Taliban kidnap 23 Koreans from Afghan bus: official

Taliban insurgents have kidnapped 23 Korean Christians from a bus in Afghanistan, officials said on Friday, the biggest group of foreigners seized so far in the militant campaign to oust the government and its Western backers.

Taliban fighters have increasingly turned away from classic guerrilla warfare and instead have taken up what Afghan officials call “terror tactics” — kidnapping, suicide attacks and roadside bombs.

“Twenty-three Korean citizens, 15 women and five men, were very carelessly traveling in a chartered bus from Kabul to Kandahar yesterday, on the way to Kandahar their bus was stopped by armed men … and they took them away,” said Interior Minister spokesman Zemari Bashari.

He said the incident happened in the Qarabagh district of Ghazni province, some 175 km (110 miles) south of Kabul.

“We are still investigating which organization they were with, and why they were traveling to Kandahar,” he said.

The Taliban said they had seized 18 Koreans, 15 men and three women.

One dead in attack on Hindu pilgrims in Indian Kashmir

SRINAGAR, India (AFP) – One person died and 15 were wounded in an attack by suspected Islamic militants on Hindu pilgrims trekking to a revered cave shrine in Indian Kashmir, an official said.

The grenade attack occurred Tuesday evening near the entrance to a mountain camp, and a local Kashmiri died of his injuries in hospital Wednesday morning, senior shrine official Madan Mantoo told AFP.

Most of those wounded in the blast in Baltal, around 80 kilometres (50 miles) northeast of Srinagar, were local shopkeepers, labourers and vendors, and only one suffered serious injuries, said Mantoo.

This poor Kashmiri may not have been expecting Muslims to throw grenades at dozens of peaceful Hindu pilgrims on Tuesday… but it didn’t surprise us, because Muslims are commanded to ‘fight the unbelievers until all the world belongs to Allah’–, and the Muhammadans routinely attack unbelievers on their high holidays…

Judge Brian Barker, the Common Serjeant of London, told the four men their words had been designed to encourage murder and terrorism.

He told them: “No one is entitled to make perverted use of ideology to propagate destruction and death.”

* This judge -almost-, got it right; corrected, he should have said: ‘No one is entitled to use a perverts ideology to propagate destruction and death’

The judge said the protest in February 2006 had been “threatening, hateful and uncompromising” and the four men had “whipped up a frenzy” and gone far beyond what was “acceptable and legal”.

The four were arrested after 300 protesters marched to the Danish Embassy in central London over a cartoon which they said was offensive to Islam.

The drawing, which depicted the Prophet Mohammed wearing a headdress shaped like a bomb, was one of several printed in a Danish newspaper.

* Hard to believe. But what we have here is in its very essence the inevitable result of political correctness combined with a befuddlement for ‘human rights’ – which are non-existent in any Muhammedan country, but regularly used against civilized society by Muhammedan agents and their useful idiots in the West.

A failed asylum seeker jailed for child rape is to receive around £50,000 in damages after a judge ruled he had been unlawfully kept behind bars while the Home Office tried to deport him to Somalia.

He won the payout despite being offered the opportunity to go voluntarily – but he preferred to stay in a British prison with free bed and board.

The pay-out is all the more astonishing because the authorities effectively have little choice but to keep him in prison.

He cannot be let out on to the streets in Britain because he is considered a danger to the public – especially women.

But equally, it is very difficult to deported him back to Somalia, despite failing in his asylum application.

Until July no airline was willing to fly compulsory deportees there, and only one will do so now – but it is dealing with a backlog. The man himself, meanwhile, refuses to go voluntarily because he says it is too dangerous for him back home.

He has, in effect, elected to stay in Britain – yet is claiming compensation for doing so. All the while, on top of his £50,000 damages and £100,000 legal fees paid by the taxpayer, he is costing more than £37,000 a year to keep in prison.

His stay in prison beyond his sentence has already cost well over £100,000 to the taxpayer. And he is also entitled to remain anonymous in the media.

This is because the Court of Appeal follows the convention in other European courts that publicly naming asylum seekers may put them at danger from those they may be fleeing from.

The 30-year-old entered Britain illegally on a false Kenyan passport in 1995, and within three years had raped a 13-year old girl at knifepoint. Probation officers warned that if freed he might stalk his victim and attack her again, and that he poses a risk to all women, and the public in general.

He has been held in prison since his sentence ended in 2003, while officials bid to deport him to Somalia. He used Legal Aid, pushing his law fees for the taxpayer of up to £100,000, to launch a High Court appeal to be freed, along with a claim for compensation for being unlawfully imprisoned – in spite of the fact that he has been free to return to his homeland for more than three years.

Yesterday, astonishingly, his claim was partially accepted by High Court judge Mr Justice CalvertSmith who ruled that although the failed asylum seeker had sought to remain in Britain ‘by hook or by crook’, he had been unlawfully detained for 20 months.

The rapist – who has been granted the cloak of anyonymity, and can be known only as ‘A’ – will accordingly be paid compensation likely to run to £50,000, enough to buy many houses in his homeland.

The failed asylum seeker plans to appeal any imminent bid to forcibly deport him, but if he is successfully sent back his legal winnings will be sent to him there.

Two men have been arrested in Bristol under the Terrorism Act.
The first was originally arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of drug-related offences, said police.

During subsequent searches of a flat in the city officers found a substance which they said led them to suspect a link to terrorist activities.

Police, who arrested the second man after further investigations, said there was no threat to public safety and they were keeping locals informed.

Following the first arrest in the Castle Park area of Bristol police searched an address in Stapleton Road, Easton.

Officer found two 25-litre containers labelled “hydrogen peroxide” at the flat, which are now being analysed by police scientists, said the BBC’s Jon Kay.

‘Vigilant’

The men, one of whom is of Afghan origin and the other from Somalia, are held at a police station in the Avon and Somerset area.

Officers had been speaking to community leaders in the area to provide information and reassurance, it added.

In a sane world, the “community leaders” would be providing information and reassurance to the officers.

* Supporting jihad movements across the Muslim world through preaching, propaganda, personnel, funding, and technical and operational support;

*Making the Palestinian cause a global wedge issue for Muslims;
Adopting the total liberation of Palestine from Israel and the creation of an Islamic state as a keystone in the plan for global Islamic domination;
* Instigating a constant campaign to incite hatred by Muslims against Jews and rejecting any discussions of conciliation or coexistence with them;

* Actively creating jihad terror cells within Palestine;
Linking the terrorist activities in Palestine with the global terror movement;

* Collecting sufficient funds to indefinitely perpetuate and support jihad around the world;

“We want to see the Mujahideen shoot down their planes the way we shoot down birds. We want to see their tanks burn in the way we burn their flags.”

Javed, from Birmingham, was filmed by police shouting: “Bomb, bomb Denmark. Bomb, bomb USA.”

Father-of-five and BT engineer Saleem was cleared of soliciting murder at his trial in February, but convicted of stirring up racial hatred.

Saleem, from Poplar, east London, chanted, “7/7 on its way” and “Europe, you will pay with your blood”.

Finally, Abdul Muhid, 24, said to be the leader of the demonstration, chanted “Bomb, bomb the UK” and waved placards with slogans such as “Annihilate those who insult Islam”.

Four Muslim protesters have been jailed for a total of 22 years for inciting murder and racial hatred as dozens of their supporters chanted and brandished anti-Western placards outside court.
A group of women in burkas held up a sign “British police go to hell” as the men were sentenced for their role in a march against the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed in a Danish newspaper.

The convicted quartet had called for British troops in Iraq to be brought home in body bags and demanded a “9/11 across Europe” at a 300-strong demonstration in central London last February.

The Common Serjeant of London, Judge Brian Barker, QC, said at the Old Bailey hearing: “Freedoms of speech and assembly have long been jealously guarded by our laws but with freedom comes respect and responsibility, none of which was demonstrated by you and the hardcore of your fellow protesters.”

The judge said the protest had been “threatening, hateful and uncompromising” and the four men had “whipped up a frenzy” and gone far beyond what was “acceptable and legal”.

Michael F. Scheuer is one of the incompetent assholes promoted by the Clintonoids to replace the intelligent people that used to work at CIA.

He’s got a lot more writing, promoting, interviewing, and excusing to do to explain why the unit he was in charge of in the 90’s failed to capture or kill OBL.

Worse for Scheuer, the Clintonoids and Clarke have been working very hard at making sure that it is Scheuer and not themselves thrown under the “failed to get OBL when they had the chance” bus.

Of course, nobody has managed to explain why or how Scheuer was promoted to the head of the “get OBL unit.” Much less what he was doing so far outside of his field of expertise to begin with.

Yassin Nassari, who tried to smuggle rocket-making plans, beheading videos, and jihad literature into Britain, has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison.

Nassari, by the way, was head of the Islamic Society at the University of Westminster.

A Muslim who tried to smuggle blueprints for home-made rockets into Britain smiled as he was jailed for three and a half years yesterday.

Yassin Nassari was stopped by police with his wife and five-month-old son at Luton airport after an easyJet flight from Amsterdam.

The 28-year-old from Ealing had a laptop containing bomb recipes while his wife Bouchra El-Hor had a letter offering their baby as a “martyr”.

And to top it off, the judge apologized for giving Nassari this light sentence, in a statement straight out of Suicidal Political Correctness 101. Judge Gerald Gordon said at the Old Bailey that he accepted Nassari did not plan to make use of the extremist material.

But he added: “I have come to the conclusion that sadly, like a number of other young Muslims, you have somehow been indoctrinated into beliefs which support the use of terrorism by others.”

Nassari, bearded and wearing a skull cap, smiled and clenched his fists as he turned to look at his wife in court and blew her a kiss as he went down to the cells.

It is an image of the face of an angry Moslem protester and it has been used by rightwingers in the United States to mock Islamic fundamentalists. The face appears on teeshirts and mugs.

There have been claims it is the face of one particular man and that his rights and privacy have been breached.

* Attention shysters, here’s a pro-bono case for the supreme court and million dollar payouts: Act like a raving lunatic, scream genocidal slogans to get your picture in the news and when somebody pokes fun at you, sue them because the Koranimals ‘rights have been breached’

But the image is still being used and charged for by a group called Nose on your Face.

Police say the women continuously act suspiciously and bring the scrutiny on themselves. Now they face felony charges. Al-Homsi and Hamad say they will fight the charges.
