jews of yesterday are the evil fathers of the Jews of today, who are evil offspring, infidels, distorters of words, calf-worshippers, prophet-murderers, prophecy-deniers… the scum of the human race ‘whom Allah cursed and turned into apes and pigs…’ These are the Jews, an ongoing continuum of deceit, obstinacy, licentiousness, evil, and corruption.” In another sermon, Sudais has called Jews “the scum of the human race, the rats of the world, the violators of pacts and agreements, the murderers of the prophets, and the offspring of apes and pigs.” Abdul Bari was questioned about why he had invited Sudais to his mosque, but denied that the imam was anti-Semitic.

More from Western Resistance

Nothing revealed in this report has come as a great surprise to Western Resistance. We have been documenting the hypocrisy of the MCB and its luminaries, and the bigoted attitudes expressed by Saudi Wahhabists , since we started in August 2005. In June 2005 Iqbal Sacranie was knighted by Tony Blair, and at that time the MCB had a position of influence with the government. The group still claims to represent most Muslims and maintains that it is “moderate”.

If it does represent most Muslims then I am reminded of the words of the late Oriana Fallaci, when discussing the difference between moderate and extreme Islam: “There is only one Islam.”
